We had a very disappointing experience at the hospital. Since 11 PM, we informed the staff that the light above the patient’s bed could not be turned off. It stayed on all night, preventing us and the child from sleeping. Despite repeated complaints, nobody fixed the issue until 12 PM the next day. Very poor response and lack of care for patient comfort

Infrastructure is outstanding, not the service though I was planning to deliver in Sidra. I had a designated Gynecologist that I followed up from beginning of pregnancy. I’m very disappointed with my experience as in-patient. I had a severe pain and went to emergency and then the doctor recommended admission. The positive is that The nurses are good and professional. The room is clean and food is amazing. Unfortunately, Sidra they care most about consuming insurance as much as possible than giving what is worth of that amount. My gynecologist did not come to see me except the last day when I was discharged. I had to ask the nurses many times “when will the doctor come see me?” They don’t know! There are no official rounds that the doctors take. The excuse? “This gynecologist doesn’t want any other doctor to miss with her patient”!!! So after asking about a doctor that could come and explain to me my condition rather than getting only nurse advices, my doctor called another doctor to come see me and this is an additional charge that occurs to the insurance! Another thing is that they would order medications as a “just in case” and put it for patients drawer and maybe you don’t need them but they are charged to your insurance as well. They have put medications that I have specifically told them NOT to order as I already have them. But still they did. Then at discharge the doctor would order some medications that you already have in your “drawer” so thats a double dipping on your insurance. You have the right to take the medications put for you. So I did that and returned the duplicated medications requested by pharmacy. Also, my doctor after finally seeing me, didn’t bother to write down all the meds that I need and asked another doctor to do so. That doctor missed an important one. So I had to wait and wait then was told discharge pharmacy is closed. They got me one pill for the night & tomorrow they will call me to get the rest. So the next day, NO ONE called and I was fed up so I just bought it from a local pharmacy. So upon checking out do go yourself to finance and ask for the breakdown of everything because many things didn’t add up. Also, they ask for insurance approval late, after they given you the treatment. So for this level of service and sucking half of insurance I decided NOT to proceed with Sidra. They could have been smarter and sensible to me, they would have gotten all insurance if I deliver there. Also, to top all of this, I discovered that the treatment given was possible to be given at home with a followup test. So the admission was not really needed!!! So before you get admitted ask very well if its is needed or not. If your case is not urgent, do not get any treatment or admission before an approval from your insurance.

One the worse health care institutions I have ever dealt with. Unprofessional way dealing with patients. My baby vaccine appointment was changed three times without one phonecall. They also changed the doctor without informing me. I tried to call and complain; also nothing. The employees couldn’t care less. They are rude, careless and unprofessional. If you are looking for a pediatrician; save your time, energy and money. Before writing this review, I tried calling and following up with every department and number available. They simply do not care about their reputation.

Emergency service in Sidra hospital is so crowded. Unless you have referral letter or came via ambulance you need to wait for a long time. Now Sidra is the only tertiary referral hospital. So always you expect delays. This actually diminished the quality of service.

After more than a year of my daughter’s daily struggle with recurrent diarrhea and visiting more than ten doctors outside Sidra Medicine without finding a clear diagnosis, we finally had the privilege of meeting Dr. Tahani Al Mughaizwi at Sidra. With her remarkable expertise and precise diagnostic skills, she identified the issue within minutes and prescribed the perfect treatment. We are deeply grateful for her professionalism, compassion, and the relief she brought to our family. Thank you, Dr. Al Mughaizwi — you truly made a difference.

من أرقى المستشفيات على مستوى العالم. الخدمة ممتازة . كادر ممتاز احدث الاجهزة موجودة. عيادات مختلف التخصصات .يتميز مستشفى السدرة بانة مركز الأبحاث في مختلف التخصصات خاصة الاطفال . يمتاز باستخدام التكنولوجية الرقمية في التعاملات داخل المستشفى ومع المرضى والمراجعين يوجد اكثر من الفان طبيب وإداري يعملون في المستشفى . نامل ان يتم فتح جميع الأقسام.

It was difficult to find the right location for the appointment as there are so many parking spaces and different departments so it was a long walk to the department. As of the service it was great very friendly staff and doctor, but while going to the lab no one explained what to do it was quite confusing as we waited for no reason!! I entered my appointment on time , others were complaining that they waited for 1 hour !! Overall it was good.. Building and interior was amazing and clean with cafes inside and I spotted 51east gift shop..

We always know living in the Middle East means there is something called “ Wasta “ , but we never knew the fact that at a hospital that “ Wasta “ also comes in….. it is so sad when me & my wife berly have chances to take off work hours in order to go to our appointments at Sidra & then you notice that someone who apperantly has connections , gets to take your turn & instead of your actual appointment you sit 1-1.5 hrs extra waiting till they let you in It’s sad Sidra is considered one of the cleanest hospitals yet this is how they treat there patients. We miss out on work , we spend a whole day wasted , we had planned our day based on 1 hr appt then go back to work then grab lunch , then it leads to 3 hours at the hospital , missed out at work & a hungry pregnant wife with me. So sad sidra

Greatest medical center, never expected one to look and feel so good. No wonder patients will be cured. Best quickest service, friendly staff.

If you’re going for gynecological issues, honestly save yourself the time don’t come here. The doctors are so condescending and lazy, already diagnosing you without ordering a blood draw or ultrasound. Having gone to many, this might have been my worst experience. Gynecology is already an under researched field but these doctors don’t make things any better. Presenting me with solutions that have been around since Marie Antoinette’s time. Pointless.

Lovely building. It has a bank (QNB) and retail outlets. The building is clean and nice looking. The escalators were being repaired but the lift was working. I didn't need either. I went in for a PCR test because I was travelling. It was a very fast process (10mins). I got my results 5-6 hours later which was what I needed because I was travelling in 36hours. The certificate was emailed to me which was great! The staff were friendly. The test centre was not to busy and there was a big car park which was also not busy.

My baby has hole(TOF)when he born we know in Hmc baby have TOF hole after 1 year they did surgery and my baby recovered well staff and doctors surgeon anesthesia nurse housekeeping is very good with communication ❤️ They gave me big good happiness to surgery my baby successfully God bless all the saff of this hospital pay God give strength to all surgeons to recover all the patients successfully My baby started new life again🥰 all blessings to sidra management,and staff May good bless my baby New life he will be fine and strong 💪 Thank you All staff and management 🙏 Im happy to see my baby healthy and active....

the plastic surgery division might be good for small procedures like suturing cuts but not for aesthetic procedures like rhinoplasty and lip correction. Dr. Mitchell Stotland ruined mu daughter's lip and upon follow-up suggests a revision that will further ruin the blunder he committed earlier. they treat people and children like ragdolls for their experiments

It's a shame really. Given the complete runaround about where to be and what to do. It's such a lovely hospital but they haven't got a clue what to do with teens. "Follow policy" that's all they know when there are bigger problems.

Very good hospital for kids I loved their hospitality
