Suku in HSR Layout turned out to be a delightful find for a casual Japanese meal. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but it's thoughtfully maintained, cozy, and has a welcoming vibe. We started with the Veg Katsu Sushi, which was surprisingly good. The crispy, fried texture added a nice crunch while still keeping the flavors well balanced. For my main course, I ordered the Khao Suey, and the portion size was quite generous, I couldn't finish it and had to get the rest packed. That said, for someone trying it for the first time, it was flavorful, satisfying, and made with well-balanced ingredients. My partner went for the Chicken Ramen Bowl, which was equally enjoyable and comforting. One thing to note is that the food does take a bit of time to arrive, as everything seems to be prepared fresh. However, once the dishes reached the table, it was easy to see why the quality and taste made the wait completely worth it. Overall, Suku is a great spot in HSR for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Japanese-inspired comfort food in a cozy setting. Definitely a place I'd visit again.
