Excellent stay here at the Ritz Sharq Village! They acknowledged Marriott elite status and Amex FHR at check-in, and gave us a list of benefits we were entitled to. We were upgraded to a suite and given a tour of the property. Staff were great! We were only here for a short layover and wish we could have spent more time, as the property is beautiful. The private beach views are immaculate. Hope to try the spa next time! Room was spacious and all of the details were well done, lots of great art and design. Very clean. We had room service for dinner, and the food was perfect! Big portions, fresh, a lot of flavor. The shawarma was excellent, as were the nachos. Highly recommend the Ritz chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Service was denied to me at the Beach bar simply because I was dining alone. At 6:00 PM on a Sunday, all of the hotel's restaurants and bars were virtually deserted - I was the only guest present - yet I was refused service because I was unaccompanied by family. I found this policy both offensive and discriminatory toward individual guests. It appears the hotel would rather keep its restaurants empty and serve only families, than accommodate a single paying customer. The staff's attitude was far from what one would expect from a five-star hospitality establishment. I was told by the beach staff that I am free to sit at the beach bar. Afterwords they said - not allowed. They said they would be serving me this time, but next time I should pay an entrance fee (a few hundred riyals) to the restricted area of the beach bar (!) and then separately pay for my drinks. After all this empty talk, I was still not served at all but ignored by the staff. After waiting for nearly an hour, and having conversations with supervisors and managers (who kept explaining to me the value and advantage of their latest policy) I left the area feeling deeply disappointed. This was particularly upsetting because I have been visiting this hotel since its opening day (a few decades ago) and have regularly accommodated over there my own family members and friends while visiting Qatar. What was once a place that felt like a second home, has lost the charm, warmth, humility, friendliness, and genuine hospitality that made it special. Old clients, who used to be regulars, are no longer being recognized, or welcomed if they come alone. The area was nearly empty, yet the quality of service (or no service at all) as well as the guest treatment was remarkably poor. Sadly, the welcoming atmosphere and customer-focused approach that once defined this property and specially the Beach Bar are no longer evident.

Traumhaftes Hotel – alles super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider bekommt auch dieses Hotel die aktuellen Umstände zu spüren. Dennoch managt hier jeder alles äußerst professionell und man fühlt sich trotz alledem sehr sicher. Fazit: Es ist eine klare Herzensempfehlung, hierher zu kommen! Wünscht die Family aus Room 501 <3

This place is truly amazing! From the landscape design to the villas and rooms, everything is top-notch. The view from the beach is very relaxing and beautiful. The amenities are exceptional and the staff are very warm-hearted, friendly and accommodating. Their food menu offers a bit of familiar favorites, while offering a taste of delicious local cuisine. I would highly recommend this Hotel and Spa to anyone.

Really enjoyed my stay at Ritz-Carlton Sharq Village & Spa Doha. The whole hotel has a very relaxing vibe and the pool and beach area were honestly one of the best parts of the stay. Beach access was great and everything felt very clean and well looked after. I also really appreciated that they actually paid attention to the request I added to my booking and gave me a really good room/location because of it. Small thing but it makes a difference. The location of the hotel itself is also very convenient and getting around Doha from there was easy. Also wanted to mention Saeed, who helped me take all my luggage to the car when I was leaving even though he didn’t have to. He wasn’t even part of the bellboy team from what I could tell, he just genuinely wanted to help, which was really nice. Only small downside was the indoor kids play area. It’s a bit small and could probably do with a few more activities for children. Other than that, really good stay overall.

Sharq Village & Spa truly impressed us even before our stay. We unfortunately had to cancel our reservation at very short notice due to the current situation in the region and an unexpected evacuation flight. Although our booking was non-refundable, the team handled the cancellation with incredible kindness and understanding and waived the fee completely. This level of generosity and professionalism says a lot about the hotel and its people. Even though we sadly couldn’t experience the stay itself, this gesture left a lasting impression. We were really looking forward to visiting and sincerely hope to come back one day under better circumstances. Thank you again to the wonderful team.

Beautiful hotel, laid out with 'villas' with rooms surrounding a central courtyard (Riad style). Service was impeccable throughout the hotel from our early arrival through to our late departure we were expertly looked after. The hotel has an excellent beach and 2 well laid out pools. Unfortunately none were designated as adult only so there was no 'quiet' space to relax. Definitely worth a visit again, but maybe outwith school holidays! 😆

Where shall I start? That the location is perfect, just a 15-minute ride from the airport? That their service and all the staff are exceptional, doing everything with a smile, and that nothing is too much? That the village is beautifully maintained, with beautiful gardens? That the pool area is a nice place to relax, and that you can order your favourite drink or something to eat so easily? That they have a beautiful beach with a view? That breakfast is a great start to your day? That the food in the restaurants is outstanding? That the spa is a must-visit? That you need to have a massage here? Thanks to all the staff for making our visit so wonderful.

Ein sehr gutes Hotel. Das einzige was noch besser ist, ist das Team! Insbesondere der Küchenchef Mert und die Servicekraft Mohammad waren exzellent in dem was sie tun. Der Privatstrand hat den besten Blick auf die Skyline und die Architektur des Hotel ist wie aus „Tausendundeine Nacht“. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

ممتاز ، غرف صغيرة شوي بس نظيفة و مريحة، ستايل الفندق بشكل عام كلاسيكي قديم بس كثير حلو ومميز النظافة ممتازة كلشي نظيف بالغرف و برا رغم انه المساحات بالفندق كبيرة كثية بس كلشي نظيف امر ايجابي جدًا للإدارة الخدمة ما كانت احسن شي ، كان في شوية تأخير و اسلوب بعض العاملين مش كثير احترافي بس كمان كان في كثير ودودين منهم واحد كنت عم بمشي من البوابة طلعني معه بعربة الغولف ووصلني هو.👏 الفندق فيه مساحات خضراء بكل مكان و مريح نفسيًا ، الغرف فيها خصوصية اكثر لأنها معمولة بتقسيم الفلل مش الغرف التقليدية في حوض سباحة و بار جنبه الشاطئ ممتاز. بس في قلة أماكن استحمام عالشاطئ هيدي الملاحظة الوحيدة ، في مواقف سيارات كبيرة من احسن و أهدئ الفنادق بالدوحة ومميز جدا خصوصا بالستايل الكلاسيكي الفاخر ، مناسب للعائلات

Our stay was simply perfect! The room was excellent – very clean, well maintained, and you could really feel the attention to detail. The entire team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always helpful. From housekeeping to the beach service, everything was just spot on. The dinner was absolutely delicious – compliments to the very talented chef! The service team was also top-class: professional, friendly, and always attentive. A very special thank you to Abdul for taking such great care of us. He was always present, extremely kind, and truly made our stay extra special. Service like this is rare. We are very grateful and completely satisfied. With such outstanding service, we will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel. 🙌

⸻ I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding – every request I had was handled quickly, professionally, and always with a smile. The food was also amazing, with great variety and high quality at every meal. A special thank you to Mr. Meloni in the restaurant for his exceptional hospitality and attention to detail, and to Ms. Sonia for her kindness and wonderful service. Нам очень понравился отдых — были здесь в апреле прошлого года. Обслуживание на высоком уровне, всё оставило только приятные впечатления. Еда вкусная, и особенно порадовало, что для детей могут приготовить отдельно — это большой плюс. Пляж отличный, персонал очень вежливый и внимательный. Отдельно хочется отметить невероятный вид ночью со стороны моря — просто сказка. Мы ни разу не пожалели, что выбрали этот отель для отдыха с ребёнком. Когда мы сообщили, что ночью в номере шумно, нам без проблем предложили замену — это тоже приятно удивило. Единственный момент: в первые дни ребёнок заболел, и возникли сложности с поиском лекарств, так как рядом не оказалось аптек. Было бы удобно, если бы в отеле была возможность приобрести базовые медикаменты первой необходимости.

Leider konnten wir wegen der aktuellen Situation nicht alle Annehmlichkeiten genießen. Trotzdem war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Auf unsere für diesen Zeitpunkt möglichen Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Als Elite Member haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten alle Vorteile genießen. Der Service war hervorragend. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir hier Augustina. Nicht nur das Zimmer war perfekt 🙏, sie hat uns auch bei den Formalitäten für eine schnelle Ausreise unterstützt. Liebe Augustina! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen und genau mit Zimmer 512 unseren Urlaub fortsetzen. Bis dahin wünschen wir dir, deinem Team und ganz Qatar alles gute und das diese schreckliche Situation sofort aufhört.

Disappointing start, asked for connecting rooms a days ahead, but only was available at 4pm so they gave us a temporary room for an hour or so! Being titanium member I would have expected a better experience Also i asked for a tour to the hotel, but I was given a map, and sort of find your way! Plus, luggage didn’t deliver for a long and at the end we went to collect ourselves Since, I cannot add reply to their feedback, I wanted to share post check in experience. Amazing! Stuff and guest relations experts have made our stay so exciting, which exceeded our expectations! Thank you team who made this happen!

Ritz never fails. You feel like home. It is very quiet and chill. I had to say the property needs some renovation but the service is outstanding. Food is amazing. Location is close to the airport and old city. But it is in the south of the new Doha. Family friendly with beach access

Die Lage war für uns perfekt. Die Metrostation National Museum ist 10 Minuten entfernt. Es können alle Ziele gut erreicht werden. Das Hotel lässt eigentlich keine wünsche offen. Es wurde immer kostenloses Wasser gereicht. Auch zum Abendessen waren Softdrinks inklusive. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es wird einem bei Rückfragen oder wünschen immer geholfen. Die Nähe zum Flughafen hat uns nicht gestört. Gelegentlich fliegt ein Flugzeug über das Hotel.
