We visited to Ramada hotel at Colombo for the dinner buffet on 2026.07.11 Saturday with my family. Foods were good..our Dinner make more special by suharsha at the hopper station with really good testy hoppers. And his service was very very nice. Superb........ Suharsha tolk with very friendly and great. Chef suharsha thank you for your lovely support and smile.

Very disappointed with the high tea booking experience at Ramada. From the beginning, there was no proper coordination between the reservation team and the staff. We had to repeatedly contact them to confirm our reservation, but each time we received different information regarding the booking details. The communication was very confusing, and even the final bill amount was changed multiple times. The amount we were asked to pay was different from what we were initially informed. This created unnecessary stress and disappointment on what should have been an enjoyable experience. For a reputed hotel like Ramada, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, organization, and customer care. A proper reservation system and better communication between departments are essential to provide a good guest experience. Unfortunately, due to this poor coordination and lack of transparency, we were extremely disappointed with the service. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving these issues for future guests.

Visited Ramada by Wyndham for lunch and ordered the chicken thali. This was actually a special offer they run once in a while. The food itself was not the best I’ve had—I’ve definitely tasted better thalis elsewhere—but for the price, it was worth it. What really stood out was the beautiful ambience and the calm, relaxing vibe of the place, which made the overall experience enjoyable. If you happen to come across this offer, it’s definitely worth giving it a try.

We have been to so many Brunch Buffets, this was the one of the worst of the lot. Our daughter came for a vacation and we took her last Sunday the 21.06.2026. The food is not to the expected standard. Even the water they didn't serve. That too we had to request and wait for ages to come. Before we are done they are arranging for the high tea. We had a very good stay here. The room and the outdoor bar area were excellent. The service provided by the staff was superb. Special mention to Sachini at the front desk, who was very supportive and helpful from booking to the check-in process. She did a great job.

Niveditha made our stay absolutely wonderful! She was kind, friendly, and always ready to assist us with anything we needed. Her warm hospitality and genuine care made us feel truly valued as guests.”

Just returned home after one of the worst dining experiences at Ramada. We were charged 8,500Rs per adult, and 4,500Rs for my child who is under 5 years old—half the adult price. This was justified by calling it an “international buffet,” but I honestly don’t understand what was international about it. The main courses were extremely limited—seafood rice, vegetable noodles, and a few curries and vegetables. That’s it. While there were some starters and desserts, the overall variety was far less compared to other hotels charging similar prices. It was absolutely not worth the money. What disappointed me the most was the kids’ experience. My children asked for ice cream, and it was completely melted—watery and impossible to even scoop. For a hotel of this standard, this is unacceptable. Very poor value for money and a huge letdown overall. I sincerely hope Ramada management takes this feedback seriously and improves their quality and pricing justification.

A huge thank you to Sachini Fernando at Ramada Colombo for making our honeymoon stay (June 14–16) so incredibly special! Her outstanding hospitality and warm service added a wonderful touch to our celebration. She truly goes the extra mile for guests. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in a good location. It's in close proximity to Galle face green, One Galle face, and the Port City. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of Eastern and Western dishes. We loved the live stations (eggs, hoppers, dosa, vadas, idli, French toast, etc). Pool was clean and well maintained. The room was clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Two nights and no major complaints. All in all a very enjoyable stay. The Dunthel Bath Set Menu was a perfect lunch, but I don't recommend the seafood Laksa.

Really had a bad experience with the Eid Sawan from Al Hambra Restaurant.We pre-ordered a sawan for the next day (Eid) and informed them in advance that we would come to collect it around 11:00 AM. We arrived at 11:30 AM sharp, but somehow our order had been missed and was not prepared. No one informed us properly, and the bakery cashier staffs did not seem to care about our urgency. We had already paid earlier and clearly informed the pickup time, but still we had to wait around 1½ hours to get the sawan. We only received the food at 1:00 PM. Really disappointed with the service, especially on such an important day. Expected much better from a place like this.

I went to the dinner buffet (15/11).. For positive points: the food is delicious and tasty... I really like the hope station and the Chinese corner... The staff was rellay friendly and attentive (the person who served us and the hopper station chef). For negative points: the spread was really thin and not worth for 6k pp.... The filling takes forever (outside food, some deserts and meat items), really need to make it more efficient and not to make people waiting. Overall 'good taste with a thin spread'

I recently visited the Ramada Hotel high tea buffet with a friend. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Most of the food did not seem fresh. Items like the parata/egg roti were very hard and tough, almost impossible to cut, which made us feel they were not freshly prepared. Many dishes were very dry, and the overall variety was quite limited. The desserts were good, but apart from that, the food quality did not meet expectations. Considering the total bill was LKR 6,102 for two people, it was definitely not worth the money. We expected better quality and freshness from a hotel like Ramada. I hope the management will look into improving the food quality and variety in the future.

Nice place with good amenities. Food were too notch and they provided a good service as well. Obviously being in the very heart of Colombo the parking is not that great and spacious. And the hotel is more like a city hotel tbh.

Updated: This was actually our second stay at Ramada by Wyndham Colombo. Our previous visit was good, which is why we decided to book the same hotel again. Unfortunately, this time the experience was very disappointing. 😔 We booked a Deluxe Room with City View and a Super King Size Bed, 🍽️ including breakfast and dinner 🛏️. However, when we arrived, we were given a Deluxe Twin Bed Room, which is a completely different and cheaper room type than what we had reserved. When we contacted reception, they informed us that the king bed city view room was not available and even suggested that housekeeping could push the two twin beds together to make it like a king bed. This was frustrating because we specifically paid for the higher room category. ❌ Later, both the booking platform and the hotel confirmed that this happened due to a technical error, and they did provide a partial refund. While I appreciate that they eventually acknowledged the issue 👍, the process was still disappointing because we had to file complaints and wait about two days for responses from both the hotel and the booking platform. ⏳ Because of this experience, I would recommend that if you book a room here, make sure to contact the hotel and reconfirm your exact room type and details, especially if you are booking through a third-party platform. It’s also a good idea to leave a remark for reception after making the reservation to avoid similar situations. 📩 I really hope the hotel improves its booking coordination so other guests don’t face the same issue in the future. ⚠️

Good breakfast. Good location to visit Galle Face, seafront and Lotus Tower. Watch out for scammers who pretend to work at your hotel and give you off to a TukTuk driver who takes you to a kick back jeweller and then wants 5/6 times the correct fare to take you home.

Our team recently went to Ramada by Wyndham Colombo for the dinner buffet and had a lovely experience. The food was very good with a nice variety of dishes, and everything was well prepared. The space is beautiful and comfortable, which made it perfect for a team dinner. The staff were also very helpful and attentive throughout the evening. Overall, it was a great place for a relaxed team dinner outing.

Ordered Lunch ( Chicken Shalik and Mutton biriyani), but UTTER DISSAPOINTMENT. 1) Requested to deliver the earliest atleast by 11am, as elderly people at home. But they casually sending via pick me by 1:45pm. Multiple calls made, but no one will answer. 2) Received only Rice without any curries or dessert. I had to call back to check and casually replying, we forgot. Such a cheap behavior for a star hotel. Totally unacceptable and it is a BIG SHAME on your starred hotel. 3) Pot Biriyani is basically flavored rice with few pieces of Chicken on Top. BETTER WATCH YOUTUBE TUTORIALS ON HOW TO MAKE BIRIYANI. Definitely IT IS DAY TIME ROBBERY, comparing you too similarly starred hotels. BETTER AVOID FOR ONLINE ORDERS AT ANY COST. They don’t serve food, THEY SERVE BLOOD PRESSURE RUINING YOUR GOOD DAY.
