As someone who has been a member of this gym for the past 18 months, I can confidently say that this gym offers a no-frills and satisfying fitness experience. This gym may not be as grandiose as some of the larger training facilities out there, but it has its own charm that has kept me continuing to renew membership. And unlike other gyms, it’s just easy.
One of the standout positives of this gym is its friendly and approachable staff. They let you do your own thing, but make you feel at home and are always available to answer any questions or provide guidance. I highly recommend purchasing PT sessions here.
The membership and personal training packages are incredibly reasonable, making it accessible to a wide range of budgets. You get excellent value for your money, which is a rare. I’m confident to work solo at the gym, and initially bought a 12 personal training package to recalibrate, but constantly renewed after this when it helped significantly with my fitness goals and pushing me when work gets busy and motivation gets weak.
One of the key strengths of this gym is its well-maintained and diverse equipment. No matter what your fitness goals may be, they have everything you need to achieve them. When I first started going here, I was like… the only thing they don’t have is a hip thrust machine and sure enough, they just got one! The equipment is regularly maintained and cleaned. I have been here at various times and the staff clean the facility well throughout the day.
The gym's open and start times are also worth mentioning. Whether you're an early bird or prefer to hit the gym late at night, this gym has a steady flow. I typically train in the mornings, but it's perfect for those with hectic schedules or irregular work hours and who can avoid the night rush that inevitably happens for most gyms.
One of the hidden gems of this gym is its sauna. Tucked away in a corner, the sauna provides a wonderful opportunity that you don’t see in gyms outside of the top end. All other facilities are great - I don’t use the showers, so I can’t comment.
The crowd is mixed and I see a diversity of gym-goers: couples, serious weight lifters, younger and older alike, those who are just starting their gym goals, etc. If you prefer a gym that is more pretentious and full of influencers, then don’t hit up here.
While there are many positives, it's worth noting that the gym's size can be a bit restrictive if you're accustomed to larger training facilities. It has a warehouse-like vibe, which may not suit everyone's preferences, but I personally enjoy both of these. Also, if you're looking for group classes like yoga or other activities that balance genders, this gym doesn't seem to offer them at the moment (I could be wrong), although I notice there offer martial arts for kids which is good if you have them. I honestly like the space because it means those people who don’t want to reach goals aren’t coming and clogging up space. My only recommendation to the gym owners is to take down all the COVID precaution signs.
Overall, I’ve smashed goals here and I think that’s what matters.
