I tried the Matilda Cake and San Sebastian Cheesecake from Postre Magic, the cute little roadside shop at Kowdiar, and they were out of this world! The Matilda cake was rich and chocolatey, and the San Sebastian cheesecake was honestly better than the one I had in Dubai — smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The owner was right there, super friendly, and took time to explain everything to us, which made the whole experience even better. You can really feel the passion behind their desserts. Highly recommend this spot — it’s pure magic! ✨🍰. Will definitely visit again❤️

I visited with high expectations due to all the hype, and to be honest, the Matilda cake(200/-) truly lived up to it and even exceeded my expectations. The customer service was warm and attentive, which made the experience even better. A must-try for chocolate lovers definitely not to be missed.Gonna visit again for trying other items in the menu..🤌❤️

The couple operating the food cart engaged with us in an exceptionally spirited and enthusiastic manner, eagerly detailing the nuances of their culinary creations. They presented us with a delightful Matilda cake, luxuriously drenched in a trio of white, dark, and milk chocolate sauces — a decadent indulgence. Conversely, the tres leches cake was underwhelming; it possessed a lackluster texture and flavor profile that rendered it unremarkable.

My mother and I dropped in for a dessert night outing, and I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed it! We ordered the Matilda Cake on the menu. The slice of chocolate cake was the right kind of spongy, moist and decadent - the three chocolate sauces added to the richness of the dessert. Definitely dropping in again to try the other desserts on the menu!

I recently tried their Matilda cake, Nutella Brownie, and Hot Chocolate. All 3 were good, especially the Matilda cake it was heavenly – rich, moist, and utterly perfect. I'd rate everything 10/10, a must-try spot for all dessert lovers!

We recently visited Postre Magic at Kowdiar, and it was absolutely amazing! It was our first time. Earlier when we went there, there was nothing, everything got over. So you can imagine the taste of this place. I had Matilda cake, and made my husband to buy San Sebastian Cheesecake ( as I wanted to taste it also 😋😉). It was tooooo yum. They prepare the cake at there home itself. So it's hygienically prepared, no doubt about it. And their service is also good, it felt as if we are at our friends place. Matilda costed 200rs, and the other one 240. Kaash mei bhi unn logo jaise hoti jo jitna bhi khaaye, shareer pe dikhta nhi😁😉🤪.

We just had the most amazing Matilda cake from them, and it was absolutely worth the wait! 🥰 Such a lovely and friendly couple who pour their heart into making completely homemade cakes, brownies, and more. The cake was rich, moist, and truly delicious.. Every bite felt special.. ❤️ We even waited for them to open, and honestly, it was totally worth it. Looking forward to many more sweet treats from them!❤️☺️

Loved the desserts at Postre Magic, and the hosts were as sweet as their desserts. Warm and always smiling. Their desserts are a must try, we had Tres Leches, San Sebastián and a Matilda cake.

PostreMagic is the new kid on the block, run by a passionate husband-and-wife duo. Though new in name, they’re no strangers to the pastry game — they’ve been in the cake business for quite some time. It’s refreshing to see their new venture focusing on high-quality, handcrafted pastries. My wife and I happened to visit on their inaugural day, making us among their very first customers. Based on their recommendation, we tried the Matilda (₹170) and a cup of hot chocolate (₹50). The Matilda was absolutely delightful — not overly sweet, not too rich — just perfectly balanced. We genuinely loved it. As for drinks, only hot chocolate was available on the first day. Yesterday, we went back again — craving that same Matilda. When we arrived, they were just opening, and there was already a small crowd gathering. We waited patiently, and once again, the Matilda didn’t disappoint. We didn’t try anything else that evening, as we had already finished dinner, but our taste buds were fixated on that one pastry — and it hit the spot once more. What really stands out is the consistent quality — soft texture, well-balanced sweetness, and a subtle chocolatey touch. Bonus points for serving it on eco-friendly plates, which shows they care about the little things. That said, parking could be a challenge if you're coming by car. The Kowdiar–Kuravankonam stretch has practically turned into a food street, and space is tight. Since PostreMagic is still in its early days, there might be occasional delays due to short staffing and high demand. If that happens, just wait a few minutes — because once you get your Matilda, you’ll know it was worth it. They’re also open to feedback. I’ve already shared my thoughts directly, and I encourage you to do the same if you have suggestions. It’s always nice to see a business that listens and cares. Verdict: A must-visit for pastry lovers. Don’t expect a large menu yet, but if you try the Matilda, chances are you’ll be going back for it too. 🤝

We had the Matilda Cake and the White Mango Hug both were absolutely amazing. The flavours were rich and unique . Hospitality was warm and welcoming, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. A must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates great taste and great service. Highly recommended!

There should be an option to rate hygeine as well. The items there are good, even the customer service is great too but they really need to improve their hygiene. The girl was sneezing and coughing into her gloved hand, then using that same hand to touch the food, which was disgusting. Its better to use plastic glove which can be removed after serving the food and kept in a box. The chaat stall near this stall looks a lot hygeine and i have seen the person there doing this. They should also try to handle cash with a non-gloved hand.

Absolutely loved their cakes... It was moist, rich, and perfectly sweet—not too heavy, not too light. The flavors were beautifully balanced, and the frosting was creamy without being overpowering. Every slice disappeared in minutes. A true treat for the taste buds!... It's near kowdiar... So more convenient to go there often.... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😝😝😝😝😝😝
