I am Muralitaran Mugashini.I am currently 17 years old. My future ambition is to become a Sri Lankan airlines pilot. so it possible can you tell me what are the school A/L subjects to become a pilot? And how much does the airline course cost. Thank you.

I had the privilege to be in the first batch of Cabin crew training in Aviation College, called IAA, in those days. Today, I am happily flying for SriLankan Airlines, thanks to that qualification. Whoever wants to become a cabin crew member for SriLankan, he or she needs to follow this IATA cabin crew training as a mandatory requirement. There are several other programs also offered by the institute, even degree qualifications, in every aspects in Aviation. Highly recommended as a best training center in the region as recognized by IATA and lots of foreign students also study here.

Stay away from this college because this is one of the worst aviation schools that most people should know about. It is useless to enrol as you would not get an internationally recognised certificate and there are no vacancies in this field after you finish your course. Moreover, the school is dedicated in prolonging courses and due to their bad management, are delaying 2 year courses by 4 years. Furthermore, communication between the school administration and students are virtually nonexistent and the college does not make any efforts to improve or correct it. They frequently delay scheduled exams with little to no notice and take as many as 6 months to finally release the results. There are so many other issues with this college that I cannot fit into this review but my advice is that if you’re interested in working in the field of aviation, try to look for institutes in Europe or Australia as they would be more worthwhile and not overpriced unlike this garbage college.

I'm 18 years old & doing maths for my A/L on next year(2021). From my childhood I wanted to be an aircraft engineer and willing to give my honest service to srilankan airlines oneday. I would like to join with SriLankan Aviation College soon...☺️☺️

Hey sri Lankan aviation college I am just 14. But a crazy enthusiasts for aviation.i will sit for G.C.E O/Lexamination in 2019. Would you guide me with the instructions,like simply what kind of subjects I must be good at and least marks I should achive??? So icoud be more certain about my ambition??. I recommend SLAC (Sri Lankan Aviation College) as a amazing school of Aviation They have the best teachers plus the teaching is quite amazing they help you with practical training so that it will be easy for you in focus to recruitment in Sri Lankan Airlines or any other airline you prefer.

I am only 14 .But I am professional at aviation(specially on flying).But should study more about navigation and also about TCAS.(Traffic alert and Collison avoidance system).Specially I love AIRBUS aircraft's.Soon I love to come to the holiday course.Soon I will come.

Supposed to have finished EASA part 66 in 2 years, but guess what had to wait for additional 8 months because of "unforseen circumstances". I mean most of the instructors are top notch, most of the admin staff are rude and unaccommodating although one person helped us as much as possible, don't even get me started on the OJT (have been told they don't have to teach us anything lol) 10/10 will visit again for "tea dhekai"

Good facility for training on various fields. I was here as an external trainer and the facilities were good.
