Ho visitato la Basilica un paio di settimane fa. Dalla stazione di Santa Lucia si raggiunge a piedi in circa 20–25 minuti con passo sostenuto. Consiglio vivamente il percorso a piedi: permette di immergersi nelle strette calli e attraversare i ponti sui canali, rendendo l’arrivo ancora più suggestivo. Le indicazioni lungo il tragitto sono puntuali e aiutano a orientarsi verso Piazza San Marco; in caso di dubbi, Google Maps è sempre un valido supporto. È fortemente consigliato acquistare i biglietti in anticipo dal sito ufficiale: l’ingresso alla Basilica (piano terra) costa 10 €, mentre per accedere ai sepolcri, al primo piano, alle torri e ad altre aree sono necessari biglietti aggiuntivi. Consiglio anche l’audioguida (6 €), anche se potrebbe essere necessario attendere una decina di minuti per il ritiro. A causa dell’elevato numero di visitatori, anche nei giorni feriali, l’accesso non è immediato. Tuttavia, una volta entrati, l’attesa viene ampiamente ripagata. L’interno della Basilica è completamente ricoperto da splendidi mosaici dorati: un colpo d’occhio straordinario, un tempo riservato ai dogi e solo in seguito aperto alla popolazione. Uno sfarzo che raramente si trova in altre basiliche. La visita lascia davvero senza parole, permettendo di immergersi nella storia e nella grandezza della Repubblica di Venezia. Esperienza altamente consigliata.

What a beautiful church, we went on a tour and we saw the St. Mark's Basilica & Doge's Palace at the same time. This building was phenomenal on how it looked on inside. You could just feel the history and the energy in there when you walk in. We ended up purchasing her tickets through GetYourGuide, which is very convenient.

La Basilica di San Marco è uno dei monumenti più importanti di Venezia. L'architettura è impressionante, con dettagli e mosaici che catturano subito l'attenzione. Anche l'interno è ricco di storia, arte e bellezza. La visita è un'esperienza affascinante che permette di apprezzare uno dei simboli più importanti della città.

Hay lugares en Venecia que impresionan, y luego está la Basílica de San Marcos, que directamente te deja sin aliento. Es de esos sitios que, aunque hayas visto en fotos mil veces, cuando los tienes delante entiendes de verdad por qué son tan especiales. La fachada, los detalles, la grandeza del conjunto… todo tiene algo majestuoso, casi irreal. Pero lo más impactante llega al entrar. Ese interior lleno de historia, de luz dorada y de una belleza que te envuelve por completo, hace que no sepas muy bien hacia dónde mirar primero. Es uno de esos lugares que no solo se visitan, se sienten. Te obliga a bajar el ritmo, a mirar con calma y a disfrutar de cada rincón como si estuvieras dentro de una obra de arte. Si estás en Venecia, esta visita no puede faltar. No es solo una basílica, es uno de esos lugares que consiguen que el viaje suba de nivel y se convierta en algo todavía más memorable. De lo más impresionante que puedes ver en la ciudad.

Monument exceptionnel à ne pas manquer, pensez à visiter le musée ! La Basilique Saint-Marc est absolument magnifique. Les vitraux et les mosaïques sont époustouflants, avec plus de 8 000 mètres carrés de mosaïques dorées qui recouvrent l'intérieur. Un spectacle visuel inoubliable. Le gros point fort, c'est que la visite ne se limite pas à la basilique elle-même (qui se fait assez rapidement). Il faut absolument monter au musée à l'étage ! Là-haut, vous découvrirez encore plus de fresques et de mosaïques, mais surtout les célèbres chevaux de Saint-Marc en bronze, datant du 4ème siècle et ramenés de Constantinople en 1204. Les chevaux visibles en extérieur sont des copies, les originaux sont protégés à l'intérieur du musée. La terrasse offre une vue spectaculaire sur la place Saint-Marc et le Palais des Doges. C'est l'endroit parfait pour prendre de magnifiques photos avec les chevaux au premier plan. Attention : les escaliers pour monter et descendre au musée sont assez raides, ce qui rend l'accès difficile pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Un monument historique incontournable de Venise !

Bazylika Świętego Marka to jedno z tych miejsc, które naprawdę zapierają dech w piersiach. Już sam widok fasady, pełnej detali, kolumn i złotych mozaik, sprawia, że człowiek na chwilę przystaje i po prostu patrzy. W środku jest jeszcze piękniej – złocone sklepienia, bizantyjskie mozaiki i niezwykła gra światła tworzą atmosferę skupienia i zachwytu. To nie jest zwykły kościół do „odhaczenia” na liście atrakcji, ale przestrzeń, którą się chłonie wszystkimi zmysłami. Bilet wstępu kosztuje 10 euro i zdecydowanie warto kupić go wcześniej przez internet. Rezerwacja online daje komfort i pewność wejścia o konkretnej godzinie, bez stresu i stania w długiej kolejce na placu św. Marka. Organizacja wejścia jest sprawna, a cały proces przebiega bardzo płynnie. Samo zwiedzanie trwa od 10 do 30 minut, w zależności od tempa i liczby odwiedzających. To wystarczająco dużo czasu, by nacieszyć oczy wnętrzem i zrobić kilka zdjęć, a jednocześnie na tyle krótko, by bez problemu wpasować wizytę w intensywny plan zwiedzania Wenecji. To miejsce obowiązkowe dla każdego, kto chce poczuć historię i wyjątkowy klimat miasta.

This is a beautiful Basilica next to the Doge’s palace. We got the museum tickets which allow you to go up into the top of the cathedral. I highly recommend this, you can see the mosaics a lot closer and see some of the renovations that have been done over the years. This also gives you roof access to see out into the square. There are audio guides available or you can buy a tour if you want more information.

Mega Aussicht Wer in Venedig ist muss diesen Turm besuchen. Keine Angst man muss keine Stufen laufen es gibt einen Aufzug also ganz entspannt! Aber Achtung, es kann sein je nach Tageszeit dass die Glocken im Turm angehen wenn man gerade oben steht, es ist verdammt laut 🤣🔔 Aber sonst ein absolutes Muss

The basilica was… phenomenal. One word came to my mind consistently and that was “reverent”. The atmosphere inside is one of pure reverence and awe. I recommend buying a full pass to view everything. The body of St. Mark is a MUST see, the upstairs portion is a museum of artifacts that hadn’t been viewed by the public in several hundred years, the architecture itself is incredible, and the rooftop view overlooking the square is just incredible. Being so close to the body of an apostle is.. an experience to be sure

Avec le palais des Doges, c’est une autre visite incontournable à faire à Venise. Et comme pour le palais attenant, on tout simplement impressionné par la richesse et la grandeur des décors que ce soit au niveau du sol ou encore sur les murs avec de magnifiques mosaïques. On sent d’ailleurs très bien l’influence byzantine. Je recommande fortement de réserver les billets à l’avance (même s’il n’y avait que très peu de queue le jour où nous y sommes allés) et de prendre le parcours complet. Ça en vaut largement le coup que ce soit pour admirer la magnifique Pala d’oro (grand retable richement décoré) ou encore gagner en hauteur et s’approcher au plus près des mosaïques tout en ayant un point de vue global de la basilique. On a également accès à la terrasse de la basilique qui offre une vue sympathique sur la place Saint-Marc ainsi qu’à un musée (toujours au sein du monument) avec une riche collection de mobiliers notamment mais pas que. Ça vaut vraiment le coup.

Der Markusdom ist das beeindruckendste Beispiel für byzantinische Architektur in Westeuropa. Sobald man das Innere betritt, versteht man, warum sie auch „Goldene Basilika“ genannt wird: Über 8.000 Quadratmeter Goldmosaike bedecken die Kuppeln und Wände. Das Lichtspiel da drin ist wirklich einzigartig und erzeugt eine fast mystische Atmosphäre. Die Kirche ist ein unglaubliches Zeugnis für den Reichtum, den Venedig durch den Handel mit dem Orient angehäuft hat. Es ist prunkvoll, stellenweise fast überladen, aber handwerklich auf einem Niveau, das man heute kaum noch findet.
