I went to this beauty salon for a haircut and showed Yalda a clear reference photo of the exact length and style I wanted. Unfortunately, she cut my hair much, much shorter than requested, without checking or confirming with me first. As soon as I realised what had happened, I stopped her from continuing with the same style, which has now left me with two different hair lengths. When she made the first cut, she smiled and said “all gone” or in Turkish: “Getde”. This felt extremely unprofessional and upsetting. I still don’t understand why she said that, whether she realised her mistake or did it intentionally. What made the experience even worse was that, based on the behaviour of the other staff, it was clear this was not the first time an issue like this had occurred with her. I genuinely love this salon and always use their services whenever I come to Tabriz, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I do want to mention that the manager, Sevda, was very kind and handled the situation politely, which I truly appreciated. I like and respect Sevda. Thank you. However, the damage was already done. A haircut cannot be undone, and this experience has been deeply distressing. Since yesterday, I look at myself in the mirror and cry. I am now taking vitamins to help my hair grow so that I can hopefully get a proper haircut in the coming months and harmonize my unequal hair. I sincerely hope the salon management takes this matter seriously and ensures this does not happen to other clients again. I also hope appropriate action is taken. Avoid Yalda in this salon for haircut.
