iWok Restaurant Marina

IWOK is a delivery only kitchen that offers Asian street food experience delivered in grab and go type of woks. You can customise these woks with your choice of base, protein, veggies and sauces preferred. Delivery was well made in time and package was spill proof. We had veg tom yum soup, jasmine rice along with Thai green curry and mix veg fried rice. Soup was good with great sour and spice flavours. Mix veg fried rice was just plain rice and it lacked seasoning and flavours. However Thai curry rice was a wonderful binge and was good to taste. The portion size was pretty generous. Overall, decent food and can certainly be tried once in a while for a good Asian street food experience.

The food didn’t taste similar to the one in Karama . The manchow soup was great , the starters crispy chicken was good but no much crispiness in it, the chicken lollypop was too salty and we told the same to the chef . The pot rice was decent , the chicken shezwan rice tasted very ordinary . The Gypsy rest in Karama served the same , but much more tasty being hones

The overall dining was average to be honest. Let’s start with food, it was quite avg in my opinion considering that it’s focused on stir fry quite a lot. The rice was rather sticky and lumpy rather than fluffy and separated, tried 2 variants of sauces schezwan and garlic pepper, with the former being rather the worse of the 2. The concept itself is quite clever, charge for each and every ingredient 😀 the basics itself will swell up the bill.. and it would be well justified if the end product would be top notch, which sadly is not the case. Coming to ambience it was a simple place which is fine as its a quick stir fry joint, but it was warm and the music was way too loud considering it wasn’t a pub. Over all I didn’t find it worth the money spent! PS: food views are based on vegetarian items

Come to iWok & choose whatever strikes your mind, Lots of noodle selection, meat, veggies & sauces to top it all off, all is great & will cost you less than 50 Dirhams. I went for menu items that included, prawn sweet & sour, chicken teriyaki, & mixed egg noodle option along with chicken spring rolls. All made to order, so might take a bit of waiting but well worth it! Space is a bit limited but when it was not when I visited. Staff are friendly & helpful. Keep eating people, you never know if we will find food tomorrow 🙂🙏🏻🍜🍝

Who loves asian streetfood ? But usually has alllot of calories, i found @readytoiwok suppperr healthy and so delicious ! Customized and classic favourites 🥵 I tried a custom wok, hakka noodles & Asian quinoa salad ! Loved it so much, fresh crunchy and healthy 🌹10/10

My recent visit to Iwok left me wanting for more Chinese food. With astounding views of Dubai Marina, we enjoyed our food to the fullest. We relished Chicken Spring Rolls - crisp on the outside with a delicious filling Prawn Crackers - our favorite Chicken Manchow Soup - perfectly seasoned and best for the winters Chicken Korean Chilli Noodles - spicy and so flavorful Prawn Garlic Black Pepper - spiced well, not oily and delightful They have an option to create your own Wok, so we ordered for Egg noodles + chicken + veggies + burnt chilly - loved it, a must try Good food with lovely view Do visit them

We recently received a delivery for review from Iwok , Mankhool.. They are specialized in Asian cuisine and wok Boxes which can be either customized or choose from the existing ones. They have one more branch located in Marina area. The package which we got consisted of a meal for two with chicken Korean chilli noodles version and prawns with black pepper sauce fried rice. We also got to try dynamite shrimps, veg spring rolls and Tom yum soup . I loved the authentic flavors and everything tasted really great. I would definitely recommend the prawns with black pepper sauce.

Nasigorang is not made with the specific ingredients This is my worse experience with nasigorang Please don't buy I'm regretting now, that I bought by noon Guys change your chef Don't do this to consumers. I never ate nasigorang with this kind of rice with chilli salsa (iyya)

Underwhelming, we were craving for a midnight noodle place with this cold weather and found this spot. Looked promising and the options were a lot. We ordered Tom Yum Soup, Chicken Wonton Noodles, Veg Spring rolls and mango sticky rice. Tom Yum 7/10 - it was missing a lot of items but good nonetheless Chicken Wonton 8/10 - enjoyed the soup and the wonton was very nice Veg Spring Rolls 8/10 - tastes nice, really crunchy but the portions are small Mango Sticky Rice 0/10 - This has to be the worst mango sticky rice i have eaten, the mangoes were raw and hard, the rice wasnt even sticky rice, i asked our waitress and she said that they only use jasmine rice. The coconut milk tasted like it was not cooked and was fresh out of the can. There was no sweetness at all, we even had to ask for some sugar. But we finished everything we ordered, wouldn't waste food 😉

Worst food in Marina! By far! Wok was awful, no ingredients except 5 small pieces of chicken, rice thats done awfully and few mushrooms. Waiter didnt have change vuz place is probably empty all day, so he had to go to another place to get it. All in all - dont try this place

In all of my 2 weeks stay. This was the best food I had. I literally ate in every place close by. This in my opinion was the best. There food is cooked on the spot and the best part is not that is cheap. It's delicious. Please if you ever in Dubai or in the area. Stop by. And don't forget to give me a thumps up when you done eating. I know you're gonna love it.

Their was a manager he was very rude he doesn’t have any respect zero he thought I wasn’t local cause I was wearing clothes so pls look at it

Some days u just wanna be tucked in your lazy boy and enjoy a nice hot box of noodles.. and to make it epic yesterday I was accompanied by #GOT #GameOfThrones and to make it even more awesome was zomato’s no cooking weekend #nocookingweekend #zomatouae There are restaurants that don’t cater to vegetarians (hate them😡) and there are restaurants that have a perfect balance between the vegetarians and meat options. And then there are restaurants that pretty much don’t have a menu and you make your own 😊. Recently we have been in love with these wok restaurants and iWok is our neighborhood wok style place in #DubaiMarina. They do have a small list of signature dishes which has chili garlic noodles and they are just phenomenal.. highly recommended👍🏻. Tried yesterday with a coupon, for sure the Thai option is far to be authentic, will not return. They do too many Asian foods , Chinese, Singaporean, Thai, Japanese etc. I think their clients are not from these cousine countries

Gypsy used to be a top option for Mumbai Chinese. Seems like it has gone down in their own knowledge of authentic Mumbai Chinese. They have come up with fancy names of dishes like general tsao’s chicken which just is same as Manchurian chicken. The most shocking thing was the triple shezwan fried rice which anyone you eat in Mumbai will have fried rice with shezwan sauce and here they gave me white fried rice with my order of triple shezwan fried rice. When I called up the restaurant the answer was that is how it is made everywhere. The person who answered my call clearly said that their owners make the names and recipes and they follow. Please don’t call yourself as Indian Chinese and keep your menu and names simple! Disappointing to see such an Mumbai icon loosing it touch so drastically.
