Sonic Bakery and Travels in Koothattukulam has been a favorite for me and my family for years. Their Pala special kallappam, traditional rice halwa and soft vattayappam are unbeatable. I have also been buying their cakes for our family birthdays for so long and they are always fresh and tasty. It is the perfect place when you want traditional Kerala flavors and a spot that never disappoints.🥰🥰

It has a variety of products, beautiful cakes and very hygienic. The staff is friendly and the bakery is very well organized. It also provides parcel services for foods like chicken biriyani.

Super place.We can get rasagulla there.Deserts are good.I think there are no meals there and only deserts like sandwich.

I was a regular customer. Recently I had really terrible experience from this bakery. I was planning to give a customised gift hamper to my niece and I checked with the bakery 5 days before the date I want the hamper. They said they can make it on time with all the items I told them. The important thing is none of the gifts required any baking or preparation. All of the gufts were chocolates which can be easily buy from shop. They even said they have a basket which is suitable for the gift hamper. I called them 3 days in a row to remind them and check if they have any shortcomings or any help required from my side. But all the time they said everything is good and they can give the gift on time. I even called them in the morning the day I wanted the gift and they said I just have to reach there and the gift will be ready. But when I called them in the evening they weren't answering my calls. I called several times - no response. Then I went in store but I didn't find the person I called and the lady, who was there told me they don't have any information about the gift. I asked her to call the "so called" owner and she just pretended to call him and just kept her phone away. I asked her to call the owner again and put the phone on loudspeaker and she shouted at me by saying that she can do whatever she wants with her phone. I was equally angry and sad as I was expecting the gift hamper on time - that's what they promised me. Then I had to buy a red velvet cake from them as I had no choice. I requested a GST receipt for my purchase but they didn't give me. If you can't keep your promise don't bother to say it or if you have any issues just let the customer know in advance so the customer can plan something before hand rather than just waiting till the day and realising that your gift won't be ready on time. I am very disappointed on your customer service and staff attitude.

I am a regular here, mainly for the bakery. Their bread is very good. Cakes are also nice. My kids love the snacks from here. The staff and owners are very friendly.

Very worst customer experience ever had in koothattukulam city . especially one old lady is dealing with customer very badly she doesn't have good behaviour very roude attitude.

Good bakery with lot of snacks and bakery items. Have a small seating area for up to 8 people. Courteous and friendly staff. Good selection of fresh cream cakes and long life cakes. Parking for 2 cars available. Serve tea, coffee, lime juices along with fresh chips, cakes and snacks. Ordered fresh lime and egge pups, was so good.

They seem to have a bad practice if keeping old and dry stock. They make burgers in the morning to sell the whole day! The bakery is air conditioned spacious. Coffee was bad.

High range of bakery products but price is also very high.. sitting space is very less. Parking available. Staff is friendly. Some times food quality gone down.

Their speciatialities include custom photo fresh cream cake, kallappam, travancore rice halwa, ila ada, vattayappam, kozhikkotta along with regular bakery items like, puffs, cutlet, unniyappam, cup cakes, sandwich, plum cake, carrot cake, fresh cream cake, icecreams, fruit salad, falooda, shakes, cookies, ladu, sweets, bread, chips etc.

maintaining quality, good customer service , only one suggestion - why charging extra money for carry bags , try to charge the cost price its better otherwise make a policy and notice their is no free carry bags under this much money's purchase ,

They provide variety of cakes chips and its spacious But there service was very bad I been waited for almost 20mins after ordering a single shake and they dont even care Worst experience

I ordered Fruit salad. Price 70 Normal fruit salad. Less quantity @70 Not much quality You dont expect much

Never buy a cake from here if you want authenticity,bought their so called red velvet on two occasions and both times the experience was pathetic...first time it was just plain cream of pink colour and second it was more like brown bread!
