Smoki Moto

The food was ok - I was a bit disappointed with the butcher’s choice box given that the menu and the whole butchery experience as you walk in is such a prime feature that is hyped. Very pricy for what it was. The starters were great (Korean Chicken, Oysters, Wagyu Tartare) - those oysters are absolutely worth going back for. Cocktails and mocktails were lovely, and unlike every other place in Dubai, weren’t just a huge block of ice with hardly any drink, so 10/10 for that. The tiramisu bingsu (shaved ice) was very different and enjoyable. Atmosphere, decor, music - top notch. Service was mostly excellent - Rahul and Frank are legends. Just one small niggle - once we had our dessert served, it seems we became invisible. We wanted to order more drinks and coffee, after waiting and waiting and trying to catch someone’s eye, we eventually called it a night and left. At AED 670, the butcher’s box section of Wagyu to have on the BBQ - while it was a good size at 600g, we did feel the selection of meat was very ordinary. Didn’t feel like a good quality Wagyu - more like ordinary beef. Still, you can go and enjoy a wide range of the starters, tapas-style, and it will be a really good night out.

I will start by admitting that being from the US...neither my wife or I are traditionally fans of Korean BBQ. In fact, had we not been staying at the hotel and had soke medical restrictions...we woukd have passed on this all together. THANK GOODNESS WE DID NOT!!! There was not a thing on the menu that we had that wasn't mind blowing. From the apps to the a5 wagyu ( wife had never had )....everything was incredible. We had "mocktails" that were super tasty and our cook nailed the steaks perfectly. I would have NEVER considered wrapping wagyu in lettuce and filling it with other things but man...amazing. We had 200g of the a5 and 200g of ribeye to balance out the richness amd it was nearly perfect. I will say that the A5 wasn't as fall apart in your mouth buttery as I have had before but dang close! And for the selections of cuts and price...well well worth it. Would have come back here another night if we could have but sometimes leaving the rest to memory is best! If your ever our at Palm Jumeirah...check this place out. The 4.8 on google is every bit earned!!!

I’m not typically a “steakhouse person” but this was genuinely the best dinner I’ve had in Dubai. Incredibly delicious, great interior with well thought out details and very knowledgeable staff. BIG portions. DJ set the vibe but music was quiet enough to speak which we appreciated. Loved seeing both the beef tartar and steaks coming together on the table. Our chef Ravi was very skilled and explained everything so well. The service was on the slower side, but it was very busy for a Wednesday evening (and just before Christmas). Service was always accurate though and we weren’t in a rush :) We sat inside for the full experience, the terrace is lovely with great views if you’re just having drinks. My partner had the Smoki Black cocktail which was fantastic, extensive wine list. Absolutely perfect, if you’re looking for a dinner experience and enjoy meat with Korean flavors it’s a must when in Dubai!

Every person who served us was brilliant and so helpful!! The steak experience being cooked at the table was amazing and we really enjoyed how the chef told us about the cut of meat as he was cooking it and what he'd recommend to have with it. There is alot of choice so we went with the Butchers box which was a great option to try lot's of things. A superb dinner and overall experience!

I really enjoyed my visit to Smoki Moto Dubai. The place looks modern and cozy, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The service was fast, and they made sure everything went smoothly. The food was amazing — the meat was fresh and cooked perfectly. The whole Korean BBQ experience was fun and easy to enjoy. It’s a great spot to eat with friends or family. I’ll definitely come back again!

Smoki Moto at the JW Marriott Palm Jumeirah is an absolute standout. The steak was cooked to perfection rich, smoky, and full of flavour easily one of the best I’ve had in Dubai. The cocktails were just as impressive: creative, perfectly balanced, and ideal for a relaxed evening. The vibe is effortlessly chilled yet stylish, making it the perfect spot for a laid-back dinner or a night out. What really elevated the experience was the service attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without being over the top.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The food was fantastic and the staff were genuinely some of the loveliest people. We had the pleasure of being served by Ravi and Kareem, and they made our night. Ravi cooked incredible steak and was such a lovely guy, and Kareem was great chat, super down to earth and welcoming. A huge thank you to both of them; they honestly had such a big impact on our evening. Both top guys🙌🏼❤️ Would absolutely recommend and visit again!

100 million stars if I could, johnny served and prepared our steaks on our table. Was amazing & informative, kareem our server was amazing. He recommended a cocktail for me that I loved. I really had the best steak ever here & the best raw salmon ever. The fish and meat were so fresh. The variety of sides & salt was amazing.

Smoki Moto is a Korean fine-dining restaurant operated by Marriott, where everything from the interior design to the Palm Jumeirah view feels both sophisticated and Instagrammable. However, the service definitely needs improvement. Even after I asked to grill the meat slowly, the server insisted on placing everything on the grill at once, saying they were “busy” — with only two servers handling many tables. I had no choice but to let him cook the rest all at once. For a place where you easily spend around AED 400–500 per person, limiting the live grill tables to just two hours feels disappointing. We even had to move to another table just to finish our dessert. Although the restaurant manager kindly offered us a complimentary dessert, it came a bit too late to make up for the experience. Maybe they should take some notes from Danny Meyer on hospitality. On the brighter side, the unlimited Korean-style side dishes called “Banchan” and the fresh wrapping vegetables known as “Ssam” were a thoughtful touch. “Moto” refers to the bull sculpture displayed at the entrance.

분위기도 좋고 직원분들도 친절하다. 고기의 퀄리티도 좋고, 소금이나 소스를 여러개 골라 찍어 먹는 맛이 있었다. 전반적으로 다 괜찮은데 아쉽게도 음악이 크게 들려서 대화를 할 만한 장소는 아니라는 생각이 들었다.. 마무리 디저트로 망고 빙수까지 정말 좋았다. 식사의 양은 충분하다고 느껴졌다.

All the staff were very nice and polite, made us feel truly welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was full of flavours. The ambiance was beautiful and very relaxing, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place.

This restaurant has a stunning design and a very calm atmosphere. The highlight is that the chef comes right to your table and cooks in front of you such a great experience! The steaks were excellent, especially the tenderloin filet steak we ordered. The lamb chops were not my favorite, but the rest of the dishes were absolutely fantastic. The sauces were delicious, and everything was explained beautifully by the staff. Service was outstanding, and the whole experience was truly memorable. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great steakhouse in Dubai definitely worth a visit!

Jignesh (chef) made the most amazing food. Genuinely amazing experience, very humble soul. Came and greeted us at the table. Ganesh (our waiter) was fantastic. Made the whole experience for us. Super friendly. Really lovely environment, fantastic food. Will definitely be visiting again on my trip

Honestly, I had heard the name Smoki Moto so many times, but somehow never made it there — until yesterday. And wow… it was absolutely incredible. Some of the best steaks in Dubai, cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor. The service was outstanding, and the whole experience was just next level. What I loved most is that you can cook your steak right at your table, which makes it so interactive, fun, and beautifully presented. It’s not just about the steaks though — the menu is super diverse. I tried this airy truffle omelet for the first time in my life, and it was divine. Every dish I tried was thoughtful, delicious, and perfectly crafted. The atmosphere is intimate, stylish, and really aesthetic — the kind of place you want to come back to again and again. Smoki Moto is now officially on my list of must-visit restaurants in Dubai.

You don’t need to be a steak eater to fully enjoy this place! (I’m not). The menu selection offered a wide array of dishes, both vegetarian and not. We ordered a few plates to share and absolutely everything was incredible. Honey Butter Potato Jeon was mouthwatering. We added caviar for extra on top - highly recommend. We also ordered lamb chops, Japchae, Classic bibimbap, and assorted grilled vegetables. It ended up being too much for 2 people. The portions are pretty large. But I cannot stress enough how spectacular everything tasted. You can’t go wrong! Decent service. We got a full walkthrough and recommendations of the menu when we were sat at our table. Good mocktail menu. Indoor and outdoor patio seating available. Nice views from here for sunset. During the winter a light jacket and the outdoor heating lamps were needed to be comfortable. I would recommend snagging a reservation. Even with a reservation, we were told they needed the table in 2 hours so we couldn’t stick around for as long as we wished. Busy around New Years!

I visited Smoki Moto yesterday with my family and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with great music that added to the lively vibe without being too loud. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The highlight for us was definitely the food. The selection of meats was top-quality, and everything we tried was cooked to perfection. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, making it a real treat for both the eyes and the palate. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into the dining experience here, from the ambiance to the ingredients. We left full and happy, and I’d be more than happy to visit again. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing experience at Smoki Moto. Ganesh was our server and he was so fun to be served by him. All the food was phenomenal and the wagyu melted in my mouth. I highly recommend the honey butter potato pancake!!

I had an unforgettable experience at Smoky Motto Steakhouse. Every dish was incredible, with flavors crafted to perfection. The Wagyu was absolutely outstanding—tender and melting in my mouth with every bite. The cocktails were top-notch, mixed with care and attention to the finest detail. The place itself has an amazing energy, with stylish interior design that sets the perfect mood. The music added just the right atmosphere, and the service was flawless from start to finish. Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Finally made it to Smoki Moto after being on the list for a while and I’m so glad I did. Amazing steak and the combination with the Korean sides and condiments was out of this world. Very pricey but overall worth it for a unique experience. Great vibes. I sat at the bar and the bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Sincerely amazed by this spot. Everything was incredible. The ambiance is 10/10, cozy, vibey and top tier. The service is impeccable from the host to our server Ganesh who truly took his time to explain everything to us. The manager Probath was also very attentive through the whole dinner & made sure we were well taken care of. We are so happy to have chosen this spot for a phenomenal steak night. Will 100% be coming back very soon ✨🥩♥️
