Disappointing experience with this embassy. Despite meeting their Ambassador’s unrealistic demands at our own cost, they failed to renew the contract. Unprofessional and attitude-driven.

Woooowwwww whattttt a lovely place, I went to the Thai Embassy for the first time. And I participated in The Namaste Thailand Festival.

I am extremely disappointed with how the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi handled our visa applications. After paying 50,000 INR for four tourist visas, our application was cancelled without proper explanation — and without any opportunity to submit additional documents. We were told our proof of stay was “disqualified,” but no one clarified what was missing, even after multiple emails and calls. The embassy was quick to accept payment but has been completely unresponsive since. We are now in Thailand on the standard exemption, but our money has not been refunded and no accountability has been shown. This is not how a public institution should treat travelers — especially those acting in full good faith. I strongly urge others to be cautious before applying through this office. I had gone there with my female friend to apply for Thailand visa, as no one answered the phone calls. The staff was rude and non co-operative. This Indian guy in the photograph(with arrows) was a total creep and ill mannered, talked to us in a dominating tone. He was acting as if he owned the embassy. It was such a bad experience that we decided to cancel our trip to Thailand and went to Dubai instead. Never recommend anyone to go there.

They have sone particular time for their document submission and stuff . You ain't needa go to Thai embassy for Visa , there are many VFS centers in Delhi . The nearest is in Cannaught place . Tourist Visa fee single entry is 2500 and 320 rupee for VFS charge. VFS service is good they were really kind to me as i am traveling with land border with my cycle they didn't ask me for air ticket and hotel reservations but we needa submit the Cover letter explaining your whole itinerary and purpose of cycling . They were good though , it wasn't that mess at the VFS process takes time for at least 4 days to get Visa . Days may extend due to festive vacation or holidays .

they can rename it as joke Thai Embassy, nothing royal, just filled with agents of private visa companies, who won't let you enter ,or just with stupid excuses of come other day, or time without any explanation. People can from other parts of country, and this is their first experience of Thailand, which is , lazy and useless and frustrating. Just asking people to run around the city for Visa agents . Instead of doing any real work, or try to help people who wants to visit Thailand. Completely In- Hospitable . If this embassy is serious about their work, they need total change of their system

The latest visa rules also insists on applicants have a minimum balalance of Rs 5 lacs in SB account for for the last 6 months.

I and my son are Thai citizens and need to renew our passports urgently. I have been trying to contact the embassy since more than one month and there has been no response. If they treat Thai citizens like this, i wonder what their responsibility is? Sukhbir singh

This is an old (original) premise of the Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi. Currently, the new Embassy building is being constructed in the same plot of land, and the temporary office of the Royal Thai Embassy is at D 1/3 Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, until the construction is completed. We expect to move back to Chanakyapuri before the end of the year 2018.

The staff inside is not ready to help. They will not let you enter the premises and will try to make ways not to process your document. Moreover the staff is available only for 1 hour 10 30 to 11 30 after which guards inform to come next day. This is most irritating and unresposible behaviour.

Very bad service and response, no one wants to meet if you really wants to meet then you have to take an appointment. To create an appointment you need to call them. If you are lucky enough then anyone would pick up call or reply your email. No response for email from more than a week and no one is picking call Very disappointed.

very bad and slow service there numbers are not reachable and i applied visa on 25 Jan and till no response and they do not give me visa and asking for flight ticket and hotel booking firstly you give the visa after we book this all so they are making scams so don’t apply visa from here

They provide attestation of finger prints in here. Please email them and ask for the dates available for attestation.
