Patan Industrial Estate is a busy industrial area with many factories, workshops, and local businesses. A good place for furniture, metal works, handicrafts, and industrial services. The area is active and useful for business purposes, though roads, parking, and overall maintenance could be improved in some parts. Overall, a well-known industrial hub in Lalitpur.

Very disappointing experience at Lalitpur Kalatmak Kaasht Udyog. I visited specifically to learn about painting frames and related products, as I was researching options for my art business. I traveled from quite far with the expectation of getting proper information and guidance. Unfortunately, the staff member handling customers was not welcoming and seemed unwilling to answer basic questions about the products. Communication felt very unfriendly, and I was left with the impression that customer inquiries were not appreciated. As a potential customer, I expected professional service, product knowledge, and a willingness to help. A business can have excellent products, but customer service is equally important. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the customer experience for future visitors.

Nice place good price for Nepal made items. Worth a visit and definitely will visit again. Maybe can get photos that time. The roads inside not that good though.. also the whole place could probably use some maintenance it seems.

It has infrastructure facilities such as developed land, boundary walls, electricity distribution network, water distribution network, drainage system, industrial sheds and warehouse. These facilities are leased out to the entrepreneurs at reasonable fees for the period of 40 years.

Here are more then 25 industries, many people are getting jobs here, hera also available canteen. But no one damkal is there, so sometime having problem by firing on many factories. So need must minium one damkal here for safety of factories by fire.

Patan Industrial Area is situated at Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City of Lalitpur district under Bagmati Province. It is an old industrial estate near the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. It was established near Patan, nowadays it has become a part of the city. People could find it between Satdobato and Lagankhel of Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City. There are many industries including cultural or traditional metal and wooden craft industries.

All the furnitures remind the victorian era with it's grandeur, style, looks etc. All the decors perfectly match with the furnitures.

Beautiful and cool place.would be a lot better if there were more production based industry instead of traders.

Best for business but it has never been maintained as it is supposed to be. Business as in if you need products to be made- it's the place.
