It was super enjoyable staying with Silkhaus! The customer service is excellent and very prompt to respond - this is very much appreciated! Ihad booked a studio apartment in DIFC for 28 days and had a great stay. The apartment was well equipped, very nicely decorated with European holiday vibes and super clean. Will definitely recommend to another one who’s looking for a stay in Dubai.

My worst booking experience in Abu Dhabi was with Silkhaus. I booked an apartment with them for one month, and within the first 10 days, the place was already in very bad condition not clean at all and full of issues. I contacted their team multiple times asking them to fix the problems, but unfortunately nothing was actually resolved. Every time, the response was just “we’ll check and get back to you,” but no real action was taken. Because of the poor service, I decided to cancel my stay and move out. Even getting my refund back became another stressful experience. I had to keep following up and contacting them repeatedly, and nobody seemed to care or respond properly. Their after-service and customer support are extremely disappointing. It honestly feels like the only thing that matters to them is taking the payment, and after that, the customer is no longer important. Very unprofessional experience, and I would not recommend dealing with them.

I had a deeply disappointing experience. We arrived to find the property in an unacceptable state of cleanliness, and the check-in instructions were incorrect. As a result, my mother was left waiting outside for two hours due to misleading information. Although management initially promised to send a cleaning team, they failed to follow through, leaving my belongings at risk because of inaccurate claims from their staff. This has been one of the most stressful experiences I’ve ever had with a property management company. Based on this, I cannot recommend staying at a Silkhaus apartment. The level of service and support we received was far below expectations, and I would strongly advise others to consider alternative options.

My experience with Silkhaus was an honest reflection of the strengths and weaknesses of the business. The business rents a series of higher-spec holiday homes across the UAE with a strong portfolio to choose from. Their service quality is strong - however - it is clear their corporate service support is significantly stronger than their public service. When I used their public support emails, it was mostly automated or not very useful responses, but when using their corporate bookings side I was put in touch with Nour Kamal - Nour was quick, responsive, useful, and looked at alternatives where possible. During the challenges faced during this March, that was extremely valuable. For instance, when I found my flights cancelled and had nowhere to go, Nour quickly identified a new property and worked with me to get moved. Nour is likely the reason I'd use the service again. Their Whatsapp service is very useful as it responds very quickly to any issues. For example we had a leak, a damaged lamp, neighbour issues etc - all of which were quickly addressed when pressure was applied. On the negative - sometimes the service can be unempathetic to challenges faced from a perspective of policy. Please note there is a strict 14 day information policy for any refunds, this won't be supported for any extenuating circumstances. The thing that really concerns me is that I do feel some of the prices are so inflated to be unreasonable on certain properties which are simply not worth the pricing they are placed at. This can feel a bit predatory to me at times. The properties are usually 90% like the photos but be aware during your stay you will face some issues with leaks, neighbours, reception and shared areas not matching the apartment, and damages from poor prior tenants to be fixed. When you choose what you're willing to pay, consider this it not a hotel as such and isn't going to be to that standard. Silkhaus is a "good" business with apartments in strong locations. There are teething issues and they will do better with more humans and negotiators online. For instance, before I went through corporate, I couldn't find anyone to help me negotiate better pricing. Overall, though, as long as you're a bit aware of what you're paying for I recommend the business overall at around 4 stars.

The accommodation was clean and very well located. Perfect in terms of layout, everything is there and the residence has all the amenities expected. Swimming pool, supermarket, gym, children's games, Muay Thai club and parking. Go with your eyes closed because it is an exceptional location. THANK YOU

I had a very frustrating experience with Silkhaus. Their management team is extremely poor at solving problems. Despite repeatedly raising that the balcony issue put my belongings at risk, they failed to fix it throughout my entire stay. Every “solution” they offered either didn’t address the real problem. If I don't chase or follow up, they will never proactively reach out and update me on the issue. What’s worse is that they didn’t offer any real compensation for the time, effort, and risk I had to deal with because of their negligence. I expected much better from a company that markets itself as professional accommodation management, but their handling of this situation showed a serious lack of accountability and care for their guests. For future customer, please think twice before booking with Silkhaus. I can imagine that if things go smoothly, your experience might be okay but if you face any issues, don't have high hopes that Silkhaus will fix it.

Unfortunately, my experience with Silkhaus has been a very negative one. I booked and paid for an apartment days in advance. Once I was there with my husband and our baby, I was told to wait for 10 minutes for someone to arrive to help us check in. 10 minutes turned into 2 hours of constant lies and stalling only to have our reservation cancelled in the end with no alternatives offered. It was disgusting and stressful beyond measure. I will never again, in my wildest dreams, book an apartment with this agency. Stay alert!

We had an awful experience. Poor communication from our property manager. Peeling paint, stained walls, mold, poor water pressure, ratty towels and sheets, then bed bugs to top it off. We got to terminate the rest of our booked trip, but it was an experience i could never repeat.

I rented with Silkhaus for 3 months at waters edge Yas Island, and my experience was outstanding thanks to two incredible people: Shifah and Paul. Shifah is truly the All-Star of the team. Not only did she take care of her own responsibilities with professionalism and care, but she even went above and beyond by personally showing me the apartment at the start — something she didn’t have to do. Whenever I faced challenges, I was able to reach out to her directly, and she always made sure everything was handled quickly and smoothly. Having that personal level of support made all the difference, and I sincerely hope Silkhaus recognizes how valuable she is. They need more like her! Paul was also amazing — personable, supportive, and solution-oriented. He helped me explore the best prices and tailored options to fit my situation while I was searching for a long-term rental in Abu Dhabi. His guidance made the process so much easier. Thanks to them, I felt at home with Silkhaus from start to finish.

My stay at Mariva Vista was a perfect 10/10. The location is excellent very close to the Marina, popular tourist spots, and the beach. The apartment matched the pictures exactly: spacious, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The views were absolutely spectacular, ideal for filming and enjoying stunning Dubai sunsets. Michael was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to ensure my family felt comfortable and was always available to assist. The entire process was smooth and hassle-free. I’m very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this place!

I have stayed at Silkhaus 3-4 times now and honestly each stay was incredible. The apartments are beautiful - modern, stylish and cosy. The amenities perfect - exactly what we needed with some special touches like olive oil and snacks. More so, the service was great - the 24/7 concierge were always responsive and helpful when I had any questions. 100% recommend Silkhaus!!

Review update from 1 star to 4 star! We were reached out to by the ops manager Del, who stayed in close contact and tried to provide us with a better experience for the rest of our trip. We really appreciate her effort! To make up for our initial troubles with no towels and no communication (also no hot water halfway through our stay), we were refunded for one night’s stay and then provided private transportation to the airport. I can’t say our experience was stellar due to some mishaps but it concluded in a positive note thanks to Del!

WARNING ⚠️ We did the biggest mistake to book via Silkhaus. We were to be checked in one of their Abu Dhabi properties and they harassed the life out of us. We reached the property and the property manager told us that they haven’t received any communication from Silkhaus. We shared all our details 20 days back. We checked with Silkhaus team if everything is good to go. They gave us affirmation that we can go. We travelled from India to Abu Dhabi and we weren’t allowed to check in. They asked us to contact the buildings management company for which we had to be on a waiting for 20 mins. Then three different representatives of the company called us and asked us to find the building management and let them talk to Silkhaus. This went on for 2 hours. When we asked them to cancel and refund they said they can’t cancel from their end. We then had to go on a call with Airbnb support to get refund while using a UAE sim card. One of us had a neck injury and we had to go through this for 2 hours with no resolution. We had informed them beforehand to make sure we don’t have to go through this trouble as we had a medical issue. Thankfully we booked through Airbnb and we got full refund from Airbnb end, Silkhaus customer support was absolute worst

Dear Silkhaus Management, I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint regarding the delay in the return of my deposit of AED 2,500 for the apartment I rented through your company. I completed the check-out process more than six weeks ago, and your team assured me that the deposit would be refunded within 7–14 working days. However, it has now been over one and a half months, and I still have not received my deposit. This is absolutely unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
