One of the best universities in Canada! I am currently pursuing my MSc in Data Science here, and the experience has been exceptional. The faculty is highly knowledgeable, the campus is well-equipped, and the community is incredibly supportive. A great place to learn, grow, and prepare for a successful future!

A good university which looks and feels really modern, especially in the newer built areas. The new dorms are great for students and there are good underground paths in some areas for the height of winter. It’s close to the airport and the city. Also it’s great that it is along the Lake if you want to get out for a run.

Looks like a nice place to study. I like the open areas. I also like that you can get around to almost everywhere without going outside when the weather is bad.

呆在里大两年零一个月 宿舍从P塔住到CW 环境很舒适 床很软 阳光很好 一切都非常齐全 校园内部还有一块菜地 里面有葡萄（很酸）大葱 等一些蔬果 秋天的校园是最美的 就像童话世界一般 但里贾纳是一个很小的城市 如果要来里大上学 也要做好心理准备 小地方并不好毕业 并且压分压的比较狠 除了学术方面 里大真的无可挑剔 （图片包含了春夏秋冬）

URegina is the 2nd in Saskatchewan and 25th largest university in Canada, with a head count of approx 11,500 regular students (over 80% being undergraduate) and 500 faculty members. Attained status of university in 1974, with start as Methodist High School in 1911. Beautifully located along Wascana Lake, its main campus has 10 faculties and various schools/ centres. The city campus is located on College Avenue. It's good to see research being conducted in many disciplines, including sciences and engineering, with federal/ NSERC grants. Topics likely to yield potential royalties should be encouraged. The fee structure is reasonable. With the rising cost of living/ housing in Regina, the fees of international students need not be increased; rather, it should be capitalised to increase intake. Liked Experiential Placement, co-operative education initiatives / university students council concept. However, as a consultant, I suggest addressing core issues like " market positioning," " confusions," and " duplication of work," etc. at the university. Happy 50th Anniversary (2024) in advance!

Love this place great equipment, wonderful programs, the best quality of proffessionals. The manager of cleaning needs to be address though. The place is absolutely filthy. Like now a bit of dust here and there. Nope filth....dist balls that look like dead rats. The track has so much dirt on it that the expensive material has a pebble ingrain look. Behind every equipment is piles of gravel and hand sized dust balls. The exercise balls turn your rag black. The hand weights are never cleaned. It need to be shut down and properly cleaned at least once a week. Its embarrassing to think our fantastic university is so disgustingly dirty. We have one of the cleanest nicest park areas and our city has worked so hard to be better. Come on university start hiring people that work to clean. A job is not a social place its where you work to earn money not to do homework or hook up or train for you sport of choice. There is never enought towels or cleaning bottles for pwople to use either. Even the walls in the hallway or sitting on a bench. Even the Parliament buildings do super cleaning. Hire a company, tender it out. You dont need new equipment just clean the place. Otherwise fantastic place

There are much better, cheaper, nicer, happier, friendlier, more knowledgeable, and safer places to go. But if your stuck here in Regina like I am, at least it has some nice views.

I think a lot of things need to be reevaluated at this university, but as we all know, change does not happen overnight. Focusing on the positives, over the past eleven years the university has been going through some kind of evolution. There has been a lot of projects completed. The new residence towers, underground parkade and the new traffic signs took a while to build but they still got built. UofR renovated parking lots, and updated the university signs. They also removed the only on campus computer store probably because of operational costs. A lot of programs got upgraded and the UofR is still working on ways to improve campus life. Despite getting hit with COVID-19 the university still found a way to deliver classes to the students who were willing to learn. Overall the UofR is doing a good job, but there is still room for improvement much like any other university. On the student side of things, the UofR has had an influx in entitled spoiled brats attending school thinking they own the place just because they pay school fees. Not sure why but these students are always complaining about something! There is no self accountability it’s always some professors fault. It’s a miracle the professors do not kick some of the students out. On the other hand, there are those hard working students who diligently study and participate in class. I am sure the university faculty appreciates them despite the complaining. A lot of students complain about how hard university is, but then they are the first ones to procrastinate and not prepare for any classes. They also prefer to study last minute for exams, then when they fail they blame everyone else but themselves……….. you all should do better!

It is good and popular university in Saskatchewan, Canada with great environment. Lots of students all over the world come to study here...

A welcoming university with competent professors and friendly staff. The best place one can be for making a life.

Love performing here and visiting on occassion. Gives me a feel of photography/ inspiration. Went here for Toastmasters and really got educated. Also has food court cafes and even an awesome bar restaurant called the Owl with lots of events all the time. Nice feel as if everyone welcome. Good outlet for All cultures and walks of life. Not supportive of students with disabilities. Poor treatment overall. Not one staff member has been easy to talk to. I’d do anything to just get my money and time back and give it to an educational institution that actually wants to be supportive.

I like coming here to sit around, drink coffee, study, and stroll around the campus.

This university is a complete scam. Don’t even think about coming here because you will only waste your money and time. Instead of getting real education, you’ll just be thrown around like a number. If you want to save yourself from regret, go to another university that actually cares about students. This place is the worst decision you can make. They take huge fees but don’t teach you properly. Professors don’t explain anything, just push you through exams so they can get their money. If you fail, don’t expect any help — they’ll still demand full fees with zero support. It’s like paying to fail on purpose. Total disrespect to students and their hard work. Racism here is real and obvious, especially from the professors. They treat international students differently and often unfairly. You feel unwanted, ignored, and sometimes humiliated just because of where you come from. This place does not value diversity or respect, it’s mentally draining to study here.

This school is a scam. I wasn’t even accepted for a week before taking my name off the list for another student to take my place. (Back in 2021) Now 4 years later and randomly costing me $3000 and no one will answer why or answer any emails. Tell me how a (respectable) institution charges someone $3000 4 years later for not even going to their school? Now ruining my credit and finances because they don’t already get enough money from the thousands that DO go here every year

Una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido en la vida es estudiar en esta universidad, no solo por qué puedes aprender de lo que te enseñan, aprenderás más de las personas que están a tu alrededor, hay cientos de personas de diferentes países estudiando contigo, puedes aprender de su cultura y de su forma de ser, además está escuela cuenta con la opción de hospedarte dentro de las instalaciones, tiene un centro de comida dónde puedes comprar un plan de comida o bien puedes seleccionar entre comer pizza, hamburguesas, alitas, postres o comida internacional. Tiene gimnasio, aulas equipadas y cómodas, además de transporte para moverte dentro de la ciudad que pasa justo frente a la Universidad. Canadá es una gran opción para desarrollarte como persona y aprender de los demás, conocer gente y hacer amigos de todo el mundo. En cuanto a la educación, desde mi perspectiva llevan un sistema muy light, comparado con el de mi país, sin embargo creo que es bueno enfocarte en las materias importantes y no tener materias de relleno, en México por lo regular llevamos de 7 a 9 clases por semestre, en cambio ellos llevan en su mayoría 4 materias, además la universidad se preocupa mucho por su bienestar y por su salud mental, dándoles opciones de spa, gimnasio, zonas de relajación, etc. Algo que en mi país no sucede.

This university is helpless to students and after your money that’s it. They don’t think about their students at all. The services like advising is very poor like you have to beg to meet advisor even after paying thousands of dollars.
