Very poor management. 🚫The building management keeps saying the owner refuses to spend money on repairs or maintenance, claiming “tenants leave, others will come with higher rent.” I have been living in a building under their management (AL Falah district tower) for three years, and unfortunately, the maintenance and cleanliness have gone downhill severely over the past year. Requests for maintenance take weeks or even a month to get any response — sometimes no one comes at all. The AC and ventilators in the common areas are often switched off, leaving the hallways hot, smelly, and humid — which increases humidity inside the apartments as well. We started seeing cockroaches appearing and spreading across floors, elevators, and even apartments. The garbage rooms are constantly flooded with water , making it impossible for residents to throw garbage in the chute without stepping in dirty water. Most residents leave the garbage on the floor instead. The cleaning team is rarely seen. Once, I left a small paper on the corridor floor for 10 days — it stayed there untouched. When cleaners are present, they refuse to dry the garbage room or clean properly, saying it’s not their responsibility. Each one keeps blaming another department, and the problem never gets solved. The maintenance team checked the tap and said it’s fine, while cleaners claim it’s broken and reported — the issue is still ongoing. As a result, cockroaches and bad smells have worsened daily. The parking area has almost all lights burnt out except for two. The sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room have been out of service for over a year and never repaired. Elevator panels have broken buttons that remain unrepaired for years. In the gym, broken machines are never fixed. Around the swimming pool, tiles are broken and never replaced — one girl was injured badly and had to get stitches on her face. The pool is never cleaned or disinfected daily as it should be. The children’s pool water turns green before they decide to change it, and the adults’ pool has dark residues around the edges. The water is cloudy and unfiltered. Pool furniture is broken, cushions are missing, and the floor around is not mopped or sanitized. The building façade and windows haven’t been cleaned for over a year. Management announced that external cleaning would start on September 22, but today is October 5, and no cleaning has started. In my apartment, I have had a severe humidity and mold problem for months (with water leaking from one wall and ceiling area). The maintenance team has ignored it despite repeated complaints — it’s now a direct health risk to me and my family. We, along with many neighbors, have reported all these issues dozens of times.we even complained at municipality. 🚫The building management keeps saying the owner refuses to spend money on repairs or maintenance, claiming “tenants leave, others will come with higher rent.” This building urgently needs proper management, regular cleaning, pest control, and serious maintenance. It used to be a good place to live, but it has become unsafe, unhygienic, and poorly managed. 🚫 I do not recommend renting here until major maintenance and management changes are made.
