Kharmaalu Hostel in Qazvin was an unforgettable experience! It’s a beautiful historical house where you can truly feel the love built into every brick. The owner, Farzaneh, was so kind and welcoming — she even baked a delicious cake, and we enjoyed it together with hot tea. The basement was a magical world of its own, full of character, and soon it will look even more beautiful with Vali’s touch of color. It truly felt like home — can’t wait to go back! 💛 هاستل خرمالو در قزوین تجربه‌ای فوق‌العاده و پر از حس خوب بود. عمارتی تاریخی با روح و عشق در خشت‌خشت دیوارهاش؛ انگار گذشته هنوز نفس می‌کشه اونجا. صاحب مهربون عمارت، فرزانه‌جون، با قلبی بزرگ ازمون پذیرایی کرد و یه کیک خوشمزه پخت که با چای داغ دور هم خوردیم و کلی لذت بردیم. زیرزمینش خودش یه دنیای دیگه‌ست، پر از حال و هوا و انرژی خاص — قراره با ولی رنگی‌تر و قشنگ‌تر هم بشه. فوق‌العاده خوش گذشت، و مطمئناً دوباره برمی‌گردم 💛

I was very lucky to stay at Mehdi hostel for one night. I was welcomed as a family member and had a great staying. Mehdi is just great guy wants you feel like home! Definitely the place to have a proper rest!!!!

It was a pleasure staying there and meeting Ramezani's lovely family. The house felt great. It has a beautiful yard where we could sit on the chairs and relax. There were lots of great books to read, and I enjoyed the variety. I highly recommend this cozy hostel with its respectful and welcoming family.

Очень хороший хостел, замечательный отзывчивый владелец! Тихое место как оазис в большом шумном городе, где накормят путника и дадут возможность отдохнуть. Так же при необходимости организуют трансфер, даже если ты с велосипедом! Чистые и удобные кровати, горячая вода и хороший wifi. Очень вкусный омлет по утрам!

I spent three nights at this lovely little hostel in May. Mehdi and his family were amazing and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. The room is cute, clean and tastefully designed and complete with a small kitchenette, making it very special and unique. The location is excellent and I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Останавливались у Mehdi (Мэтти) в общей сложности на 3 ночи. Мы - это 4 велотуриста из России - ездили в октябре 2024 в велопоход до Каспия через горы и обратно. Mehdi очень отзывчивый и внимательный хозяин, чувствовали себя с ним почти как у родной бабушки в гостях. Что понравилось в этом месте - уютная комната для отдыха и сна (для холодов есть мощный газовый обогреватель), полноценная кухня, прекрасный двор с раскидистым деревом хурмы. Кровати кому-то могут показаться жесткими, а матрасы и белье - слишком простыми. Но это хостел, не многозвездочный отель. Во дворе есть зона барбекю, есть дрова. Душ и туалет находятся на улице в отдельном помещении под гаражом. Завтрак включен в стоимость - нехитрый, но вкусный. Место тихое, окруженное со всех сторон жилыми домами. Рядом есть всякие нужные магазины и, конечно, Гранд Базар. Mehdi не только хозяин хостела, но и большой помощник в делах и приятный собеседник. Он организовал нам трансфер из и в аэропорт Тегерана - нас четверых и 4 велосипеда за очень вменяемую стоимость. Помог найти велозапчасти в Казвине для ремонта, подсказал несколько очень вкусных и недорогих кафе, прогулялся вместе с нами по Караван-сараю и немного по базару. В общем - всячески рекомендую и место и хозяина - это отличный выбор для любого путешественника! P.S.: Учтите, что могут быть комары! Нас ночью кусали, мешали спать. Наверное, это зависит от сезона.

Very cozy and comfortable and clean. I strongly advise this place. The host were super friendly and nice. If you are looking for another home in another place, you can definitely find it in this hostel.

Fue un placer conocer a esta maravillosa familia que tan bien me ha tratado. Mehid y su familia se han portado conmigo como si fuera uno más. Me han ayudado a que mi estancia en Qazvin, sea inmejorable y se han preocupado en todo momento por mi y que estuviera bien. El hostel está muy bien, es muy tranquilo, limpio y cerca de todo. Una de mis mejores experiencias en Irán. Volveré en un futuro y no tengo dudas que me volveré a alojarme en este lugar tan maravilloso

My habitation with my friend at Mehdi’s hostel in Qazvin was an incredible and memorable experience. The warm and hospitable atmosphere provided by Mehdi and his family made us feel comfortable and at home. From cooking and making fig cake to watching the full moon from the top of a mountain, every moment was unforgettable. The charming and vintage décor of the house and the small courtyard pond further enhanced the appeal of this place.

Best place for visit in Qazvin. Near to the market and Heritage places. Clean, Best for hygiene and peace lovers. Host was very welcoming and helpful. if you want to see the true heritage of Iran. it's recommend. love from Pakistan ❤️

Mehdi and Farzaneh are two wonderful persons. They made up such a cozy hostel in Qazvin, with a silent courtyard close to the main road. Most of the sightseeing are at walking distance by the hostel. Moreover both of them are happy to spend time with guest, they will give you a taste of Iranian welcoming hospitality! Thank you again, Andrea

stayed for two nights. Mehadi speaks some English, the place is small but quiet and safe and clean. However the drawbacks are Toilet is downstairs, problem if you are senior citizen Only one toilet for 4 Dorm bed Too many mosquitos, I couldn't sleep. He should attend to this problem otherwise it will be difficult for the guests to sleep. Location is not easy to find. Pandu

One of the most welcoming hostels I have ever stayed in while traveling! The hospitality and kindness of Mehdi and his family will amaze you and make you feel at home! The rooms are cozy and the location of the house is perfect to explore the center of Qazvin. Mehdi will give you useful tips as well to make your stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

I just had a great experience at this hostel. Mehdi is a wonderful host, he takes great care of everything, inside it is very cozy, with a garden and many beautiful plants. You can tell that there is a lot of love in every detail, even the breakfast is made with great care.

I stayed for a week and a half and it's absolutely the best place to stay. Very quiet, i got all the sleep i wanted and haven't been so refreshed and chill since i left home more than 3 months ago. I worked as a volunteer for Mehdi, helped with renovating an old house and thus enjoyed 2 meals a day with his family (fabulous) and a lot of companionship. They are all great and the place is really cool. Go for it, volunteering or just hostelling

I have never stayed in a hostel before. But it was one of the best experience, I found new friends that whom I did not notice the passing of time and my time was not wasted. They were very warm and hospitable. Our host was Aziiz joon that she was very very sweety, warm and friendly, also dear mehdi who manages there. There, in the urban context and next to the grand bazar, it was great to stay and commute. there be a quiet and cozy place to relax for weekend & begin your trip which doubled the pleasure of your visit to Qazvin ‏I was impressed by their kindness, creativity and thoughtfulness
