My friends and I had a great time staying here. The host was super nice and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back on our next motorcycle trip.

Location of the property was convenient for commutation. Christmas decorations were lovely. The entire property was maintained neat and clean. We loved hanging out in the balcony!! We had an amazing experience! Thank you for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable 😄

Absolute gorgeous 3BHk with balcony and terrace. The kitchen and Balcony was worth it. Had a wonderful service and a quiet place to enjoy with family. We paid 11500 for 7 people a day but it's actually comfortable. The kitchen had a fridge, microwave and induction which was helpful for cooking small snacks. Rooms and bathrooms where clean and warm water was available all the time. Rooms was very spacious and comfortable to sleep with kids with extra bed

We are very happy with the stay.. The house was well maintained and we were so impressed with the interior work. We didn't have a feeling that we are away from our home.. very comfortable and well maintained house. we will definitely recommend this to our friends. After booking gowri send us the details of nearby hotels, cab and bike rental services. By using that only we booked a cab for our trip.. we are satisfied with that also.

The owner was always reachable in chat and call. the care taker was a call away. we enjoyed a pleasant stay. amazing property and reasonable price.. situated in residential area but has quick access to shops and restaurants.. thankyou Gowri for all the guidance you can go for it without much thoughts trust worthy place has 3 bedrooms but 4 couples and 4 kids stayed comfortably fantastic place

The place is very neat and cozy. Definitely a home away from home!! The next trip to chikmagalur will surely be with Spencer house again. It is very close to the shopping area and everything is available there. The house has a great terrace to relax and a kitchen equipped with all essential cutlery. We went with a 2 kids (< 2 yr and a 6yr) and with 2 Senior citizens and it was a very comfortable stay. The hosts Gauri and Karan are amazing people. Their review about food, shopping, dos and don'ts were bang on. Just go with it. Glad to have met such beautiful people. All in all - great stay. Go for spencer house and make memories!!

This place is an absolute match for a family stay. We were 03 families and it was a memorable stay just like being at home. The place is well maintained and situated in a pleasant residential area. The location is very accessible and close by to many hot spots around. I recommend and would like to visit again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Spencer House, went along with family. Tastefully well maintained property and very easy to commute in Chikmaguluru. Gowri (Property Owner) was very prompt in responding and care taker was a call away, Home away from Home, I would highly recommend this place for stay at Chikmaguluru, Owner guided us with places to visit, eateries and local transport.

Had 2 night stays here, Gowri is reachable for any help over phone, location is very close to the main market and grocery shops are at walkable distance, ample parking space on road which is safe. The house was very clean, beautiful interior and well maintained kitchen. Jagdeesh proactively helps to ensure a pleasant stay. Overall, it felt like our own home :)

It was a great place to stay and feel homely. The property is well maintained keeping every important thing in mind. It is located in the main city with a very quite enviroment. I especially loved their outside sitting place to chill and enjoy.

Spencer house was like our second home. We, a family of 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) stayed in spencer house for a period of 5days and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Kids friendly, lovely décor, homely, comfortable, has so many facilities that makes you want to stay there for a longer time. The owner and the helpers make sure you have everything you need. They even share with you the nearby site-seeing places and famous restaurants for every cuisine. Location is amazing, very near to the town and highway. In and all, a great place to spend time in the land of coffee!

Perfect vintage house for a big group of friends or even a family with kids. The rooms are spacious and well lit, Hygenie part was not compromised. Lots of open space and the host it super friendly. All the main attractions are within 20 min drive! Overall, an amazing place to spend your holiday comfortably.

Travelers, beware they are not customer friendly and will happily scam your money. After booking, we came to know through reviews that they don't serve food. We had to cancel the booking as we were traveling with young children. The owners are greedy and did not give us full refund in spite of a valid reason and cancelling within 24 hours while actual travel dates were 10 days away. The host was persuading us to book directly vs via Airbnb so that she can save on commission. Thankfully got 50% of Acco fees back because of Airbnb policy else they would have refunded zero in case of direct booking.

Best place if you are visiting as a big family or a big group. Spacious and clean rooms and toilets, very peaceful surroundings and shops and hotels are close to the house. The host was super friendly. I travelled with my pet and the host was very accommodating.

Spencer House is located in a very peaceful neighbourhood and just few mins away from the Chikmagalur town. The host, Gowri not only ensured that we have a seamless check-in experience but also shared a list of places to visit and restaurants/cafes to try out different cuisines. The property is very well maintained, rooms are pretty spacious with attached washrooms, the sit out area is just right for a group of 8-10 pax to comfortably enjoy drinks and snacks in the evening and the living area is equipped with a big LED TV and home theatre system. Would totally recommend this place especially for group travellers!

This homestay is one of its kind. Such a nicely decorated vintage styled house!! The efforts put in by the owner to maintain the property is commendable. It is something that one would like to come back often just to chill at the homestay. The hospitality provided by Gowri is just amazing! She made sure that we were comfortable and at ease all the time. And her recommendations about the nearby food places were of such a great help. All in all we had a great weekend at this place and would surely recommend it to everyone who visits Chikmagalur!

We had a good stay here. The Airbnb is perfect for couples and friends. Their balcony and kitchen area is cool. Close to all the tourist locations and restaurants as well.

We ,7 family members stayed @ Spencer's house between 26 this December to 30th December 21. We got 3 bedroom house with kitchen ,2 terrace and living room.all rooms are spacious with good quality interior ,furniture and supporting facilities all hygienic and clean. Owner is supportive .We recommend the place for enjoyable stay in Chikmagalur.

We had gone for New year's. Great place, vintage feels, very warm and welcoming house owners. Place is very spacious and clean. There is parking space if you have your own vehicle. The owner even guided us with places to visit around and good local food.

A perfect place to escape from city life. The place is well maintained and you will surely be lost in the greens around. The hospitality is warm, rooms are clean and tidy. A must visit place. There are many artworks which was just mesmerizing ❤
