Worst place for family & friends..however u can find cool blaze of air !! No lake as such ground is fitted with Football post and cricket pitch (hope u can imagine level of drought here), so don't expect lake. Only when it rains.. it becomes marshy and lake appears..hahaha. Posting some pics might help u!! New development in progress. 😊

Badkal lake is not a lake in summers at least. We visited this place in May. Highway construction was going on and there was on lake as far as eyes can see. When you will reach near the lake, you will find a sign board telling you to take a turn to the resort with swimming pool. Please take that turn, because the straight road leads to a dead end with no great view. The resort, I am guessing, has made some sort of path to walk along side the former lake. Also visit during monsoon, so that you can at least see some water.

Nature is great and supreme. But unfortunately, this lake is not all natural, a lot has human hands to thank, for the present condition it’s in. Ironically, it’s mankind that is to blame for the pathetic condition of this large lake. When we reached there, we were dismayed to find not a single drop of water. It was completely dry. But the beauty of the place is still intact. Sadly, humans have tried, probably successfully, to commercialise this place. There are pathways and places for one to rest. Furthermore, we also found couples, who were more interested in themselves rather than the beauty of the place. So, if it’s rustic beauty that you are looking for, you must visit this lake.

This is a natural occuring lake on the outskirts of Faridabad. It has dried up since time immemorial and though at one time it might have been a good place to visit, but during the month of December, it tends to be a tad useless to visit....I personally did not witness any water though I did not dig around to look for it!

Once a flourishing natural water body, Badkhal Lake was a famous attraction for boating, bird watching and other recreational activities. The lake no longer exists as the water has dried up due to excessive mining. However, the region now is a vast grassland where several recreational activities are held.

A Good place for family picnic. There is no water in lake now but have a beautiful scenery with greenery and hills.

Beautiful place to enjoy, camel and horse riding/walking. Enjoyable picnic shout spot. Large scale of walking, seating, playing and more. Restaurant is also in the centre.

Once it was famous for its lake but now the lake dried up and the place is used just for photography and picnic spot. Poor maintenance by the authorities of faridabad tourism.

This place has lot of potential to be a great site for chilling out let's see when the construction finishes. Currently closed but people still get in via broken fences.

worst place for picnic, the lake has no water there are only fields where local peoples play cricket,football & gilli danda.There is nothing for entertainment you can take little bit fun of camel riding and horse riding.

Good place but abhi thoda kam Baki Hai

Badkhal lake is situated near Gurgaon it is approximately 10 kilometre from bhondsi jail. Due to mining work there is no more water in this lake. Boating is there only in rainy season. There is water park situated near this. There is also Haryana government rest house.

The lake is fully covered in green small water plant but the view is good

Located in the interiors of some village.Not safe to travel after Sun is down. Lake was dried up. Place was not maintained. No place to park safely. Avoid going there .

All is good but in the night it's not safe . Off road way is there but instead of this minor problem . Sight seeing is superb ☺️, enjoying lot guys.👍
