A fantastic place to stay at when you are in Bukhara. The hotel appears very new. The complete interior is designed with a lot of love for detail and matching color concepts. The rooms are modern and comfortable, super clean and quite. The bathroom is immaculate. The breakfast very good. All people in the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. You feel the true passion for their hotel and its guests and not just a professional politeness. The best accommodation during our Usbekistan trip, a true recommendation!

I normally don’t write reviews for hotels, but the service, quality, and warmth of the staff at Hotel Sarhad Bukhara completely pushed me to share my experience for others. From the moment I arrived, the owner and the entire team were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond in every way. But the best part of this hotel is undoubtedly its design and the people running it. The architecture beautifully captures the true soul of Bukhara, and you can feel the city’s spirit in every corner. The landlord has thoughtfully preserved that authentic, historical touch, making your stay feel truly immersive. The location is just as impressive. Staying here means you’re surrounded by all the major landmarks, most of which are easily reachable on foot. For me and my family, Hotel Sarhad has become our second home in Uzbekistan. Whenever I return, or when my friends and family visit, this will be the first place we think of. If you’re looking for genuine hospitality, character, and a heartfelt Bukhara experience,this is the place.

My mom and I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The hotel is sooo beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are so pretty , clean and spacious. The single beds were a little small and firm for us but it seems to be the norm in Uzbekistan. There was a beautiful tea set inside the room and the shower was so big and hot water was plentiful. There was also AC which was so handy during the hot Bukhara days. The breakfast was so delicious. They serve a large buffet and the food is so delicious and homemade. The dining room is so cozy we loved our morning breakfast routine. The only thing we would suggest is to replace the white bread with Uzbek bread which is so much more delicious. The location of the hotel is perfect. 10 mins to the entrance of the old town. We really enjoyed being a little outside where it was quieter and loved our evening walks back to the hotel. Lastly and most importantly , the family who runs the hotel is soooo lovely and welcoming ! They gifted my mom a delicious birthday cake- thank you again ! Also we were a bit late going to the train station on our last day and they arranged for their driver to take us hassle free and at a very reasonable price. The driver was also very nice and professional. This family works very hard and truly deserve all the the success in the world. We hope to be back one day !

We had a wonderful 3-night stay here in early April. Location: A 2-minute walk to the Bolo Hauz Mosque and Ark of Bukhara. It was a 10-min walk to the Kalan Mosque and Minaret, which are lovely at night. It's also very near the bazaar and other sites that feel less like the "Disney" old town center. Room: The lux suite was comfortable and had views of both courtyards. The bathroom was very clean and had consistent hot water even with the handheld bidet. TVs had Netflix and Prime Video. The breakfast was plenty, and the staff provided for our needs, including free bottled water. We were even picked up at the train station at 12am by the owner. Downsides: - There was a big group of noisy guests in the stairwells and common areas and we could hear them through the walls even though the windows are thick and triple-paned. - Breakfast doesn't label which is vegetarian. - If you care about towels, some are really rough and some are plush. This was common in Uzbekistan, even the Hyatt. They need to use citric acid more to make all towels soft.

We had the most pleasant stay in Bukhara in this small, family-run hotel. The staff is what made everything perfect - from the reception to breakfast, everyone was warm, friendly and willing to help despite some language barrier. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had all the amenities including kettle and fridge. The breakfast spread was perfect and us full until late afternoon. From the fresh salads to pastries to sweets to grilled chicken and potatoes, it was something we looked forward to every morning. We also appreciated how wonderful the laundry service was and how they packed our clothes very nicely. The location is 5 minutes to Ark of Bukhara and another 15 minutes to the Old Town. We took a taxi on the first day due to rain but it's much more convenient to walk as we found out. Although the location is not at the Old Town, it's a nice location to be somewhere a bit local. There is a small mini mart in front of the hotel with the kindest sellers if you need to buy water and snacks.

I had such a beautiful stay at this boutique hotel—truly one of the best I’ve experienced. The design is incredibly unique, with every detail thoughtfully curated and full of character. Everything was spotless, which made the space feel even more relaxing and refined. What made it even more special was the staff—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was kind and warm, and you can really feel that personal touch throughout the entire place. A hidden gem I’d absolutely come back to.

家庭經營新酒店，就在大馬路旁邊，樓高四層房間很大。老闆人很好，趕車得話會為你準備餐點，每天清潔房間。各景點可步行十分鐘左右即可，屬於古城外圍比較安靜。

Harika bir otel! Mirza Ulugbey beyefendi bizimle bizzat ilgilendi ve kendi evinde misafir ediyor gibi hissettirdi. Kurban bayramında anne ve babamla bu otelde kaldık, bayramı yaşamamız için bize kendi kurban etlerinden yemek hazırlattı. Her türlü ihtiyacımızla birebir ilgilendiler. Misafirperverliklerini ve hürmetlerini hiç unutmayacağız. Tarihi noktalara çok yakın bir konumda ve yepyeni bir otel. Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum.

Sarhad Hotel is by far the warmest and friendliest hotel we stayed at in Uzbekistan. The staff and the owner are incredibly helpful, kind, and genuinely welcoming — you can truly feel their hospitality from the moment you arrive. We had a very late check-in, yet they patiently waited for us with smiles and never made us feel rushed or inconvenient. What touched us the most was how warm and caring they were — they even prepared tea for us before we checked out, which felt more like staying with family than at a hotel. The room is modern yet beautifully blended with traditional Bukhara elements, very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Location-wise, it’s perfect — within walking distance to the main attractions, making sightseeing very easy. Breakfast was also good and satisfying, adding to the overall pleasant experience. If you’re looking for a place with sincere hospitality, warm hearts, and friendly people, Sarhad Hotel is truly special. Highly recommended.

I had an exceptional stay at this family-run hotel. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was truly heartfelt. The owner and his family welcomed us warmly and even offered complimentary confectionary items, which was such a thoughtful touch. The property itself is modern, newly built, and beautifully designed. Every detail—from the decor to the fixtures—feels fresh, stylish, and thoughtfully put together. It’s clear the family has invested a lot of care into creating a comfortable and visually appealing space for guests. The owner’s sons were incredibly helpful—always on their feet, assisting with breakfast and making sure every guest was looked after. One of his sons even walked with me personally to guide me to the Friday mosque, which was an extremely kind gesture that I’ll always appreciate. The breakfast had a good variety, and the entire family constantly checked in to see if we needed anything. Their respect, kindness, and accommodating nature made the experience feel very personal. In all my travels across Uzbekistan, this hotel stands out as one of the best in terms of customer service. Their dedication, modern facilities, and genuine care for guests make it a place I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

神経質な日本人も満足出来る、素晴らしいホテルだと思います。 清潔で、親切で設備も申し分ないです。 オーナーや若いスタッフ、みんな協力的で、飲み物に困った時やランドリーサービスをお願いしたい時など嫌な顔せずせっせと確認してくれます。 建物自体はかなり新しいホテルのように見受けられます。 極寒期の来訪だったため、過去に他の国で経験したシャワー中に突然、冷水しか出なくなる出来事がトラウマで、設備が新しそうなこのホテルを選びましたが大正解でした。 内装もとても凝っていて、伝統的な雰囲気とモダンなデザイン性がバランスよく美しいです。 朝食もウズベキスタンで泊まった他の色んなホテルの中で一番凝っていて楽しいです。 ただアメニティはタオルと歯ブラシ、ハンドソープ、ドライヤーだけだと思っていた方がいいかもしれせん。 アルク城へは10分、ラビハウズやカラーン・ミナレットなど主要な観光スポットへは20分前後の徒歩圏内です。 散歩しながらの滞在にはちょうど良いです。 タバコは中庭で吸えるので、あらかじめ伝えていれば近い部屋にしてくれると思います。

Brand new property: my room still smelled of new, it was very spacious, beautiful and extremely comfortable. Excellent cleanliness and a truly warm welcome: from the kind and professional reception staff to the lovely lady serving breakfast, always smiling and attentive. The location is convenient, about a 15-minute walk from the old town of Bukhara, along a safe and pleasant street even in the evening. Thank you so much for the hospitality — well done, keep up the great work.

깔끔한 개인? 가족? 호텔입니다. 객실 상태가 정말 좋았어요. 아파트형을 선택했는데 거실과 침실이 적당히 분리되어 있어 편했습니다. 침구도 깔끔합니다. 베개는 단단한 정도에 따라 두 종류가 있어 편한 것을 선택할 수 있어요. 개인에 따라 침대가 조금 딱딱할 수 있습니다. 하지만 거슬리지는 않습니다. 조식은 가정식의 느낌이고, 부족하지 않습니다. 저희는 충분했어요. 호텔의 모든 분이 정말 친절합니다. 의사소통도 잘 됩니다. 위치도 좋아요. 걸어서 아르크 성 갔다가 올드 시티도 가고 한 바퀴 휙 둘러 들어올 수 있죠. 매우 좋았습니다.

Where do I even begin? My parents, my boyfriend, and I spent two wonderful nights at Hotel Sarhad, and I truly cannot thank the owner and the entire team enough for their exceptional hospitality. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Before booking, I went through many reviews and spent quite some time deciding where to stay. While the hotel is not located directly in the old town, I am so glad we chose Hotel Sarhad - it is absolutely worth it for the quality of the hotel and the incredible service, and it is close enough to get anywhere easily. We stayed in the apartment room and deluxe family room, which were spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The hotel itself is new, extremely well maintained and tidy, creating a calm and pleasant environment to return to each day. Getting around was effortless as Yandex taxis were easy to book. The team kindly recommended two excellent restaurants, Joy and The Plov, both of which were delicious. I even ran into an issue in the Old Town during our stay, and the team immediately helped to sort it out, despite it being completely unrelated to the hotel. I was very touched by this gesture. What stood out most was the dedication of the staff. They worked tirelessly, day and night, and always greeted us with warm smiles and genuine kindness - and even shared some local treats with us. We are grateful to Ulug’bek, Hsilbek, Fotix, Dildora, and Ozodbek for their attentiveness and genuine care. Thanks to them, our time in Bukhara was truly comfortable and memorable. We highly recommend Hotel Sarhad to anyone visiting the city!

Номера просто шикарные — стильный интерьер, все новое, современное и продумано до мелочей. Персонал вежливый и внимательный, атмосфера очень комфортная. Однозначно рекомендую всем, кто планирует поездку в Бухару — здесь действительно приятно отдыхать ❤️

The Hotel is new. Ilove it. It is close to the old town. A cross the street you can find supermarket. The beds matress are hard, but very comfortable to sleep. The bathroom is nice and clean. T had room with three beds. The size of the room was nice. (Good size) the air conditioner is cold with temperature control. There were fridge, kettle, cups in the room. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.I recommend this hotel. And differently I will stay here again.
