I would say it’s a great value for paid money Nice clean place, excellent services with fast action to any requests Just I would say one thing guests need to take into account: It’s really Sky room with wonderful terrance, view and very peaceful. Just you need to step up on a round steps up to 3 levels, you need to be used to this. And the host will bring you your luggage up For me it was the advantage, as I loved the terrace and upper location There were few minor questions which the host solved immediately I would highly recommend the Benjamins’s place and high level services Thanks a lot for my lovely stay! I stayed at this BnB for two days. I will list out the pros first - - The AC works well - It is close to the beach, around 10mins walk - The host was fairly responsive The cons - - The place was difficult to find as there was no board or anything anywhere - The kitchen garbage was still not cleaned from the last guests - The cutlery was rusted - The plastic cutlery has some sort of moulds on it - The bathroom has used soap - The bathroom holder was heavily rusted - Room clock not working - The electric kettle base has stains - The electric stove was heavily rusted - This place has a narrow staircase going upto the bnb, so if you have heavy luggage then beware Believing this place to be so highly rated and the host managing other properties aswell, I was hoping it would be maintained in much better condition. The upkeep is absent. Since I was travelling with an infant, it was difficult for me to cook meals or relocate to another location on such short notice. The owner did offer to refund full money but I chose to stay for above reason Review Updated (3rd April 2025) Owner : "We were informed that upon arrival, you were heavily intoxicated." My reply : I do not know where the breath analyzer was kept but I was travelling with a baby, and my family and NO I was not intoxicated. No matter what anyone says, I know I was sober. This is no way related to the bad condition of your property. If the previous reviews are checked, even others have expressed similar query of not being able to find your property. Besides, I called on the number you provided in your Airbnb reply, no one picked up. Blaming your Owner : "Bathroom Holder We acknowledge that the bathroom holder was rusted, and we had already planned for its replacement. " My reply : If you typically change the rusted items, then why does your own reviews, going back as far as a year have the exact same complaints ? I request others to please go through the past reviews as well. Even the last review complained of bad housekeeping. I request the owner to stop giving excuses and fix the property to its airbnb photo standards.

My stay at an Airbnb fell short of expectations due to misleading advertisement and poor cleanliness. The property was neglected, with dirty rooms, bathrooms, and inadequately cleaned amenities. The promised features were either dysfunctional or dirty, like the stained sky view ceiling and broken curtain for privacy. Despite the host's quick response to complaints, the cleaning effort was minimal and ineffective. Although the location was favorable and in a quiet neighborhood, the overall experience was marred by the significant difference between the listing's photos and the actual condition of the property. It's a place with potential, but it needs honest representation and thorough maintenance.

Location is about 40 mins tuk tuk ride from Colombo. Apartment is clean, well maintained with spacious bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and you have to climb up a winding narrow staircase, so best attempted with a backpack instead of luggage.

Amazing room and location. The room is big and has everything you need . A kitchen , seating area and air conditioning was very good. The highlight of the house is its beautiful architecture and an amazing washroom. Would recommend it to everybody.

Very beautifully designed, spacious one bedroom suites at very affordable price. conveniently located for great dining options, shopping and the mount beach.

Stuffy living room, though facilities and privacy is good. But the location was not clear when i made booking via AirBnb. No parking.. and transportation is not that convenient.

A very nice place to relax and let go. The outdoor kichenette is a nice touch, would recommend to anyone getting away from the bustle of the city.

Absolutely adorable couple how you to the most wonderfully located apartment. The apartment is a just a walk away from the ocean and all the up scale market areas.
