Ram Pratap Palace By Fateh Collection

Had an amazing stay at Ram Pratap Palace during my Udaipur trip. The hotel is beautifully located near Fateh Sagar Lake, which makes the view and atmosphere very peaceful. The property has a very royal feel with great ambience and cleanliness. Rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. Service was excellent — whenever we called, staff responded quickly and were very polite. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Udaipur!

Excellent dining experience, but rooms need improvement. Pros: Great location near Fateh Sagar Lake and very helpful front office staff. The highlight was the Raj Bagh Restaurant—the food is delicious, and the service by Mr. Vikram was the definition of true hospitality. The beds are also very comfortable. Cons: The rooms lack proper ventilation and basic amenities like hairdryers or shower mats. While the parking is good, the car wash staff was quite rude, and management couldn't assist with the issue. Additionally, the rooms feel basic and do not quite meet a 'luxury' standard."

My stay at this hotel was very comfortable and safe. The room was very clean and well-maintained. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, which made the environment feel quite safe for ladies as well. The food was tasty and the service was quick. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to others.☺️☺️🤩

We stayed there in Jan-26 & must say stay here was one of the highlight of our udaipur vacation. This hotel is located in front of Fatehsagar lake & has its own lakeside resturant named Rajbagh. We stayed in lake view room which was absolutely fabulous. Overall hotel ambience is very true to Rajasthani culture & too many spots to click beautiful photos. Rajbagh restaurant gives you opportunity to be lakeside & enjoy serenity without having too much crowd around. Morning walk by Fatehsagar lake is must do. Overall room service & given facilities are great. Feedback - Bathroom kit can be improved & geysers inside bathroom are required as solar does not provide water as hot as expected during very cold weather in Jan.

If you’re looking for an authentic heritage experience in Udaipur, Rampratap Palace at Rajbagh Lakeside is a wonderful choice. Graceful, tranquil, and full of character.

My stay at Rampratap Hotel (Raajbag Hotel) was very disappointing. The hotel is advertised as a high-class property, but the actual experience was completely opposite. The bathroom was extremely dirty and had a strong bad smell. It was not hygienic at all, which is unacceptable. The rooms did not match the photos shown online, which feels misleading and unfair to tourists who book expecting a premium stay. On top of that, the TV in the room was not working. When we informed the staff, the issue was not resolved properly, and their response felt careless and unhelpful. Overall, it gave the impression that guests are being misled by false claims and poor service. We also had dinner at the hotel, which was not worth the price or the expectations at all. The only positive experience during the stay was the breakfast, which was good. Overall, Rampratap Hotel / Raajbag Hotel does not live up to its promises, and I would not recommend this place unless major improvements are made in cleanliness, honesty, and customer service.

Just breathtakingly beautiful. Trust me when I say it. I enjoyed the morning complimentary breakfast by the Fateh Sagar Lake. The stay was great. Rooms were clean & tidy.Room service was available at a quick call.Even the swimming pool is clean.

First time in Udaipur. Not an actual place but converted Haveli Noisy busy riad nearby. There are some rooms without windows so be careful to get a room with lake view. Solar water system so some rooms have hot water supply problems. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast/ restaurant area in front is excellent, lake facing.

It was a wonderful stay in the hotel and the credit goes to Mr Arvind Singh for being a wonderful host. Everything was up to the mark and as suggested by others. Highly recommended.

Todos muy amables y las habitaciones hermosas. El único inconveniente fue que en la ducha no había agua fría y tenías que abrir el grifo de la Bacha para que no saliera tan caliente, además de incómodo porque no podés regular la temperatura el gasto de agua es el doble. Y en el restaurante que estaba enfrente el servicio no es muy bueno, esperamos bastante que nos atiendan para cenar, ya que era a la carta

We have had a excellent stay with 20 ladies at Rampratap Hotel. Awesome view and food. Raaj Baugh restaurant right across the property is awesome. The staff is just courteous and helpful. Recommend ladies stays here.

The rooms are massively overpriced. You have to get lucky to have hot, or at least warm, water, on most days we were unlucky. Staff is nice though and the breakfast in the restaurant across the street is alright. Location is ok, can reach the sights on foot. But the horns from the street right next to the rooms are very loud throughout the night.

I stayed at this property for 4 nights and 3 days, and it turned out to be a truly pleasant experience. The location is outstanding—right next to the beautiful Fateh Sagar Lake—with a lovely lake-side restaurant and ample parking space. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic, adding great value to the overall stay. One of the biggest advantages was the early check-in at around 9 AM, which was extremely helpful for us as we were travelling with our 6-month-old baby. The staff was very supportive and ensured a smooth and comfortable check-in process. The service throughout our stay was excellent. A special mention to Ajay Singh, who made our dining experience wonderful with his attentive and friendly service. The room was comfortable, though a couple of small improvements—like adding a mirror inside the room and better TV placement—could make it even better. But these were minor in comparison to the overall positive experience. With its prime location, lake-facing views, great hospitality, and supportive staff, this property is definitely a great choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We had booked 4 night stay at Ram Pratap and it turned out to be a great experience right from perfect location to excellent service. The location is a treat to the eyes specially if you are opting for lake view rooms as we woke up to perfect mornings watching the fateh sagar lake and the calm boat rides through the big windows. The restraunt location is also right by the lake where you can enjoy your meals , clear blue skies alongwith the lake view. I must mention the hospitality of the staff as they were very welcoming and were prompt in service.For our next day early morning journey from Udaipur they were kind enough to pack early morning breakfast (5:30 am in the morning) for us which was a very nice gesture and fixed the gyser problem (again disturbing their early morning sleep ) as someone had by mistake turned off the switch and then visiting personally to check if things were working. Travelling to any place becomes a great experience if the accommodation is good enough to return back after a long exhausting day and relax just at your den, so was this place .10/10 for the service, we would love to visit again , only one suggestion could be to add a small play area for the kids which would really be great for people travelling with kids.

Pros: 1. Location is good, connected with broad road and all local sight seeing within 20 mins of drive.Fateh Sagar lake is just walking distance away. 2. The room size is good. Cons: 1. The property has very limited room so runs on minimal staff. The staff sometimes tends to be rude especially in the restaurant. I asked one of the staff to dry up the table as it was wet due to morning dew and we wanted to sit under the sun. He started cribbing as to why we can’t use another table which is dry which were all in shade. So basically lacked the Rajasthani Hospitality which we experienced on the other hotels we stayed at during the trip. 2. If you are self-driving then parking is an issue. The parking is shared between their Restaurant and Hotel. If reach back hotel after 8pm all parking would be full and you would be given a temp parking and would be asked to park back at proper place once available which could be as late as 11 in the night. So if you want to sleep early you can’t do that. They don’t have valet. 3. Lack of basic amenities like vanity kit. With the price I was paying for the room I would expect such amenities. Food is average neither a pro nor a con.

Great hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and well maintained. Restaurant and food very good.

Nice location near fatah sagar. Their restaurant Raj bag is at farah sagar Lake. But hotel is not at Lake. Overall nice property and location

We stayed here during mid May’26. Service, room and staff everything was good. We enjoyed our stay.

Stay was comfortable with family and staff is very good and good is amazing aur special mention Mr.Naveen at reception thank you very much 😃😃😃😃
