Detailed and honest feedback.
Check up visits:
The doctor in the visit was comforting and honest, and caring.
Day of surgery:
First imperission is good, good parking area, the rooms are nice, facilities looks clean and we are operating with Dr. Abeer Abdulshakoor.
The nurse asked me to wait infront of the OR room for the person am accompying for the doctor to come in 10 minutes to talk to her, then a doctor came and asked me why are u waiting here which is good that they care about privacy but bad because the nurse told me to wait for the Dr. To talk to her.
I saw a Doctor that came and went into the OR room and wasn't sure if it's her or not, didn't talk to me even though I was waiting so I wasn't sure and I was thinking js there a mis communication from the nurse ( which is a good person ) since i was waiting to talk to her as the nurse informed me to wait and am worried about the person am accompying and i need to know when the surgery will finish and if the doctor was actually informed em waiting outside the OR room.
The Philippines guy in OR didn't seem very friendly, or maybe he was busy. I said hi, but he didn't reply.
Dr./Mr. Mohammed alsamel was very cooperative he directed me to talk to the nurse to ensure that I speak to the doctor before the surgery starts as I am still waiting outside. I'm not sure if it has already started or not.
I had to go to speak to nurse Ashna she comforted me and told me, Dr. Abeer didn't come yet to the OR room.
Dr. mohammed alsamel, checked on me again he was very kind as I was sitting worried and waiting for Dr.Abeer.
I have been waiting for 30 minutes now no one came to talk to me, I decided to leave and will check later with my companion. ( feeling sad didn't actually had the chance to speak to the doctor after all this effort and informing everyone ) and it would be not good if they started to operate without actually talking to the worried companion.
20 minutes after leaving Dr.Abeer personally called me and I really appreciated how professional she is and I felt comfortable, Thank you Doctor Aber.
I connected again with the admin, to check she informed me that the operation is on going and once it's done we will let you know.
I waited and didn't receive a call and went by myself when I arrived unfortunately I found my spouse already in the room since 30 minutes.
So the administrative communication is not that good.
The operation I think took 2.5 hours.
Initially, the admission process needs to be enhanced where the companion should wait and to actually inform him clearly what to do and what will happen and when the Doctor will come. ( Better Communication )
Overall experience is 4/5 due to administrative things and communication, but what matters the most is post the surgery, care, and results.
I will update the post later. With the results.
