It was a gorgeous walk in and around the luscious greenery of the park. Perfect for a stroll with your better half, a digestion walk after indulging in one of the many eateries nearby or a bit of light afternoon reading, this park offers serenity for all. If you are with young ones, there are a few playgrounds that are sure to keep the little ones engaged aswell. A highlight would be the seaside walk, where you can catch a gorgeous sunset and unwind with the calm, lapping tides. Word of small caution though, if you are sensitive to mosquitoes (which I am), I would definitely recommend carrying some repellent. Overall a great experience and a welcoming escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and its traffic.

Very well maintained park which stood till today as an iconic place for all of us us. All the 80s kids in Ernakulam will have very nostalgic memories about this park. The place also got pay and use toilet . The evening view from the park is very majestic. There are plenty of things for kids to enjoy and on top of it the entry is free. The parking is very limited and you will find a place if you are lucky.

I also tried the passion fruit ice cream from Mercely’s nearby, and it was amazing. This place is definitely best during mornings or evenings when the weather and vibe feel perfect. Overall, a beautiful spot in Kochi to chill, walk, enjoy the view, and spend quality time.

You get a beautiful view of the sunset over the river from here. There are some nice structures on display like the huge lounge chair. The park itself is decently maintained. There is tea, coffee, snacks and restrooms. So you can have a nice time if you want to. It does seem like the place where couples come often to spend time together especially being opposite to a college and all.

A star attraction in Kochi; a must visit spot to be with nature, on-looking the Kochi Shipyard, Jetti and Maharaja's College; for all ages. School children come on tour in the AN, watching Sun-set; lovers for romantic moments; body-fit conscience people walking; picnic times. Seekers of solitude also come. Corporation staff in large numbers, monitor the movements, especially, children playing in many Playlist. Open till 6am to 9 am and then from 11 am to 8.30 pm. Plants are trimmed and look lovely. By and large maintenence is good. But fountains are not functioning. Concrete sliders are broken and rough. Should be repaired. Adjacent to the park, there is Children Park in the name of Indira Priyadarshini; boat jetty for jolly ride. Bundle of recreative opportunities unfold when you visit. Sun-set watching is a highlight.

its beautiful and you should definetly come here around 5:30-6:30 pm, the sun looks BEAUTIFUL during the sunset over here, you can come here with kids but you should be with them at all times, it's a huge park so you could get lost.
