We visited Sherpa Cafe on a Sunday evening, and the experience was quite enjoyable. Our family of five was seated promptly at a table that fit us comfortably, though it was close to a ceiling speaker that was a bit louder than preferred. Despite that, we were able to chat without too much difficulty.
Service was efficient; our drinks and silverware arrived quickly, and our orders were taken soon after. We started with cheese naan and vegetable samosas. The naan had a nice texture and was fresh, though I think I'd prefer trying the garlic naan next time for more flavor. The samosas were tasty, but I found them lacking a bit of heat compared to what I'm used to.
Two of our kids ordered chicken fingers, which came with a generous portion of fries, while the third enjoyed the Beef Momos. He found them juicy and reminiscent of soup dumplings, although he wasn't a fan of the accompanying sauce. My wife had the Paneer Korma, which she liked a lot but couldn't finish, and I opted for the Chicken Makhani, which turned out to be essentially Butter Chicken. It was delicious, and like the others, I ended up with leftovers.
While the initial service was quick, it took longer than expected to receive our to-go boxes and check, which added about 20-30 minutes to our visit.
Overall, I'd recommend Sherpa Cafe. If you're not seeking spicy dishes, it's a solid choice for a family meal.
