I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Dr. Deepak Arjun Das, a neuro specialist, and his personal assistant, Bharathi, at Vijaya Health Centre. I feel compelled to share my encounter to alert others.
I booked an appointment with Bharathi, who instructed me to arrive at 12 p.m. on a Saturday. Following her guidance, I reached the center at 11 a.m., paid a hefty fee of Rs.1700, and patiently awaited my turn. However, what transpired during my visit was far from acceptable.
At around 12:15 p.m., Bharathi informed me that my token number was 67, even though my scheduled appointment was at 12 p.m. To my dismay, she insisted I wait, providing no clear explanation for the delay. This ordeal lasted for an excruciating six hours, with Bharathi casually mentioning an additional 2 hours of waiting.
The lack of organization became apparent when Bharathi stated that testing patients would be accommodated in the middle, disrupting the sequence of appointments. Despite my scheduled time, I was told I had to wait for the testing patients, further prolonging my agony.
I was shocked by the revelation that Dr. Deepak Arjun Das had a workload exceeding 80 patients in a day. This raises concerns about the quality of care and attention each patient receives.
Upon expressing my dissatisfaction and requesting a reimbursement due to the extensive waiting period, Bharathi callously refused, displaying an utter lack of empathy and professionalism.
This experience has left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the efficiency and patient care at Vijaya Health Centre. It's disheartening that the unprofessional behavior of one staff member can tarnish the reputation of an otherwise skilled doctor like Dr. Deepak Arjun Das.
I strongly advise potential patients to reconsider their choice and be cautious when dealing with Bharathi as a personal assistant. Such experiences undermine the trust and confidence one places in healthcare professionals.
