Ho recentemente transitato dall’aeroporto di Sharm el-Sheikh e l’esperienza complessiva è stata positiva, soprattutto considerando che si tratta di uno degli scali più importanti per il turismo in Egitto. L’aeroporto è abbastanza grande e ben organizzato, con diversi terminal dedicati ai voli internazionali. I controlli di sicurezza sono rigorosi e talvolta possono richiedere un po’ di tempo, ma il personale è professionale e abituato a gestire un elevato flusso di passeggeri. All’interno si trovano numerosi servizi: negozi duty free ben forniti (profumi, alcolici, souvenir e prodotti locali), bar e punti ristoro, servizi igienici presenti in varie zone, generalmente puliti, cambio valuta e bancomat facilmente accessibili e infine la non scontatissima area fumatori. Il personale, anche se non sempre fluentissimo in inglese, è cordiale e disponibile. Le aree d’attesa sono spaziose, anche se in alcune ore di punta possono risultare affollate. Il Wi-Fi è disponibile, anche se la connessione può essere un po’ instabile. Nel complesso, un aeroporto funzionale e adeguato per una località turistica come Sharm el-Sheikh. Con qualche miglioramento nei tempi dei controlli e nella gestione delle folle, l’esperienza sarebbe ancora migliore.

Sharm el sheik, Mısır'ın gözde tatil beldesi. Rixos gibi harika otelleri var. Ama Sharm El Sheikh Havaalanı buranın daha kaliteli bir tatil beldesi olmasını engelliyor. Gelen turistlerin çoğu bu havaalanından şikayetçi. Zaten Google Haritalar'da yorumları inceleseler fikir sahibi olur. Aslında havaalanı fena değil fakat gerekli ve eksik malzemeleri alsalar, çalışan güvenlik görevlilerinin turistlere daha nazik davranmaları hakkında hem uyarsalar, hemde gerekli eğitimlerinin verilmesi sağlansa, turist daha mutlu bir şekilde ülkesine döner. Mesela güvenlik kontrolünün yapıldığını yerdeki X-Ray cıhazların yanında sepetler olmadığı için turistler eşyalarını X-Ray cihazına direk veriyor. Ayakkabılarda X-Ray cihazına koymamızı istediler fakat yerler çok kirli. Mecburen yerlere bastık. Çalışanların daha ciddi olması gerekli. Ayrıca tuvaletler çok kirli ve çoğu çalışmıyor. Bu durum kabul edilemez.

This iconic silhouette, with its soaring white canopies and expansive glass facades, creates a bright and spacious environment that feels more like a resort gateway than a standard transit hub. The facilities are modern and generally well-organized, handling high tourist volumes with relative efficiency. The interiors are clean, and there is a good selection of duty-free shops and cafes to explore while waiting. While it can get busy during peak seasons, the unique aesthetic and strategic layout make it a pleasant first and last impression of Egypt. Recommended 👍🏼.

Красное море очень красивое, но больше не прилетим только из за персонала аэропорта Шарм Эль Шейх. Из контроли на вылете из Шарма - просто ШОУ. Мы простояли в очереди 3 часа просто на check in! Нужно писать какую то бумажку и ждать пока лента багажа двигается. На семью в среднем ожидание 15 минут. Ощущение что мы находились на базаре а не в аэропорту! Персонал ходит туда сюда, ругаются между собой и звонят кому то. Но когда есть конкретный вопрос и нужна помощь, они оправляют тебя от одного человека к другому и ничего не объясняют, ведут себя высокомерно. Бессмысленные контроли которые выматывают, за свои же деньги которые мы туристы везем в их страну, мы почувствовали себя дураками. Уже добравшись до самолета, пришлось ждать опять потому что при заправке самолета было пролито топливо! Посмотрите на фото, оно очень хорошо описывают как работают тут все службы - один работает, трое стоят и смотрят. И говорят по телефону опять же. Больше не прилетим только из за персонала аэропорта, хоть и очень понравилось красное море.

A quite stunning experience of what bad service can be. No individual can be the incompetent – it takes a whole team. It is a small airport, but it took me longer than I have ever experienced to get On my flight, which was delayed purely because the airport staff wanted To make people wait for as long as possible. Someone asks to check your passport as you enter the airport. Then, after getting in the door, someone else will ask to check your passport. And standing behind them will be somebody else who wants to check your passport. I lost count of how many people I had to show my passport to – I think it was nine. And for everyone, there was a queue so slow that people were sitting on the floor. They take enormous joy in putting people through this. They will often just chat amongst each other, and simply wander off while people Queue to see them. They will point you to queue, and when you finally get to the front of the queue, they will say you are in the wrong queue and point you to another queue. When they did this, the people I was with just accepted it and tried to see the funny side. This is what happens when you give people who are not very smart a uniform. Of course, they know that they can make things worse for you if they want to, And you know it, So you just say nothing and continue our after our of the ordeal of being treated in a sub human way. There is no way I would use this airport again - Life is too beautiful a thing to spend half a day in this airport being treated badly. One can only hope that one day, someone with a degree of intelligence takes over the management of the airport and stops this horrendous nonsense.

Pessima esperienza Ci hanno chiesto soldi praticamente a tutti i controlli Se pagavi, ti facevano saltare la fila o ti permettevano di portare bevande teoricamente non autorizzate in tutti i controlli chiedono soldi la merce venduta nell’aeroporto spesso e contraffatta E di pessima qualità i servizi scadenti e il personale molto fastidioso e insistente Il servizio ristorazione è Scarso e di mediocre qualità al Burger King mi hanno fatto pagare in dollari anziché in lire egiziane con un prezzo superiore Non è un aeroporto che consiglierei, mi riferisco al terminal due quiz, non ha fatto niente per agevolare questo volo

Visited December 2025 SIM card kiosks are located to the left as you exit customs in the arrivals hall. There are four mobile providers available: WE Etisalat Orange Vodafone I can confirm that the kiosks operate 24/7. A wide range of data deals is available and prices are very similar across providers. At the time of my visit, Etisalat was offering 100GB for £15 / $18 / 808 EGP. After purchase, staff install the SIM card and register it on your phone for you. Your original SIM is returned in an envelope so you can put it back in your phone when you return home. The whole process was quick and easy, and it is much cheaper than buying an eSIM in the UK or upgrading a UK SIM (for example, UK network upgrades were around three times the price for much less data).

Pretty small airport. They don’t allow you to enter check in area before 2 hours for domestic flights. There are porters outside waiting for taxis. Porters offer you to take inside when you arrive so that you don’t have to wait for checkin to open. Security is fast. There is only one small cafe shop which also tries to scam u and things are very very expensive per egyptian standards.

Sicuramente pittoresco vederlo una volta atterrati dalla pista, con la sua forma simile a un gigantesco tendone..peccato che poi dentro non sia tutto questo splendore, si presenta organizzato bene ma con pochi anzi pochissimi servizi bar, ristorazione, un solo store dove trovare cose di alcu i generi come tabacco, liquori.. Non c'è nemmeno una torretta o presa per caricare il telefono, i bagni sono vecchi e non pulitissimi. È piccolo per essere un aereoporto internazionale..la cosa più fastidiosa però è l'assalto da parte di "taxisti" una volta fuori dalla struttura...tenetevi pronti a trattare sul prezzo..alla fine riuscirete a ottenere una corsa fino all'hotel a un prezzo ragionevole..

Хороший аэропорт, не маленький но и не большой. Могу отметить что довольно чисто и довольно быстро проходишь все регистрации, паспортные контроли, сдаешь багаж. Из минусов то что можно легко запутаться и после этого вас наругают, например если вы прошли не через тот металлоискатель. Также самый ужасный минус это цены. Тут очень дорого все. Очень большая наценка и не понятно за что. Маленькая булочка которая от силы стоит 1-2 $ тут стоит целых 5$! И я щас не только про булки. Но когда тебе ждать рейс больше 2 часов и ты хочешь покушать то как то не круто платить столько денег за одну булку. В целом аэропорт чистый и хороший.

Sharm otellere çok iyi bakarken burayı unutmuş olmalı. Gece 01:00 gibi geldik ve 1 buçuk saatten fazladır buradayız, yorumu ona göre okuyabilirsiniz. Havalimanında sigara "GÜYA" yasak, her yer leş gibi kokuyor. Ters hava akımı var ve etrafa dağılıyor desem, değil çünkü resimdeki görevli odasında birkaç kişi gayet rahat içiyordu. Göründüğü gibi kapısı da açık. Ayrıca kapalı olmasına rağmen açık gibi görünen bir kahvecisi var. Bizim ufaklık lolipopu gördüğü için çok mızmızlandı ve görevlilerden buranın aslında kapalı olduğunu öğrendik, haliyle gözümüzün önünde duran şeyi satın alamadık. Oradaki farklı bir anne de benzer durumdan şikayetçiydi ve bizimle kendi şekerini paylaştı. Madem satış yok, neden kepenk indirme gibi bir uygulama yok, anlamak mümkün değil. Tuvaletler kirli, girişteki bantlar kirli, kutu ileride durmasına ve işaret ederek istememize rağmen veren yok. Sharm çocuklu ailelerin sık tercih ettiği bir destinasyon ama 3 yaşında bir çocukla sadece uçuş saatinde uğrayıp kaçmanızı öneririm. Çekilmiyor.

When we landed, we filled out the card they gave us on the plane. We were told that children didn’t need their own form—just write their names on the back. But when I got to security, the officer said each child needed a separate card. I explained I’d already written their names on the back, but under pressure I had to fill out new forms anyway. Everything was fine after that. The only annoying part was the guys in the toilets constantly asking for tips. The return trip was worse—around six different security checks. The prices at the airport were extortionate: £5 for chips, £4 for water, £4 for a Coke. It was ridiculous.

Es un aeropuerto ordenado y limpio. Llegar con 3 horas de anticipación para vuelos internacionales porque antes no te dejan pasar. Se realizan varios controles de seguridad al entrar y al salir del aeropuerto.

Fantastic. Have been going back for 3 years and wouldn't change it for anything. Lovely helpful people who will go out of their way to help you. Very polite staff who make you feel at home. Very clean and updated appointments. The food is unbelievable so much choice the chef will get it for you if there is anything you require. The service is superb all in all an unbelievable experience . Well worth it.

Şehirde çok fazla taksi var o yüzden biri olmazsa diğeri olur. Yanınızda bolca 1,2 ve 5 dolar bulundurun. Çoğu yerde para üstü gelmiyor. Bırakmak zorunda kalıyorsunuz. Alışverişlerde ise verilen fiyatin yarısını teklif edin. Hatta bir iki yerden fiyat alarak yarisini teklif edebilirsiniz. Her ürün her yerde var. fix price yazan yerlerin fiyatları net oluyor. Yavaş yavaş Hasan Şaş repliğine günde 20 kez maruz kalabilirsiniz hazırlıklı olun. Gelelim havaalanına: personelleri çok kaba ve bina temiz değil.

The worst airport I have ever been to. Staff treat passengers like rubbish — no basic courtesy, just shouting in Arabic. At the first security scan they don’t even provide empty trays to unpack your belongings; you’re forced to place items loose directly onto the X-ray belt. The floors throughout the airport are dirty. In the duty-free shops it reeks of tobacco because staff smoke cigarettes. There are alcoves inside the terminal near the shops where people smoke, and the smoke spreads throughout the entire store. Prices are high and often there are no price tags on products. It seems they have forgotten that tourism is a key pillar of Egypt’s economy. This experience convinced me that this was my last visit to Egypt.
