I Visited Al Ain Convention Center yesterday to get Pfizer as my booster shot. I have got an appointment through SEHA app. I travelled all the way from Dubai (2 Hr. Driving) after taking PCR test (110AED) and reached there in time. The gentleman at the entrance asked me to comeback tomorrow as I was Covid positive on June10th and you can take vaccine only at July 10th. My first question was, Then how did SEHA allowed me to book an appointment? Why this information didn't mentioned while booking an appointment? I explained the gentleman that I am coming all the way from Dubai after taking PCR test. He was kind enough to let me in also warned me that Doctor may not give me vaccine. I went inside, and the Ladies sitting at the reception asked me for my VISA. (in the app, it says to carry Al hosn app only). I said, I have no copy of the Visa, I have my Emirates ID and Al hosn app. They insisted me to show the Visa. Then they told me only Al ain or Abu Dhabi Visa are allowed to take vaccine. I told them, I am holding an another Emirates Visa. They asked me to go back, I cannot get vaccine here. I asked them where all these are written or informed ? They keep silent on that question and doesn't seem to be bothered to answer my question. I asked again and again but they were busy chatting in whatsapp. The funniest part is, I told the ladies that, I need to file a complaint on this to a person in charge. Their reply was, "We are in charge, you can complain to us" !!!!
Now, my question are.
1. If I am not eligible to get vaccine, why do my appointment request didn't get rejected at first place?
2. All of these rules and information are not written and not informed anywhere? A person traveling from other emirates need to go there after spending the money and hours of driving to know that, we are ineligible to get vaccine?
3. If we make a call to SEHA, always... always answering machine talk to you. There is another number to call direct, but if it's the luckiest day in your life, your call "MAY ANSWERED". I was not lucky enough.
All in all for me, A day wasted, Money wasted.
Such a "WONDERFULL" experience during the pandemic!!!!!
