We had the most wonderful brunch at Sofra BLD. Amit and Rathna were absolutely amazing – attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming throughout. They made the entire experience feel effortless and special. Danilo, F&B manager was most attentive with our feedback and we appreciate his oversight and management. We opted for the champagne package, which was beautifully curated and complemented the food perfectly. The spread was impressive – a wide range of fresh options from seafood to made-to-order grills, with something to suit every taste. The variety and quality truly accommodate all parties. The live music added such a lovely ambiance, and we appreciated having the option to sit either indoors or outdoors depending on the vibe we wanted. A fantastic brunch experience from start to finish.

Terrible experience. Staff were super rude. I asked one staff where the drinks are in the buffet. They told me I have to order it seperately. Even water. What kind of 5 star hotel buffet that charges 300AED doesnt have a drinks section part of the buffet? No juice. No water. Fine, but then when I brought this up with the staff they mentioned that I can go somewhere else 😂. Next time I will. Zero understanding of hospitality. Not only that but when I got home tured out I got food poisoning! First time ever in UAE after being here for almost 5 years now! I was already going to leave a bad review but this made it even worse. Total embarrassment to ShangriLa. I have also brought this up with the hotel too.

Our family had a truly enjoyable dining experience here, thanks to Mr. Dickson’s outstanding service. He was very polite, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. His warm hospitality made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our dining experience. Our whole family was very happy and satisfied ❤️

A Beautiful Restaurant that enhances the local beauty. Location is easy to access, with professional and welcoming valet services. Lobby with a view. Easy to reach from the lobby, their all-day dining. Pretty ambiance, dimmed lights where the buffet is. It was not that crowded, nice seats by the window. The breakfast buffet itself is very strong with food variety. Local flavors are emphasized as well, and you can find major breakfast items of each major culture. Loved the fact that they had 100% gluten-free items on the buffet. So you do not have to ask and feel awkward. Healthy options are highlighted, but they have ice cream variations too. I eat soups for breakfast and love the fact that they put an effort into making delicious soup, even though it is not a popular choice. A lot of items that you will not see in other places were present, so again, a big variety. Chefs were very approachable and helpful. Food is delicious, each item on the buffet was so tasty, you can see a lot of effort put. The chef passing around and offering some food items was something unique. We had a really nice breakfast. It was a nice choice of a restaurant and time for us, as we are with a toddler, and in some places you do not feel that comfortable, or the atmosphere is too hectic for small kids. Here, even our small one had a great time and enjoyed breakfast. Ahmed and Dixon made our experience even more delightful. Service is great and what you would expect from Shangri-La.

Another lovely brunch! We’ve been regular customers for a long time, and after three years in Abu Dhabi I can honestly say this place feels like our second home 😊. The atmosphere is always warm and familiar, and the entire team is consistently attentive to our requests. A special thank you to Mr. Uvishka, and not only to him, but to all the Waiters, the Chefs, Managers and the amazing performer. It’s always a pleasure to enjoy some Spanish music during our visits. With a 5-star hotel brand, the expectation for food quality and service is naturally high. We had dinner on Friday night, which was advertised as a seafood and steak night. Sadly, the seafood options were very limited—only broiled and cold prawns, and white clams (no fresh oysters). At the grill station, the grilled fish was served cold and tasteless. The grilled freshwater giant prawns ran out around 7:30–8:00 pm, even while customers were still arriving, and were replaced with regular grilled prawns that were not fresh at all (the meat was soft and falling apart). The sushi section had more variety, but the taste was average. Overall, there weren’t many choices, and drinks were not included. The dessert section had more variety. If you have a sweet tooth, you would love it. However, paying 280++ for this quality is not worth it. Service was also lacking—staff did not clear used plates from our table promptly. The atmosphere and toilets were clean, but overall, the experience was below expectations.

My family and I are continuous and returning customers of Sofra for their Saturday Brunch. This time we came back for my Grandma’s birthday - she loves the performer and the food. Service from Charmaine, Dickson, Essam, and Arjun was impeccable today. Not the first time and definitely not the last time we’re visiting. Kudos team!

We've always loved the food at Sofra at the Shangri-La Qariyat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi and now we can add that's they definitely have gotten even better than before. A business meeting became a lunch and the lunch went on for two hours so you can imagine how good the food, ambiance and most importantly, the company was. Thanks for the hospitality. The biryani was simply out of this world and the Thai Red curry was killer.

My wife and I had a lovely lunch at Sofra and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The food selection was excellent — a wide variety of delicious dishes that were both flavorful and well-presented. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal together. Special mention to Dickson and Sai for his attentive and friendly service — he made our experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

The breakfast is Awesome 👌 value for money and they have many varieties. As they say eat breakfast like a king, so this is the place to feel the same. I love the ambience, the food 😋 You must try.

The waiters were attentive, professional, warm, and made the whole experience feel effortless and special. Sofra is one of our go to restaurants every Christmas season but since the cousin of my friend val visited UAE from singapore. We want her to experience the best that abudhabi can offer . Indeed SOFRA never fails us the service is 7 ⭐️ because of Mr. Dickson he is really good and the whole package including the food.

We went for my wife birthday celebration along with our kids and family relatives. The food is tasteful and you had many choices of varieties. The place is surrounded with beautiful backgrounds and decorations. The location and the parking is easy to acess. All the crews staff are very generous and kind. In terms of charges and cost, if you dont have a vouchers or discounts promotions. They offered on the spot membership and avail the 15% discount. Overall, we had a great and amazing experienced which we have considered to go back for the next celebrations and holidays.

Location of hotel away from city , around the beach with Grand mosque view and hotel it self is beautiful designed and decorated. Their breakfast buffet was amazing . Loads of live cooking stations, freaky squeezed juices , chocolate fountain, vegan options, Asian and Middle Eastern options. And warm and excellent service . They have indoor and outdoor both areas for breakfast.

Fantastic place. We used the entertainer to avail of the offer Buy one get one free. It wad well worth it. The food was unbelievable. So much to choose from. Excellent for vegeterians. Fresh juices, salads, omelette, Chinese section, Indian section, dessert section. Healthy options, Arabic section with local Emirati dishes. Fantastic service . So kind and courteous. Will go again next month inshallah.

We had an amazing time at Sofra’s brunch buffet! The variety of dishes was impressive, with everything from fresh pastries to perfectly cooked meats, seafood and delicious desserts. What made the experience even better was the exceptional service from Mildred, Ruwan, Abdullah, Mon and Yan. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for a delicious and memorable brunch!
