The Realm Resort, Coonoor

Had an amazing stay at this resort! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. And the hospitality services was very excellent. food was delicious and the view was beautiful. Perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends. Highly They were responding on time and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The staff was polite, helpful, and always available whenever needed. Really happy with the overall experience!!

This place is amazing! If you're looking for something different, with fewer people and more nature, you should definitely pick this spot. The cottages totally reminded me of homes you'd find in the hills. And the food? So good! They have a small menu, but if you ask, they'll whip up extra stuff for you, and it's totally worth it because it's super tasty and made with fresh veggies. There are farms nearby, but you can't go in. Lots of cool viewpoints are close by too, but you'll need to get permission first. You can even grab a bike or some cricket gear. On your way there, you'll see the Piloor dam and Vellingiri hills. All in all, it was a really memorable stay.

Very calm resort away from the busy town. If you are someone who wants to spend some calm and peaceful time then this is the best one. They have a large open space for the kids to play. Nice and clean rooms. We had all 3 meals there. It was like home cooked food. Any thing other than the fixed menu can be ordered upfront. Morning walks or stroll will be amazing. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

Our stay in Coonoor was truly refreshing and memorable. Nestled amidst lush greenery and serene hills, the property offered breathtaking views and a peaceful escape from the city hustle. The weather was perfect, and waking up to the misty mornings was an experience in itself. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities in place. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, which made our stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights was the food – fresh, homely, and delicious. The overall ambiance of the place was calm and rejuvenating, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Coonoor. Looking forward to coming back again!

The Realm resort is the best discovery for us in our 3 times Ooty-Coonoor Trip. Spread over 3 acre (3 Bigha) land in the serene lap of Nilgiri hills; this is one of the best stays of my life. The price is also affordable and relatively justified. The behaviour of staffs (specially, guru and others) are very sweet and they all are cooperative. Only problem we faced is weak or no wifi! That's the only thing we faced problem with specially given the fact that the mobile towers here are very weak.

A wonderful resort in coonoor which is surely the best in whole niligiri district. Nature surrounding with tree breezing and birds singing it's surely a heaven on earth . Yummy food humble staffs and a great management people. Definitely a must visit place in lifetime

It’s a pleasant, quiet place to stay with clean, well‑kept rooms and network issues & low Wi‑Fi network. The owner and staff are friendly, and the food is tasty. The only downside we encountered was a faulty bathroom flush, but aside from that, it’s a great spot—especially if you’re looking to escape the traffic.

The view from this property is amazing-9/10 for that But some things that couldve been better- -I asked for a pool attached room since it was summer- i got one but it was unusable, empty n not maintained at all .It just wouldve been better if I knew it beforehand -The caretakers are polite but dont expect many food options for breakfast, they stick to the decided menu mostly -The rooms couldve been better maintained-like cleanliness, exhaust in the washroom, toiletries in the rooms, no activities or common areas for kids, one torn trampoline etc -My POC Nicholas was polite and make sure to follow the instructions shared by the POC while reaching the property(also, all restaurants and facilities are almost 40 mins away so be mindful of that)

A Hidden Gem Amidst Nature – Truly a WOW Experience! This place is an absolute gem! Located far away from the crowd, it offers peace, fresh air, and breathtaking views as you drive through the tea estate to reach the property. The location itself is stunning—definitely worth the drive! The rooms were extraordinary, beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Bathrooms were neat, clean, and hygienic, which added to the overall pleasant experience. A big bonus was the complimentary dinner and breakfast, both of which were extremely tasty and well-prepared—a delightful surprise that truly exceeded expectations. The service staff deserves a special mention. Every single person was polite, humble, and incredibly helpful. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. The spacious open lawn with its panoramic views was one of the highlights of the property. It’s a perfect space to relax, unwind, and spend time with your loved ones while soaking in the scenery. This is a perfect getaway for both families and friends. Although the rates are slightly on the higher side, they are justified considering the quality of the facilities, food, and overall experience. Location and food – simply awesome! I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back again.

The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. The resort is in a remote location surrounded by tea estates. The resort is serene and peaceful. The food was amazing as well. Guru took great care of me during my visit. Thankful for their morning Trek to explore the nearby areas. The route to reach the resort will be tricky and will be a pleasant experience riding through lashes of green.

Amazing resort located in a sceanic and calm place. Suits well for family and friends. Excellent food and service. No shops near by atleast for 5-10 kms, so plan and buy enough snacks before u check in. Its a very beautiful resort n with amazing 360 degree mountain view.

It's a beautiful place sarronded by tea estates. you can also spot some bison's near the resort. Tasty food, friendly staff.

had a wonderful stay at The Realm Resort in Coonoor. The place is beautifully maintained, nestled amidst tea gardens with breathtaking views all around. The rooms are spotless and very well kept, making the stay extremely comfortable. A special mention to Guru, the main manager and the main guy of the resort, who truly makes the experience memorable. He is available from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., always with a smile and a helping hand. From guiding us on where to roam, to ensuring every little detail is taken care of, Guru goes out of his way to please the guests. His warmth and dedication reflect in every aspect of the hospitality. The resort offers cycles to ride around the tea gardens, which was one of the most soothing and refreshing experiences during the stay. We also loved watching the wild bisons around the area—it felt so close to nature. The nearby River Dhara adds to the charm and serenity of the location. And not to forget, the food is simply awesome—fresh, tasty, and served with genuine care. You can feel that the team, especially Guru, serves from the heart. Overall, The Realm Resort is the perfect blend of comfort, natural beauty, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Coonoor!

We were a group of 16 adults and 10 kids, and we had booked the entire property — and it turned out to be one of the most memorable stays we've ever had! Guru and his team took incredible care of us throughout the trip. From 7 AM to 10 PM, they were tirelessly managing everything, especially in the kitchen. What truly stood out was that we never heard a single "no" to any of our requests — something very rare these days. The food was absolutely amazing, and their hospitality was top-notch. We kept placing back-to-back food orders, yet Guru and his team were always quick, attentive, and welcoming — constantly moving between rooms, kitchen, and dining, making sure everyone was comfortable and happy. I would confidently give them 100% for their service and effort. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Thank you so much to The Realm team! We will definitely be coming back again.

It was an amazing experience. Been here with my family and everybody enjoyed the stay here. It's so far from the city. It's Secluded and such a quiet place to be amongst the Tea estate. Staffs are really professional and very good services provided. It has a river stream nearby at walking distance. Room facilities are great. At night, they have bonfire to enjoy with family & friends. The Two things I had issues with is : 1. It's a one way road from the diversion you take from Main road to the resort. Hence make sure to contact the resort to know about any block u might face. 2. The WiFi. They got wifi as on Data connection. Hence once u use to the required amount for a day, U r left with the T.V connection.

Beautiful outdoor area,stay was so close to nature and calm, staff were so kind ,food is yummy,view from room is good ,we can watch sunrise from our room staff hospitality is nice 😍,if u want to visit off beat stay in conoor its a must visit place.
