From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. I received a very warm welcome and throughout my stay every member of staff was friendly, professional and genuinely caring. What really stood out was how staff would always stop to say hello whenever you passed them and were consistently willing to help with anything you needed. My room was immaculate, spacious and equipped with everything required for a comfortable stay. The balcony was a great size and offered the most perfect view, making it a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The facilities were excellent, particularly the pool and private beach, both of which were beautifully maintained and provided a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel’s focus on wellbeing and relaxation is evident in every aspect of the guest experience. What made my stay even more memorable was that I was celebrating my birthday. The hotel went above and beyond by leaving a lovely surprise in my room, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. It was also wonderful to receive birthday wishes from the staff, which made the occasion feel extra special. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The level of service is truly beyond five stars and the staff are an absolute credit to the property. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with outstanding hospitality, this is the perfect choice. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning in the near future.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and 3 days and had a truly enjoyable experience. The service was exceptional, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. I would especially like to recognize Tehelma from the restaurant and Mr. Amjad for their outstanding hospitality. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Their professionalism and genuine care made my stay even more memorable. A big thank you to the entire team for making me feel so welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

It was such a great experience. We were celebrating our baby's first anniversary and when we mentioned that to the front desk they ensured we had balloons and a ted bear waiting for her in her room. It was such an wonderful details and it made our day. The hotel is amazing. The room was clean and comfortable, the swimming pool was warm, the amenities around the hotel were also impressive. The food was also great and all the staff incredibly kind. We will definitely return to spend more days there in the future.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staffs and everyone were so kind and welcoming and the setting of the whole hotel was beautiful especially in the dining room where there would be musicians who made it so much better and the food was good and filling , thanks to all the chefs and service people who came and helped us whenever we needed! Their hardwork is appreciated and I respect them a lot💕 the rooms were great and the swimming area was good and there is separate for kids and the beach also was relaxing. Overall the stay was good for me as someone who was burned out from school etc, and once again thank u to the staff members and everyone for their service 💕!!

We booked this hotel expecting a peaceful retreat experience, but unfortunately it was anything but relaxing. One of the biggest issues is that the property markets itself as a retreat while also attracting many families with young children. During our stay, the main pool (too small) was crowded with children screaming and splashing, despite there being a dedicated kids’ area. The separation between family and quiet spaces was not enforced, making it very difficult to relax. The beach was advertised as non-smoking, yet guests were smoking there without any intervention from staff. The food also did not align with the wellness or retreat concept. Healthy options were very limited, and overall the dining experience felt inconsistent with the image the hotel promotes. We also experienced an overcharge at the spa. We only noticed after payment when we checked the spa menu and realized the amount charged did not match the published prices. The room itself had several issues. The air conditioning was difficult to regulate, alternating between uncomfortably cold and too warm, and the shower leaked water onto the bathroom floor. Ultimately, we were so dissatisfied with the atmosphere that on our second day we paid for a day pass at a nearby hotel just to find a peaceful pool environment. A retreat should provide a calm and restorative experience. There is nothing inherently wrong with being a family-friendly hotel, but if a property chooses to market itself as a retreat, it needs to ensure that guests seeking tranquility can genuinely find it. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

Very disappointing experience. I booked a staycation at Retreat Hotel expecting a relaxing and enjoyable stay, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. The service was extremely poor. I requested water for my room and had to wait more than 2.5 hours despite calling three separate times. This level of service is simply unacceptable for a hotel that promotes itself as a wellness and relaxation destination. The food was also very disappointing. We paid extra for meal packages, including breakfast and lunch, yet the quality and overall experience did not justify the additional cost. The staff appeared unmotivated and uninterested in helping guests. In particular, the lady working in the lounge was not professional in her communication and lacked the level of hospitality expected in a hotel environment. Instead of feeling relaxed, we felt frustrated throughout our stay and eventually decided to check out early, despite having already paid for the remaining meals. I have stayed in many hotels across Dubai and internationally, and it is very rare for me to leave a negative review. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations. Significant improvements in customer service, staff training, and guest experience are needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Retreat The Palm during the Eid holidays. Despite the resort being very busy with the festive crowds, the experience was outstanding from start to finish. A special thank you to Ms. Bassma, Front Office Manager, who made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail ensured that my family and I felt valued throughout our stay. My children thoroughly enjoyed their time at the resort, and the entire team went above and beyond to make our family experience memorable. The service was delivered with genuine care, kindness, and a level of hospitality that is increasingly rare to find. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Jason Hollingworth, Executive Assistant Manager, for his thoughtful welcome message and the gracious amenities arranged for our stay. His kind gesture added a personal touch that made us feel truly appreciated as guests and reflected the resort's commitment to exceptional hospitality. As a Vice President of Finance in the hospitality industry, I am accustomed to evaluating service standards and guest experiences. I understand what good service looks like, and I can confidently say that the service provided by Bassma, Jason, and their teams was exceptional. We had a truly wonderful stay at The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The seafood dinner buffet was outstanding, with excellent quality and variety, and the breakfast spread was huge, offering something for everyone. Our room was very cozy, clean, and relaxing, making it a perfect retreat for our family. A special thanks to the Housekeeping team, especially Deepak and Maria, for maintaining exceptional cleanliness throughout our stay. At Vibe, Ahmed provided great service, and Chef Nizam at the live seafood grilling counter impressed us with both his food and interaction. The sweet and welcoming hostess Caroline made dining even more pleasant. The Front Office team deserves special appreciation — Abhishek, Widad, Chris, Zia, and Mohandas were all warm, professional, and extremely helpful. Our daughter had a lovely time at the Kids Club, thanks to Michelle, and our toddler especially enjoyed the pool, which was very family-friendly. Most importantly, thank you to the entire team for making my wife’s birthday so special with beautiful celebrations and a lovely surprise room setup. These thoughtful gestures truly touched us. Overall, we are very happy and grateful for this memorable stay and would highly recommend The Retreat Palm Dubai to families and couples looking for a relaxing and joyful experience. 🌴✨

The hotel is nice in general. Though it is not made clear its a non alcoholic, but I strongly suggest that you do introduce as you are limiting choices, if a guest does not want to consume its their choice. Smoking areas beach side, there I would split one side of the beach smoking allowed, the other not, again provide choice. Beach is not cleaned enough, we find rubbish from days ago still there. Beach swimming area, not sure why you put that perimeter, does not allow water to clean itself, so many guests opt to swim in the C central hotel side. Breakfast pretty good, but can get chaotic. Dinner few nights it was a disaster, at time food finished and replacement was not done quick enough, forcing guests to pick what is available with frustration and wait for dishes to be replenished. Staff were nice and helpful, but you do not have enough for many occasions, we saw some of them running up and down. We stayed for 6 nights, I think we were the only ones who stayed that long, but at check in I requested complimentary upgrade to sea view, this was denied and instead charge aed200/night which is extortion. Being an ALLACCOR member and long stay guest, the management are short sited and just want to make a quick buck. This was dissapointing. I am afraid we shall not return. There are numerous other hotels who are much more guest oriented.

The hotel is a smoking free hotel, it is healthy and the concept is staying away from the busy city life. The hotel also has Rayya wellness to help create you a program to retreat from the stress of busy life. Amgad (the restaurant manager) is always smiling and friendly, he makes you feel welcome. He is also very generous and genuinely cares for the visitors. The trainers Matarr and Raza are professionals and help you improve in every aspect you want to. Overall, this is an amazing hotel is you want something to rest your mind and relax, and it is a fairly boutique hotel which gives easy transport inside the hotel between the rooms, the pool and the facilities.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel during our vacation. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable throughout our stay. A special thank you to the reservation and reception teams for their professionalism, kindness, and warm hospitality from the moment we arrived. The restaurant was also excellent, with a great variety of delicious food options. What truly stood out was how attentive and caring the entire restaurant staff was. The restaurant manager Amgad is so active and personally walked around during dinner checking every table to make sure all guests were happy and comfortable — a level of care that made the experience even more special. And Chef Arafa What really stood out was the chef’s kindness, professionalism, and attention to every detail. You can truly feel the passion and care put into every dish . Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to come back again!

I Choosed retreat for my Valentine Dinner with my wife. And we both loved @Vibe. Foods were amazing. Our Table was set beautifully. And i am very thankful for the bouquet of Rose for us. it made my wife very happy. Desserts were amazing. Big Shout out to Caroline for the amazing assistant from beggining to the end of our dine in. She has amazing smile. And Special thanks to each and every staff member who worked hard to made that night possible. You guys deserves more credit than anyone. We recently stayed at The Retreat for my partners 30th birthday. The staff very kindly left a happy birthday message and complimentary cake in our room on arrival which made it even more special! The room was incredibly spacious, bed comfortable and everything you could possibly need. The room was clean and a big thanks to Ram from housekeeping who was always on hand for anything we needed. The breakfast was lovely with a large selection, and we ate on the private beach twice during our stay. I would recommend the club sandwich, it was delicious. All staff were professional and friendly There was construction on to which our balcony faced but it did not bother us. The noise was minimal and didn’t have a negative impact on our stay. Overall would definitely recommend staying at The Retreat.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and was completely satisfied. I would especially like to highlight Isaac from Security – he is extremely kind, professional, and does his job very well. He always makes guests feel safe and welcome. I would also like to praise Cayla from Housekeeping. She does an excellent job, everything is always clean and well maintained, and I am always very satisfied with her work. Both of them are very polite, helpful, and courteous, which truly made my stay more enjoyable. Thank you to the wonderful team – I would be happy to return!

I stayed at The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel this week before and during Eid, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The atmosphere was far from the “retreat” and calm staycation it is meant to be. There were many noisy guests, and families with weird behavior and children were even allowed to play football in the lobby, which completely disrupted the relaxing environment. The restaurant experience was also poor. Staff behavior felt unprofessional at times, 3 people checking your hotel room while you’ve been allowed entrance to restaurant and during meal in a very rude manner (Asian lady). My order by the beach was delivered incorrectly and significantly delayed, when I raised the issue, the restaurant manager casually suggested I change the drink, lol which I did not accept, especially after waiting while hungry after a swim. The most concerning issue was health-related. I developed a skin irritation on my upper arms and chest (red big bumps and itchiness) According to a pharmacist, it could be related to either a laundry issue or possible bed bug exposure. When I reported this to the hotel, the response felt very minimal—they only changed the bed linens and did not offer any further inspection, disinfection, or meaningful support. My skin is still irritated and I am now spending additional money on treatment. I am also an Accor Gold member, and unfortunately this level of service and response did not reflect the standards expected from a brand within this group. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations in terms of service, hygiene response, or maintaining a peaceful retreat environment.

The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel has truly impressed us, not only because of its beautiful facilities, but also because of the outstanding kindness and professionalism of the staff, the exquisite food, the perfect location, and the spectacular beach and views of Dubai Marina, Atlantis The Royal, and Atlantis The Palm. I would especially like to highlight the incredible joy and warmth that Miss Thelma spreads with her beautiful smile and endless kindness. Special thanks as well to manager Rawan for the excellent attention and to the lovely receptionist Miss Shiela for her friendliness. I would also like to mention Mr Mohammed for his kindness while offering delicious mango tea and chocolate nuts in the hotel lobby. Finally, I want to highlight the professionalism and wonderful service of Mr Emmanuel. Unfortunately, I cannot mention more names because I was unable to remember them all, but every single member of staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The food is absolutely spectacular. I have never stayed at a hotel where the food available throughout the day was consistently so delicious, varied, and of such high quality. My mother and I will always remember the wonderful fragrance of the hotel, the exceptional treatment from the staff, the delicious cuisine, and the perfectly maintained facilities. The retreat is not a place to relax and enjoy your stay. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel I would say more like 3 stars The beach is highly edited to make it look nicer then it is. 1.The beaches are man made which is fine but the sand is rougrh and full of rocks and the water is nasty. Most man made beaches they rake the water and have soft sand and due to this we couldn't swim only in the pool 2. They gave us a beautiful room but have two single beds and we have two kids, thank goodness we were able to push the beds together 3. The construction out side is loud and works all day and at 820 pm still working 4. The price for food is crazy expensive for the buffet lunch and supper and drinks non alcoholic are jot included that cost more 5. the price you pay per night the shampoo and conditioner shouldn't be 2 in 1 and the body wash and hand soap should not be the same thing. 6. The child play room is small and over crowded. In this big hotel they could have made it bigger or changed the room to a bigger area. 7. You can't use the mini fridge because they put over priced drinks inside and if you move anything they will probably charge you This was supposed to be a family stay cation but full of disappointment
