I visited recently, and it felt a bit too crowded 🚶. The timing wasn't ideal for me either, as things seemed to run a little late ⏳. It's a decent place overall, but those aspects affected my experience 🤷.

Full fledged metro station in greenline and the interchange for yellowline . Huge infrastructure with all possible facilities like washroom, ticket counter, atm , escalator etc .

RV Road is now the "Majestic of the South." It’s where the established Green Line (Nagasandra to Silk Institute) meets the brand-new Yellow Line (RV Road to Bommasandra/Electronic City). For you, this is a massive win. You can now hop on at RV Road and reach Electronic City Phase 2 or Huskur Road in about 30–35 minutes, completely bypassing the soul-crushing traffic of Silk Board and the Hosur Road flyover.It links the old-world charm of Jayanagar and Basavanagudi directly to the high-tech corridor. In real estate terms, this interchange has made South Bangalore properties even more "commute-proof"Unlike the long walks at some interchanges (like Majestic), the transfer at RV Road is relatively efficient. The station features four platforms to accommodate both lines.

The schedule is poorly coordinated. As soon as the Yellow Line arrives at RV the green Line departs with no buffer time which forces commuters to rush.

Yellow line is very well maintained and same can be seen comparing against green line in its junction, number of escalators are more compared to stairs, so even if we think of using stairs ease of finding escalator is more than stairs.

Yellow line starts from here for bommasandra. Metro starts from 6 in weekdays and 7 at weekends. From 6 to 7 every 20 minutes Then every 10 minutes. From 1 pm to 4 pm it ranges between 15 to 20 minutes. After 5 pm every 10 minutes we will get the metro. Its a connection between yellow and green metro. Attached timings

This station serves as an interchange between the Yellow Line and the Green Line. It tends to stay crowded, especially during peak hours, due to the limited number of trains currently operating on the Yellow Line. However, this issue is expected to ease once more metro rakes become operational on the yellow line. The staff are doing a commendable job in managing the crowd. On the Yellow Line, the first compartment is reserved for ladies. Lift service is available, and overall, the station is clean and well-maintained.

The new Yellow Line interchange here is a big upgrade for connectivity , makes switching lines much easier. The station is kept clean and tidy; platforms and concourse areas are well maintained, and you can see staff making sure things stay that way. Washrooms are small for an interchange of this size , they’re clean, but during peak hours there’s often a queue. The drinking water tank was empty when I visited, which is disappointing, especially in hot weather. Crowding has definitely increased since the new line opened, and at rush hour it can feel packed. That said, the staff manage the flow of people really well, guiding commuters and keeping things organized at the gates. Overall, great connectivity and good hygiene, just needs bigger washrooms and a reliable drinking water facility.

RV Road Metro Station is the interchange station connecting the Green and Yellow metro lines. It serves as a key transit point where commuters can switch between the two lines to reach their destinations. The station is very spacious and well-designed to handle large passenger crowds efficiently.

This metro station is well-maintained, clean, and well-organized. Since it is an interchange station connected to the Yellow Line, it tends to be very crowded, especially during peak hours. Despite the heavy footfall, the station management does a good job of maintaining cleanliness and ensuring smooth movement of passengers. The signage is clear, and connectivity to different lines makes commuting very convenient. A busy but efficient metro station that plays an important role in Bengaluru's public transport network.

Nice station....huge rush. Still managed well. Just that Electronic city metro duration is too less, hence when one train arrives there will be huge rush

This station can be renamed as Monneky Station, since u will catch monkeys jumping in platform 1 in the morning, its nice to watch monekys jumping here and there. Good vibes

RV Road Metro station, currently on the Green Line, will soon connect with the new Yellow Line. The station is currently clean and well-maintained with less crowd which may change after the yellow line starts.

One of the good, but can be better when Bommasandra Train lands at close to next platform, this creating missing trains regularly towards Tunakauru side. Still not sure what is the thought process behind it. Hardly 10 steps to travel for one platform & we are doing circus here

The station was clean and very well maintained, mainly this station comes under the green line and also the yellow line metro will start from this station. Free Drinking Water 🚰✅ Restrooms 🚻 ✅ Accebilty ♿✅

I had a great experience at Rashtriya Vidyalaya Road Metro Station. The newly introduced Yellow Line is a fantastic addition to the city’s transport system. It has significantly helped in reducing traffic congestion from RV Road all the way to Bommasandra, making daily travel much smoother. The technology used in the Yellow Line feels more advanced compared to the Green and Purple Lines, which really improves the overall travel experience. The connectivity between RV Road Metro Station and other routes is seamless, and the station itself is well-structured and easy to navigate. Overall, I truly enjoyed traveling on the Yellow Line. It’s a big step forward for Bengaluru’s metro network!
