Prayer Eid Al Fitr in the Sultan Qaboos Mosque Salalah and honestly, it’s breathtaking. The clean white structure, intricate Islamic design, and calm surroundings make it such a peaceful place. Perfect for both spiritual reflection and beautiful photos. Highly recommended !

Visited this mosque during Ramadan period and was denied entry as tourists. However, the guard kindly allowed us to take photos outside. So make sure don’t visit during Ramadan if you want to go inside

Először este mentünk megnézni a mecsetet. Természetesen nem mehettünk be, így csak kívülről csodáltuk és fotóztuk. Majd egy Salalah városnézés, fakultatív program keretében kívülről és belülről egyaránt megcsodálhattuk. Szigorúan beöltözve, -akin nem volt bokáig érő ruha, annak idegenvezetőnk egy hosszú kendőt is kötött a derekára- léphettünk be a mecsetbe. Belsejének nagysága, kialakítása, építészeti stílusa nagyon tetszett. Az ablakok, a különleges oszlopok, a pompás csillárok mind figyelemre méltóak. Az idegenvezetés alatt, gépkocsivezetőnk a koránból énekelt nekünk, megható pillanat volt.

من افضل الاماكن الي زرتها جامع رائع وقمه في النظافه والترتيب الصلاه داخله تشعرك بالراحه والطمأنينة Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Salalah is truly an absolutely amazing place to pray. The architecture is breathtaking, with beautiful domes, intricate designs, and a serene, peaceful atmosphere that instantly puts you in a spiritual mindset. The prayer halls are spacious, immaculately clean, and very comfortable, allowing for complete focus and tranquility. The outdoor areas are equally impressive, offering calm gardens and well-maintained surroundings. The mosque is welcoming, organized, and exudes a sense of calm that makes every visit special. Honestly, it’s one of the most remarkable places to pray and reflect—amazing for real!

It was the very wonderfull experience in Sultan Qaboos Mosque Salalah. I just reached Salalah one night before then we offered the Eid Prayer. Tge Mosque was full due to people came for Salah. First time in my life I noticed the ladies are also coming for eid prayer. We got the place for prayer in garden area. The Mosque was designed out class i missed the chance to go inside the Mosque but people said it is very wonderfull from inside also. Must visit.

Beautiful Masjid nice interior mashallah and lovely atmosphere I came to Muscat from the UK in ramadan and it was a beautiful mesmerising experience the imam recites beautifully and the people of oman 🇴🇲 are really friendly Mashallah love the mosque just wish that the masjid was open a bit more longer after Isha and Tarawih

The biggest mosque in the city. Always open for prayer and closes after Eshaa prayer. The ladies hall is big and clean with toilets and places for ablution (وضوء). There is also 2 internal screens that show inside the mosque, men hall, to women. It’s well maintained and smells good due to incense all the time.

Una bella moschea, vista solo dall'esterno, per rispetto alla cultura e tradizione locale non ho chiesto di poter entrare. Se si passa da Salalah merita certo una visita anche se non è alla portata della grande moschea di Mascate.

Ciekawy nowoczesny meczet, z uwagi na duży ruch turystów trudno o chwilę spokoju na modlitwę...

Visitors are welcomed respectfully, and the mosque has a calm and spiritual ambiance that makes you feel at peace. It’s not just a place of prayer but also an architectural gem that reflects Omani culture and heritage. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Salalah — whether for faith, architecture, or simply to enjoy the peaceful environment. قمت بزيارة جامع السلطان قابوس بصلالة، وكانت تجربة روحانية وجميلة جدًا. يقع المسجد في قلب مدينة صلالة، مما يجعله سهل الوصول من أي مكان في المدينة. يتميز المسجد بتصميم معماري رائع — بُني باللون الأبيض مع قِباب ومآذن أنيقة. أما من الداخل فهو مدهش أيضًا، حيث يحتوي على قاعة صلاة واسعة، وثُريّات ضخمة، وزخارف إسلامية دقيقة تضفي جوًا من السكينة والوقار. الزوار يُستقبلون باحترام، والأجواء داخل المسجد هادئة ومليئة بالروحانية. إنه ليس فقط مكانًا للصلاة، بل تحفة معمارية تُجسّد جمال الثقافة والتراث العُماني. أنصح بزيارته بشدة لكل من يأتي إلى صلالة — سواء للعبادة أو للاستمتاع بجمال العمارة أو لاختبار الأجواء الهادئة.
