Friendly. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Applied for dtv here very easy. Got email online with date for interview. Had to post pone it for 1 day as was sick. They were great to work with.

Excellent experience at the embassy in Thailand. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the entire process. Waiting times were short, everything was well organized, and the overall atmosphere was calm and efficient. You really feel that the team is committed to providing good service. A smooth and pleasant experience – everything worked perfectly. Highly recommended!

อยากทราบว่าพลายประตูผาและพลายศรีณรงค์ จะได้กลับเมืองไทยเมื่อไหร่ เพราะอยู่ที่ศรีลังกา เขาไม่ได้รักช้างเรา เขาเอาไปใช้งานผิดวัตถุประสงค์ เอาไปเดินเร่หาเงินข้างถนน ไม่ทราบว่าทางสถานทูตรับรู้เรื่องนี้บ้างหรือไม่ คนไทยรู้เห็นกันเกือบทั้งประเทศ แต่พวกคุณอยู่ที่ศรีลังกาไม่เคยรู้เลยหรือว่าข้างของเราน่าเวทนาเพียงใดช้างเราเป็นช้างทูต แต่ความเป็นอยู่ไม่ต่างจากทาส เราประชาชนเราจ่ายภาษี ไม่คิดจะทำงานให้คุ้มกับภาษีของประชาชนเลยหรือ

If you're unable to answer the phone, why did you put the phone number? We're also very far from Colombo, so we can't visit the embassy. We've tried calling over 100 times in the past 3 days, and no one picks up. The recording says to press 0 for assistance, but no one answers when we do. What's going on?

สวัสดีค่ะอยากทราบว่าพ่อพลายจะได้กลับมาที่ประเทศไทยเมื่อไหร่อยู่ทุกข์ทรมารมากส่งไปเป็นทูตแต่โดนใช้งานหนักมากกลายเป็นทาสกินอยู่ก็ไม่ดีมีบาดแผลเต็มตัวโดนทำโทษอีกเลี้ยงดูก็ไม่ดีไม่ได้รักเมตตาเลยขอบคุณมากค่ะ

Good service is provided by the embassy and they are working on time. We need to take an online appointment to visit the embassy for the visa application submission. Please bring all the documents as mentioned in the checklist form. You will not be hesitated once you follow the guidelines. After visa submission they issue the passport after 2 working days sharply on the given time. If there are any mistakes most probably need to take another appointment online.

Every year I go there for my VISA. Customer service is best. I like. for Visa you have to make an online appointment then you go there. during your time slot. Everything is fully smart. But when tour agents are there they are shouting. make the place very noisy. After submitting you can collect passport after 2 pm to 3.30pm on appointed date. quick service.

I appreciate the efficiency of the embassy's appointment system. It's generally smooth and helps control the crowd effectively. One thing to note is that if you arrive earlier than your scheduled appointment time, you may need to wait outside. Regrettably, I made an error by submitting the wrong document, which was entirely my mistake. Despite having ample time to resubmit the correct documents during the allocated appointment time, I was asked to book another appointment. I've rated this experience with two stars due to the lack of customer service from the local staff. During my document submission, a staff member at the middle counter was eating, and there was a noticeable absence of support. It's crucial for all staff, including the doorman, to be trained in treating visa applicants with respect.

The embassy have quick service but customer care is very low. Many local officers out here are ignorant and rude on customers over simple mistakes. Please make sure to deal with this because it can cause bad reputation to the embassy as well as to the country regardless of their fast service.

Individuals can easily apply on their own by following the instructions available for download on their website. Getting an appointment is super easy, and the Visa is issued within 3-5 days max (it was 3 days for me) This is based on my experience Jan 2024.

You need to take prior appointments to lodge a visa for Thailand. Their visa process is confusing. On tops of that the local officials in the embassy are not helpful at all. They do not care about the visitors and speak unprofessionally. They don't let you ask questions. What ever they say would be the final word. However, there was foreign official who I guess was a Thai national working at the visa section. She was helpful in comparison to the other local officials. The embassy should really pay attention to the visa instructions. Specially the people who need to visit to Thailand doesn't have a way to know which visa category they should select in order to lodge the visa. It is not even mentioned on the website However after lodging the application they usually process within 2-3 days time which is a great relief. Not satisfied about the way they deal with the general public.

Very poor service in this Thailand embassy in Colombo. Specially one of the staff doesn’t know at all how to respect the people. She’s not helping mind at all very poor. Specially the srilankan tamil lady is very rude and not polite at all

VISA *Appreciation post* Well I was planning a trip to thailand with my parents and wanted to apply Visa from Singapore Thai embassy merely because I believe singapore is more efficient. But because the fact that I can apply from singapore but my parents have to apply from Sri lanka. The documentation part is a bit of a heck. but I booked appt online (non secure website :D) Their email is a gmail ;-p Yet validate all the documents returned all the originals. process took less than 45 minutes with 20 + waiting. I got the collection date 2 days later and got the Visas. Collection time is like 10 minutes. Really amazed

The visa section is pretty good compared to places like VFS. The security guards were polite and efficient. The visa-issuing staff (hidden behind one-way mirrors) were friendly and helpful. Bad reviews are mostly from applicants annoyed that things did not go their way. Lots of mistakes are made on the forms and the staff have to reject them pending corrections. This happened to me and I had to go back two days in a row but they are just doing their job. Let’s give them a break. Kap kun ka.

The process is easier for tourist visa. But non immigrant visa documents require a lot of additional documents than mentioned in the checklist. It's better to check with the visa issuing organzations for the necessities or else they will return the application. Highly recommended to take printouts of all pdfs in hand. There is no shop for printing or photocopy service nearby.

Really unprofessional staff . I went their 3 times to get working visa . The first time the Sri Lankan lady who were there told me my work permit is expired and they have to check it. She didn’t check it that time and asked me to go back and send them a mail . I emailed the embassy but I didn’t not get any reply . So I went to embassy again then there were a Thai lady and this Sri Lankan lady told me the document is correct and asked me get the original certificate from the company since they can not process with scanned documents and bring them. Then for the third time after paying for DHL and getting originals I went to the embassy and same ladies told me last time this is the correct documents is saying this document is wrong and they need an another document for work permit after successfully wasting my time and energy . Every week they are saying contradictory things and wasting time and not doing their job. Really disappointed about their responsibility of work which they get paid . Anywhere I can complain about this ? Just imagine they might mistreat how many other people too .

Miserable place. 1. Srilankan staff including the gate keepers - very rude. Zero knowledge of serving customers. 2. Phone call , email - NEVER answer. Note for Srilankan staff from the embassy - YOU are representing Thailand and working at the embassy. You are NOT the Ambassador. So please stop acting like one.

Everything will be perfect if you submit all required documents accurately. Let me tell comman mistake when applying business visa. # Signature in the invitation letter of Thai company and the signature in the passport of thai company who signed the invitation letter should be the same. Visa fee (business) rs. 24000
