Amazing experience at Sheikh Zayed Festival during the New Year celebrations! The drone show was absolutely breathtaking and one of the best highlights of the event. Loved exploring the different country pavilions showcasing their unique cultures, food, and performances. The children’s play area and entertainment activities were fantastic and family-friendly. Everything was very well organized, clean, secure, and managed professionally despite the huge crowd. A perfect destination for families and tourists visiting Abu Dhabi. Highly recommended!

The perfect family destination in Al Wathba! We spent hours exploring the massive Funfair City and the Children’s District, which kept the kids entertained the whole night. The drone shows and fireworks are world-class and a must-see. It’s also a great cultural experience—the Heritage District and international pavilions offer amazing food and crafts. Everything is very clean, well-organized, and family-friendly with plenty of facilities. Arrive right at 4:00 PM to grab easy parking and wear comfortable shoes, as there is a lot of walking. Highly recommended for a winter night out!"

Been there many times in the past 3 years and loved all the time. Visited them this year for the first time for new years eve and it an incredible 62 min fireworks and a drone show with 6500 drones. Attached the pictures to show was 6500 drones can actually do. It was incredible and worth watching. The ticket rate is also very fair and the food was also really good.

★★★★★ Absolutely mind crazy New Year’s Eve experience at the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba! If you want to see how Abu Dhabi does a celebration, this is it. The 62-minute continuous fireworks display was unlike anything I’ve ever seen it literally felt like the sky was on fire for over an hour! It’s no wonder they broke several Guinness World Records. The scale and synchronisation were perfect. But the real showstopper for me was the drone show. Seeing 6,500 drones form massive 3D shapes and a digital countdown in the sky was pure magic. It was so high tech and perfectly timed with the music and pyrotechnics. Aside from the main show, the atmosphere was great plenty of cultural pavilions, delicious food, and traditional Emirati performances like the Al Ayala dance. It’s very family-friendly, though I definitely recommend getting there early to beat the traffic. An unforgettable way to ring in 2026. One thing to note when it all ends EVERYONE leaves so make sure you have transport organiseed buses get packed and taxi get taken really quickly. You dont want to be stranded there.

It's a wonderful festival.. think of it as a slightly scaled down version of the Global Village in Dubai. But equally fantastic. Equally exciting, beautiful, lovely place to be. It is manageable to do a full round within 1 day so if you go with the family, you can take a full round in 1 day. Still, there's a lot of places, and lots of pavilions, but manageable in one day. I loved it.

This is my first time at Sheikh Zayed Festival and the 2026 New Year celebrations were absolutely fantastic and truly memorable. There were plenty of activities, a wide variety of shops, and numerous food outlets offering something for everyone. The fire show and drone show were spectacular and very well organized. Parking was well managed with ample free parking spaces, which was a big plus. Ticket pricing was reasonable too — 10 AED on normal days and 50 AED on New Year’s Eve. The highlight was the record-breaking fireworks show that lasted for 62 minutes and even made it into the Guinness World Records — an unforgettable experience! The drone show was equally impressive, featuring creative and eye-catching designs. Watching thousands of eco-friendly balloons being released simultaneously was mesmerizing, and some of the fireworks were so unique that I was seeing them for the first time in my life. While the overall experience was amazing, a few areas need improvement. On New Year’s Eve, additional toilets and better advance traffic management would greatly help handle the massive crowd. It took nearly 4.5 hours to cover a distance that usually takes just 30 minutes on a normal day. Despite these challenges, the festival was outstanding and well worth attending. Highly recommended for families and visitors looking for a grand New Year celebration!

This light festival place is little far away from main city , we could travel through direct bus or by Taxi . If we travel by bus , it will take around 1 hour from abudhabi bus station. Once you reach there you can buy tickets using you card - fast & simple .in each entrance many tickets vending machines available so maximum one can get tickets in 5 mins. And you have pass the security check and allowed inside . You can see the picture,how it did look there . We have many gaming places , dance , cultural events , many cultural places - according the country with stalls in it . Food is bit pricey compared to outside . We can find almost all kinds of cusine in the world in the food court. Return bus to abudhabi bus station available till 12 @ night.

An Unforgettable Experience at the Sheikh Zayed Festival. I had an amazing time visiting the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba. It is a brilliant showcase of UAE's rich heritage and diverse global cultures. The pavilions are beautifully designed, and the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming. For a truly value-for-money experience in Abu Dhabi with family and friends, the Sheikh Zayed Festival is the best choice

This is essentially a smaller-scale version of Global Village. It features a great game zone with a soft play area for kids and various VR experiences. You’ll also find an ice skating rink, a horror house, and a mirror maze. There is plenty of seating throughout the venue. Note that there is currently only one food outlet offering Indian vegetarian options.

My first visit to the Sheikh Zayed Festival during the 2026 New Year celebrations was absolutely memorable. There were plenty of activities, great shopping, and a wide variety of food options. The fire, drone, and record-breaking 62-minute fireworks show were spectacular and truly unforgettable. Parking and ticket pricing were well managed and reasonable. While the experience was amazing, better traffic control and more toilets on New Year’s Eve would improve crowd handling, as the return journey took much longer than usual. Overall, a fantastic festival and highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a grand New Year celebration 🎆
