25 min drive from Thrissur, this place is beautiful to visit early morning and late afternoon/sunset time. Not very commercial, with just 1 shop selling tea, coffee and some light snacks. Very picturesque!!

Pretty tall hill more of a rock. Easy ascent and descent. Stunning views before sunrise with all the clouds, mist and lush greenery. They’ve also added a handrail to help with the climb.

Sunset and sunrise are the best photographic seneries from the top. Evenings are wonderful here Good spot for families Parking is the only problem here.

A very popular tourist spot very close to Thrissur town. It is a huge rock, which gives a breathtaking view from the top. Best time to visit the place is around early morning or late evening. Sunrise and sunset view from the top is just spectacular.

This beautiful place is situated about 4 km from poomala dam. No steps are available to climb to the top. You have to use the hand rail to reach to the top. Once you reach the top the views are amazing. The best time to visit the place is after evening 5'O clock. Only road side parking is available and parking or entry fees is not available. In rainy season you have to be careful as the rocks will be slippery and no safty guards/rails are available

It's a beautiful place. You can enjoy the surrounding nature beauty from here. Best place to hangout with friends and family. The tourist department can convert this place to next level by providing basic things like a children park, garden, toilet facilities, rain shelters etc. A police aid post is compulsory for helping the tourist.

This is one of the most Beautiful and calm places in Thrissur ! The rocks and mountain have no endings !! It is really vast area ! You can explore it in your own way with freedom ! There are ancient caves here. You can watch beautiful sunset from here ! This place can be enjoyed by family, adventurers and peace finders ! I loved this place ! Nice place to spend evening time for family and individuals. It's a huge rock formation with a reasonable height to access by walk. Handrail is provided to walk safely from the bottom to top. It's dangerous to ride two wheeler above the rock. The evening wind was there when I visited the location. This location is a treasure for local people and those who can reach there in reasonable time.

We ended our short Thrissur excursion by enjoying the beautiful green beauty from the top of Chepara Rocks. Absolutely stunning 😍! Must visit place.

An area with big rock, top of the rock flat region , visit early morning or evening only , otherwise very hot. SUNSET view is very beautiful. Road is narrow but vehicles are very less, so no traffic block usually

It’s my go-to destination for a quick trip and has a very positive vibe. I usually visit early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise. Most shops open only in the evening, and I feel it would be even more interesting if a tea shop were open in the morning.

Great view of valleys from top of rock. A very vast rock spreads acres with beautiful ponds. Most of the rock area is experienced on an SUV like a drive through. Summer is very hot on rocks. Lot to walk if you are not ready to be on a vehicle. Benches are built to relax. A windy atmosphere with great views. Very relaxing calm place.

A beautiful place to spend the evening. The place is very crowded. We have to climb up the rock hill where we can spot some muniyaras. As I know there is no bathroom facility.

Cheppara is becoming a favourite spot for people, especially couples, to spend some free leisure time at any time of the day. We can explore this rock on our own and there are many unexplored areas which can even get you lost. Entry is free of cost and there is also a parking facility. People can go off-road with their bikes.

It was an amazing experience. The way to there is a little steep height, but you will not regret when you reached at the top. A beautiful must visit place for mind relaxation. Definitely we can enjoy the beauty of nature from here.. This is simply amazing😍 , You can enter there without any fee or ticket, -Entry fee: Entry for the cheppara cave is free and there is direct access from the road. -Parking: There is no special space for parking car. However I have parked my car in a hotel parking space. Most of the space was available to park -Shops: 3 shops can be found near to the cheppara cave, 1 is proper hotel for lunch etc and other two are mainly for snacks etc. It's not sure about the lunch in the other two shops.
