I was very disappointed with both the service and the way customers are treated.
My expectations were quite high for House of Soha, as I had been following and admiring their work through social media while living in the US and Canada. Before coming to India, I spent time enquiring about appointments and services, but I found that no one could clearly explain the available services or provide a transparent price list. While pricing itself is not my primary concern, customers should be informed upfront about the services and associated costs.
During my visit, I got a hair color treatment, a trim, and a HydraFacial. I noticed inconsistencies in pricing, and although there was an ongoing promotion, it was not applied automatically—I had to specifically ask for it. The person handling billing was not pleasant to deal with, which added to the negative experience.
I spent nearly 3–4 hours at the salon. Throughout that time, no one offered me water or coffee. What made the situation more disappointing was that a customer seated right next to me was offered coffee, and only after serving her did someone ask whether I would like one as well. It felt inconsistent and unprofessional.
I understand that House of Soha is widely known for its bridal and makeup services, and perhaps that is where their expertise truly shines. However, based on my personal experience with hair color, haircut, and facial services, I did not find the quality, customer service, or overall experience to be up to the standard I expected from such a reputed brand.
While others may have had positive experiences with their makeup services, my experience with their regular salon services was unfortunately disappointing.
Overall, the customer service was poor, the process was slow, and several staff members came across as unfriendly and uninterested. Given the brand reputation and the expectations created through their online presence, I expected a much higher standard of service.
Unfortunately, my experience did not match the image of the brand, and I left feeling very disappointed with both the service and the value provided.
