قصر حمام صرح

A small hammam (Turkish bath) located in the middle of nowhere. Despite not being attended, the place is quite well-maintained. If you are coming by car, park in front of any adjacent building and walk to this place. Entrance is free. Expect to spend no more than 15 minutes. Around 3-4 KM away is the Qasr Al-Hallabat and its museum.

Hammam As-Sarah is an interesting Umayyad-era concept, located near Qasr al-Hallabat. The site features well-reconstructed stone architecture and an advanced heating system. The bath complex is small but rich in history, and it is fascinating to discover and learn about. A great stop en route to exploring Jordan’s desert castles! 🚶‍♂️🏛️✨

We arrived around 12 PM to the site and nobody was there, but the gate was open. We stayed around 5 minutes and take some Photo. It's included in Jordan Pass and in the Desert Castles routes, but not one of the top destination in Jordan.

قصر حمام الصرح ويطلق عليه أيضا قصر الحلابات الشرقي؛ بناء أموي يقع في مدينة الزرقاء في الأردن شمال العاصمة الأردنية عمان. أُقيم في منطقة سهلية، وهو مجموعة من الأبنية تشمل حماماً بقبةٍ مخططةٍ مع ملحقاته كغرف تغيير الملابس، ومسجد صغير، وقاعة استقبال، ويرجع بناء القصر إلى أوائل القرن الثامن الميلادي بحدود سنة 725م. كانت وظيفة المبنى حماماً ملحقاً بصرح، أي قصر، الحلابات. قَصْرُ الحَلَّابَات موقع أثري في الأردن يقع على بعد 25 كم شمال شرق الزرقاء. وإلى الشمال من الطريق المعبدة التي تصل مدينة الزرقاء بواحة الأزرق ويعتقد أن بدايات الموقع تعود للفترة النبطية وأنه كان يمثل في هذه الفترة محطة عسكرية لحماية قوافل الأنباط التجارية، تعود معظم الأبنية إلى العصر الروماني والأموي

Not much to see, but it's free so it might be worth stopping for a visit. From Wikipedia: Hammam al-Sarah is an Umayyad bathhouse (hammam) in Jordan, built in connection with the complex of Qasr al-Hallabat, which stands some 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) to the west. Along with examples in the other desert castles of Jordan, it is one of the oldest surviving remains of a Muslim bathhouse.

Most of the building is not original, but reconstructed. It makes no sense for me to built a bath in the middle of nowhere. Even today the surroundings are not very inviting.

Superbe architecture épurée. On se demande ce que faisait là un hammam car on ne peut pas deviner ce qu'il y avait autrefois autour.

Pustinjski hamam... I sad to zvuči vrlo primamljivo. Samo se može zamisliti kakav je to užitak bio kad je hamam bio u funkciji

Klein und unscheinbar aber auf der Route liegenden einfach mal anschauen.

مكان صغير ومغلق بالقرب من الشارع تماماً ويجاوره بيوت.

Very small building with a very interesting history of construction and reconstruction If you’re a student of conservation, architecture or preservation this place is a must visit after you visit Al Hallabat Castle which is right next to it. It also offers a glimpse into the life of an Umayyad Bath with its small chambers. Ps: it looks much bigger in pictures, in reality it’s a rather tiny small building.

Niewielke zostało. Można wejść spędzić 5 minut i ruszyć dalej.

Un edificio muy pequeñito sin nadie que vigile ni te informe lo más mínimo. Si no te viene de camino no vale la pena desviarse.

Eines der kleinen Wüstenschlösser, welches trotzdem durch seine Bauweise besticht.
