Lake Shore Hotel & Restaurant

I recently visited this restaurant and had a really great experience. The location is beautiful, with a lovely lakeside view of Lake Pichola that makes the whole atmosphere very relaxing and enjoyable, especially in the evening. The food was excellent—everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The combination of good food and the peaceful view made it even more special. Overall, it’s a perfect place to unwind, enjoy a meal, and take in the scenic beauty.

I recently visited this restaurant for dinner with my friends. The ambience was pleasant, and the location seemed attractive at first. However, the service was extremely disappointing. The staff were unprofessional and unable to serve water or food properly. We raised a complaint during dinner, but no one paid attention to our concerns. At the time of billing, we shared our feedback about our experience. Unfortunately, the staff responded very rudely and told us that they did not require our review or advice. This made it clear that they only care about money rather than customer satisfaction. Moreover, the lake view was not as impressive as expected. Overall, I would not recommend visiting this restaurant. Please save your money and choose a place that values quality service and customer experience.

Food was fantastic, and very reasonable! We got a waterfront seating low table overlooking the water and downtown Udaipur, it was very comfortable. I would happily recommend this restaurant to any tourist wanting a beautiful view and attentive staff, who worked to get us that table even without reservations - we only needed to wait until one came available and we were moved. Wonderful evening view of the city gate across the water too!

Endroit parfait pour profiter d’un bon repas et se reposer. La vue sur le lac est parfaite et on se sent accueilli comme à la maison. Le staff est super attentionné et tout est parfait. Je recommande mille fois!

Excellent location. This is truly lake view hotel. Other hotels either have a road in between or all rooms doesn’t have lake view. But at this property, the room’s window directly opens to lake. So location is 10/10. Price can be tricky. We got a good deal (around Rs.2600/ night) because we booked for non-weekend. Rooms are clean. All toiletries available in washroom. Parking is available. Can easily park upto 4 cars. But the last 600-800 m of road leading to the hotel is very narrow. So it will be challenging to take your car to/from the hotel very often. I will advise to reach the hotel by car and keep the car parked at the hotel while you do sightseeing of places around Pichola lake. Then while going to Fateh Sagar, Sajjangarh, Bahubali hills and other far off places, you can take car. The rooms are basically in the basement and there is a semi-roof top restaurant on first floor. The restaurant also have the lake view.

Lake shore : A Lake side restaurant with good ambience. Approach : park your 4 wheeler at some designated parking then go for public transport. Left axis of sitting arrangement is recommended for better view . Evening vibes are dynamic vis a vis calm n serene morning. Weather plays a crucial role as during summer it's good to be before 1000hrs or evening hrs . Services are good, food preparation is ok . Ice tea is good .

Мы наслаждались этим местом видом и вкусной едой. Заказывали рыбу в панировке и кебаб из курицы, оба блюда оказались свежими и сочными. Особенно удивило гостеприимство самого владельца, который приветливо рассказал о достопримечательностях и уникальных локациях.

Mn bezoek vandaag aan bar/restaurant Lake Shore was een spontaan bezoek. Het zag er mooi uit, dus ik liep er maar naar binnen. Binnen werd ik ontvangen met de echte Indiaanse gastvrijheid. Ze hebben mooie plekjes aan het water waar je comfortabel kan liggen met genoeg kussens en aan een tafeltje. De eigenaar deed veel moeite zodat ik extra lekker lag. Uiteindelijk heb ik hier alleen een lassi gedronken, maar die was al zo lekker dat ik zeker nog eens terugkom in mijn dagen hier in Udaipur voor het diner. Echt een aanrader. Ga hier heen en ontspan. De ambiance, het personeel en de setting is echt geweldig.

Very disappointing experience. The food quality was poor, and the taste was not up to the mark. The dishes were very spicy and lacked freshness. The service was equally disappointing—staff were inattentive, slow to respond, and seemed uninterested in assisting customers. Despite waiting for a long time, our requests were not handled properly. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations according to the prices, and I would not recommend this restaurant based on the food and service provided.

I had a very disappointing experience at Lake Shore Restaurant on 22/03/2026 around 11:30 PM. The staff and manager behaved extremely rudely throughout our visit. What was most shocking was the manager’s behavior—he broke a dish directly on our table, which felt aggressive and completely unacceptable. This created a very uncomfortable and unsafe atmosphere. Hospitality and basic respect were completely lacking. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before visiting. I suggest, never try with family dine in and stay. J ai déjeuné à cet endroit.. je crois que c était l endroit parfait pour passer un petit moment au calme. En plus de cela, les serveurs et direction étaient vraiment aux petits soins.. Et je n oublie jamais la nourriture qui était délicieuse.. j ai pris un byriani qui était vraiment excellent...merci .

Breathtaking lake views, outstanding food, and brilliant service. Lake Shore Hotel and Restaurant is an absolute must-visit when in Udaipur. And mostly the manager was very friendly and nice to us. Talked to us wholeheartedly and made our visit memorable. 🙏💐 Recommended.

So nice we went twice! Firstly had dinner overlooking the lake - just stumbled across this gem. Prices were so fair for the experience you get - a little oasis. I came back for breakfast and the owner was so lovely - he gave me half a spicy omelette to try just out of generosity. Lovely place, lovely people, peaceful views across the lake and beyond

We visited Lake Shore Hotel, and I must say the ambience was quite good and pleasant. We ordered Paratha and Lal Maas. Unfortunately, the food was a big disappointment. There was no real flavour, and it was hard to enjoy. The paratha was also burnt, which made it worse. Overall, while the ambience was nice, the food quality did not meet expectations, and we couldn’t enjoy the meal.

Lake shore Udaipur is on of the best Restaurant on Lake Pichola of Udaipur. Delicious food, prompt & caring service on affordable prices. It has all Lake view Rooms with the car parking.

very beautiful view and the staff were very very kind and diligent. amazing management as well. would highly recommend this place for anyone.
