Shawathin coffeshop and cafe مقهى وقهوة شواذن

Best shawarma, and the best rooftop view in town (maybe except nizwa fort rooftop view). Loved the falafel burrito 🌯 as my afternoon snack as well, perfect and light and absolutely delicious!!

We found this little coffeeshop that was recommended to us by a local! It’s a bit hidden in a corner and once you order you can go up to the rooftop to eat where you have a beautiful view of the souq and the fort! We got the omani bread, which consists of local cream cheese and omani chips! The coffee was very saffrony and the lemon mint juice was super fresh! Go check this place out!

Buono, comodo e rapidi —>Ottimo! Non aspettatevi di certo il locale più chich di Nizwa, ma la terrazza ha vista proprio sulla fortezza. Il cibo è buono e saporito, servito alla fast food. Rapporto qualità prezzo mooolto valido: in due abbiamo preso due piatti, insalata, patatine fritte con acqua e cola. Abbiamo speso 4,2 rial. Se volete mangiare bene, comodi e rapidi andate tranquilli. Parola di un italiano.

We went because of the reviews regarding the chicken shawarma and it was a let down. My husband and I spilt it and mine was all sauce to the point I couldn’t eat. When ordering we confirmed it had veggies but it was only chicken, lettuce, fries and sauce. We also confirmed the mango juice would be fresh and no sugar but it tasted store bought and filled with sugar. Disappointed and would not return.

Nice staff. Everything was very quick. The food was perfect. Try the falafel shawarma, cheap and tasty.

Waren hier für ein spätes Mittagessen und waren positiv überrascht. Schöne Aussicht, leckere Shawarmateller und Säfte für sehr faire Preise.

Wow wow wow!! The meat wrap was incredible as was the Rugag Halva. I would have never expected the food to be this good here and so cheap. Would highly recommend!

Coffe-shop at entrance of Nizwa fort . There are tables on ground yard and upstairs on top which has nice view .

I’ve eaten the same dinner here for the past 3 nights bc it’s so cheap, delicious and filling: egg and cheese on housemade chapati (def better than the even cheaper beta bread). The first night I also had a salad which was so filling I saved half for the next day. Lots of dark green leaves which made me so happy in this land of carbs. The staff is friendly and a rooftop seating area has great views over the souq and historic Nizwa.

Très bon restaurant pour manger avant ou après une visite de la ville de Nizwa. Idéalement situé près du souq et du fort. Le personnel est très gentil Nous avons très peu attendu Je recommande

Inte ens den dödshungriga katten som satte sig vid bordet bredvid ville ha en bit av maten och det säger faktiskt allt.

12時〜13時は休憩のため閉まる。 オマーンパンやシャワルマ、ハンバーガーなどがある。味は普通に美味しい、そして安い。スムージーは一級品。 カード使用可能。 外で食べることが出来る。

La verdad que no entiendo las reseñas negativas que pueda tener este sitio. El jefe se muestra predispuesto en todo momento, es un sitio economico y lo mas importante… la comida es buenisima! Uno de los mejores fastfood de Nizwa seguro. Volveremos. Ademas tiene una ubicacion privilegiada. Un placer :)

More of my "giving credit where credit's due:" these guys have the most enviable location in all of Nizwa (which is already saying a lot), yet they still have a proactive attitude and are welcome to meeting needs of hungry and thirsty tourists. I say this because I was walking around the souq, and no one would wait on me, a paying customer. Was it too hot? Anyway, this place very politely provided me with a delicious coffee, and I had not intended to stay, but while they were preparing it, I realized just how beautiful their setup was, so I got some Omani crepes, and they were superb and very well priced despite their being clearly focused on tourist dollars. So the hospitality, good prices, and great atmosphere all lead me to highly recommend this place. I did not try their heartier dishes, though, but I am confident they can do them justice.

الموقع ممتاز جدا ولكن الخدمة المقدمة لا ترقى لجودة المكان. حيث موظف الاستقبال غير ودود ويفرض عليك خيارات محددة كذلك الأكل يقدم في صحون بلاستيك.

تجربة جديدة واسعار مناسبة. جربنا الفرايز ورهيب وجريك سلاط. انصح به ويفضل تخبرهم ايش اللي تحبه بالوجبات ويستجيبو .. وخاصه الشوارما تحددو ويش تريدو فيها ما على المنيو. اتمنى لهم التوفيق دائما وتوفير جو افضل في فصل الصيف

Outstanding atmosphere from the terrace of this quaint coffee shop. It is a multilevel restaurant with outstanding views of Nizwa fort from the terrace. Stopped by here after a visit to Nizwa Fort and filled up with delicious falafel wraps - in November '23. A definite destination the next time I am in Nizwa, Oman.

We had supper on the rooftop. Food was ok. Chicken burgers were commercial and not freshly made. Falafel and shwarma wrap were tasty. But for the price it was worth it.
