Extremely well located in the heart of the old town and really calm. Your host Sufi speaks French and English and would be happy to chat with you. The house is a renovated traditional house. Rooms are arranged around two courtyards which offer a relaxing and charming atmosphere. Bathroom are not ensuited and are shared but they are extremely clean. You're paying here for a really charming place so if you're only concerned about amenities as some other comment may say you'll find other places cheaper. Breakfast is regular and you can enjoy it in the courtyard. Highly recommended.

Charming historical house in the center of Isfahan. Cozy backpackers atmosphere. The owner, Sufi, and the staff is very helpful. Rooms are different in size and some without ensuite toilet. Price is the same. Overall a nice stay but a bit pricey for a room without privat toilet.

Definitely one of the best guesthouses that I've been to - worldwide! Really great location, not far away from all the main sights and just a short walk to the bazaar where you can find anything you need. The rooms are all very clean, and the interiour garden with the pond and the water lillies is just totally beautiful. The hosts are amazing and I cannot wait to be back! Soon enough! See you Dibai House, Jasmin

A beautifully restored traditional house, run by the friendly Safi. She and her employee speak fluent French, English plus several some more languages. Some rooms don't have ensuite bathrooms, but that's due to the structure of the historic building and not really an inconvenience. In exchange you can appreciate the quietness of the beautiful flower garden. Highly recommended.

We have reserved the hotel with advance, and noticed the owner that we would arrive at early morning. We were assured that it is ok and we can call anytime. So we did, but nobody picked up the phone. After struggling to find the hotel for about 30 minutes, we were ringing the door , but nobody has opened . We were wandering around , which was scary. The Dibai House is in really terrible, deserted location, with half of builings around being demolished. Some strange people were hanging out there. The owner of the hotel didn't call us back, and we didn't know what to do. I understand if she was asleep or anything, but I guess it is rude since she didn't even call us back. I do not recommend .

They charged 60€ for a room that was very small, when you shower everything is wet. You get no soap or shampoo or anything. The breakfast is very poor. The flush was not working properly and in the end it didn't work at all, we told the owner and she said:oh, you destroyed it. When we told her that she couldn't charge 60€ for what she offered she got very angry and disrespectful. We left and found another hotel. Very bad experience and I don't recommend it at all. You can get a 5 star hotel (Abbasi) for much better price, unbelievable

Dibai House looks good in the photos and the location is great, but the details that are not readily visible from a website are just too awful they can ruin a well-planned holiday. The host shouldn't be running a B&B because her personality isn't suited to the hospitality business. And in fact she's not! My friend and had such a terrible experience that we wanted to report her to the authorities. It was in doing so that we found out that her business is not registered. In Iran, that can come with stiff penalties. Our first complaint to the host was that the shower head is broken. Small item really, but her response to us was: "what do you want me to do about it?". I thought that was rude and certainly didn't expect that kind of response from a host specially as shower heads are cheap, her house is right next to the market, and she was charging us €60/night! But we took that in stride and accepted that for the rest of our stay, we will have to continually hold the shower head in one hand whilst showering. The next morning, we complained to her that the room was cold and that my friend was feeling ill, could she turn up the heat please? She said no! The room is warm! I pointed to her the many cracks/gaps/holes in the wall and told her that while the room may start out warm, the heat escapes through the cracks/gaps/holes (see photo) in the wall and by 2am in the cold winter night, the room is indeed freezing. She didn't believe me. She insisted the room is warm, but offered to bring us more blankets. She never came back with those blankets. My friend's illness worsened the following day. At checkout time, my friend, who is understandably angry at this point because he was now constantly coughing, and who is an Iranian and is thus familiar with local ways, said to me that we should ask to see the posted rates because he doubts that the Iranian authorities would have agreed €60/night was acceptable. This is a very high rate for Iranian guest houses, fyi. We asked to see the official rate but she couldn't produce them. This is when we made the phone calls to authorities and discovered that hers isn't a registered business. My Iranian wanted to phone the police, but I just wanted to leave and continue with the holiday, and so I eventually paid, but asked that she gives us our passports first. She said no, she didn't trust me, and demanded that we pay first before she gives us our passports back. Visitors should know that this is not done in Iran. In all my other stays, the hotels give the passport back before taking payment.

I booked with them (written), I bought my bus ticket and I called them to tell them I would have to arrive in the middle of the night. Answer: "not possible, good bye". This was the worst treatment I have received in this wonderful country. They would rahter lose my 45 € for the night than find someone to get up at 2 o´clock in the night. Final stadium of arrogance?? I spent the night in the bus (succeeded in changing the departure time) and found a wonderful place with wonderful people the next day.

Séjour paisible dans cette maison traditionnelle d’Esfahan; mention spéciale au jardin persan joliment fleuri; hôte francophone de très bons conseils sur les incontournables de la ville.
