Had the most amazing lunch at Tanatan Dadar and the vibe instantly set the mood. The ambience is warm, cozy and aesthetic — perfect for a relaxed yet classy afternoon. We started with French 75 and Orange Whip cocktail, both super refreshing and beautifully presented. The Peeli Mirch Ke Wing had the right amount of spice, and the Chutney Wala Tulsi Paneer was flavourful and soft. The Surmai fish curry with rice was rich and comforting, while Dilli Ki Galiyon Se Veg gave proper Delhi-style feels. We ended with Rasgulla Tiramisu which was such a unique and indulgent fusion dessert. What truly made the experience even better was the staff — extremely warm, friendly, and attentive throughout. They made us feel so comfortable and guided us well with recommendations. Great food, lovely vibe, and top-notch hospitality — definitely a spot I’d recommend for a chic lunch date or content-worthy outing 💛✨

I recently visited Tanatan at Shivaji Park, Dadar and honestly had a really nice dining experience. The place looks beautiful with big paintings, hanging bells, and a fancy bar. They also have an air conditioned outdoor seating area, which I loved because you get the open feel without the heat. Service was quick and the staff was very polite and helpful throughout. For drinks, we tried the Juhu Kala Khatta & Thanda Teekha mocktails both were refreshing and perfect to start the meal. In starters, the Khow Suey Samosa was unique and something different from regular samosas. The Dal Vadai Chatar Patar was crispy and full of flavour. For mains, we had Paneer Kalimiri Masala with Butter Garlic Naan, which was rich and tasty. The Subz Potli Biryani was also really good and nicely presented. My favourite part was the dessert Gulkand Cheesecake. It was different, not too sweet, and a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the food, vibe and service. Nice place for dinner if you’re around Dadar.

🌟 The Ultimate Feast at Tanatan, Dadar If you are looking for a spot in Dadar that hits the perfect note between high-energy vibes and authentic flavors, Tanatan (located right opposite Sena Bhavan) is the place to be. Whether it’s for a live screening or a celebratory dinner, the atmosphere here is unmatched. 📸 On the Table: • Chicken Malai Tikka: Absolute melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The marinade is creamy, subtle, and charred just right. • Kozhi Ghee Roast: A spicy, aromatic masterpiece. The rich ghee flavor paired with succulent chicken is an explosion of South Indian soul. • Dilli Ki Galiyon Se (Non-Veg): This dish brings the robust, rustic flavors of Old Delhi’s food lanes straight to your plate in Mumbai. • Lacchha Paratha (Whole Wheat): Perfectly flaky and layered—the ideal companion to scoop up those rich, spicy gravies. • Tana Tan Sangria & Orange White Cocktail: The bar game here is top-tier. These drinks are vibrant, refreshing, and the perfect balance for a heavy Indian meal.

zomato Had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Tanatan, Shivaji Park! Every single dish we tried was outstanding — the Bharwa Mirch Achaari Paneer was packed with bold, perfectly balanced flavors, and the Palak Dahi Ke Kebab were melt-in-the-mouth delicious. The Babycorn Mushroom Tawa Masala paired beautifully with soft, buttery naan. And the desserts-The Matka Rabdi Gulab Jamun was pure indulgence — rich, warm and unforgettable. Even the mocktails like Tana Tan Sangria and Tarbooz without booze were refreshing and beautifully presented. The ambiance is vibrant yet elegant, service is warm and attentive, and the overall experience is premium from start to finish. A wonderful afternoon spent at tanatan dadar. The staff Mantu Kushwaha was delightful to help up with choosing the tastiest dishes and served them with fervour. Starters I got the veg platter which had a selection of seasoned paneer, potato , broccoli and seekh kebab. They were personalised to my taste and wow I was impressed. Mains Dilli ki galiyon se veg The perfect chole kulche combo. This one stole my heart. The aloo kulcha was a delight to have with punjabi chole. Mangal Pandey ki pasand This was a curated shahi paneer dal makhani and laccha paratha combo. The dal makhani was heavenly and tasted so awesome. The paneer was cooked nicely and tasted nice. Rajasthani Ghevar with rabdi Their staff was so friendly since it was my mom’s bday they customised the Ghevar with happy birthday written on it. Such a unique touch which made a difference! The Ghevar was soft and rich in flavours and tasted heavenly with rabdi. It was a delightful meal! I also enjoyed the patiala lassi and tanatan sangria !

I was craving authentic North Indian food and ended up here — and I’m so glad I did! We tried the stuffed cheese mushroom, and it was absolutely delicious. From the starters to the main course, everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavour. We ended our meal with the matka rabri gulab jamun, which was simply amazing. Do try their cocktails as well — they’re definitely worth it!

We came across this restaurant through food vloggers, and it did not disappoint us. The ambience is amazing, and the background music makes the atmosphere even more energetic and entertaining. When we visited, there was a live show happening, which added to the overall experience. Talking about the food — it was super delicious. Every item we tried was great, and the prawns ghee roast was especially outstanding. The only downside was that the service felt a bit slow. The location is excellent, right opposite Sena Bhavan, and valet parking is available. Although the restaurant is quite expensive, I would still recommend it for the overall experience.

I had recently visited Tanatan restaurant with my family and it was indeed a great experience. From food to ambience to service everything was very good. Although the pricing seems premium as compared to average food prices in other restaurants but still it lives up to its name. We were already full as we had heavy breakfast but we had the following dishes. 1. Masala Papad plate (combo of 3) 4/5 2. Palak dahi kebabs veg 5/5 3. Veg potli biryani 4.5/5 4. Gulab Jamun with Rabdi 4.75/5 5. Mushroom starters 4/5 Ajit Jaiswal was really deligent and never forced us for anything. He guided us with good food varieties and the service was also good and timely. The live music was not good in the morning but one of their manager said it's amazing at the evening. Looking forward to attending more time. Hope the team keeps the quality and pricing competitive. All the best .. keep serving great food and wonderful experiences.

From the moment we stepped in, the restaurant's interior was absolutely captivating. The design is clearly very aesthetic, creating a sophisticated, warm, and inviting atmosphere that significantly enhances the dining experience. The lighting was perfect, and The decor felt modern yet traditional. This is the perfect spot for a special occasion or a delightful evening out. The food was equally impressive, offering flavorful and well-presented Indian cuisine. Masala Papad: This simple favorite was elevated here. The presentation was very nice, showing great attention to detail right from the start. It was fresh and the perfect savory crunch to begin our meal. Palak Dahi Ke Kebab: A true standout dish! These kebabs were executed perfectly—soft, creamy, and meltingly tender on the inside, with a beautiful blend of spinach and yogurt. They were an absolute must-try. Main Course: The Chole was rich, hearty, and perfectly spiced, pairing beautifully with the breads. Garlic Naan: Fluffy, hot, and generously brushed with garlic, the naan complemented the chole wonderfully. Highly recommend.

Tanatan Shivaji Park — Review Nestled opposite Sena Bhavan in Shivaji Park, Tanatan is a standout restaurant-bar in Mumbai’s Dadar area. The moment you walk in, the ambience captures you: bells, Indian motifs, and antique touches blend with modern lighting and tasteful decor to strike a balance between opulence and comfort. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options, including a rooftop or outdoor area with cover, which is perfect in evenings. The food is mostly modern Indian with creative twists: great starters like Khow Suey Samosa, Beetroot Mozzarella Seekh, Zafrani Tangdi, and mains like Butter Chicken, Paneer Achaari, Dal Bukhara with Laccha Paratha etc. Desserts like Gulkand Cheesecake and Matka Rabri Gulab Jamun get very good feedback. The drinks/cocktails are also a highlight. Mocktails and signature cocktails—like “Tanatan Sangria”, “Sharabi Kawa”, “Mexican Nasha”—are well-reviewed and praised for presentation and flavour. Service and attention to guests are generally good: staff are helpful, polite, and often make suggestions; many reviewers say service is prompt. On ambience and music, Tanatan shines. Live music adds life in the evenings; lighting, interior decor, and the rustic-meets-luxury aesthetic create a lively, romantic, or celebratory mood depending on what you want. --- What Could Be Better The menu, while quality-oriented, has been criticized for limited vegetarian options compared to non-veg and even compared to competitors. Prices are on the higher side — many feel you're paying not just for food, but for ambience, music, décor. For some, the portion sizes vs price could be better.

Visited in December and the service was extremely slow. We requested cold water but were served room-temperature water and then had to ask again for it to be corrected. Our orders arrived very late, and when our white friend joined us later, the staff’s attention shifted entirely to her—her drinks arrived before ours even though she came last. There was a clear lack of professionalism throughout the visit. The music was excessively loud and disturbed my baby, and even after requesting it to be lowered, nothing was done. Orders were missed, staff seemed disorganized, and the overall experience felt chaotic. Very disappointing.

I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Tanatan, Dadar. The food, ambiance, and service were simply outstanding. 🍗 The Peeli Mirch Ke Wings were bursting with flavors – spicy yet perfectly balanced, a true starter to awaken the taste buds. 🥘 The Hyderabadi Haleem was rich, creamy, and authentic, giving a royal touch to the meal. 🍛 The Kalanjui Murg Korma was a masterpiece – tender chicken in a luscious, aromatic gravy that paired beautifully with both Butter Garlic Naan and Butter Naan. 🍮 To end on a sweet note, the traditional Rajasthani Ghevar was heavenly – crisp, juicy, and perfectly crafted. The interiors of the restaurant add to the royal charm with their elegant décor, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Indian delicacies with a modern twist.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Tanatan, Dadar! The place has a lively yet comfortable vibe, perfect for an evening out. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully presented and full of flavour, and the service was truly commendable. Appetizers: We began with the Palak Dahi ke Kebab — absolutely top-notch. They were beautifully cut in diagonal slices, topped with flavourful sauces that added a nice burst of freshness and spice. The Peeli Mirch ke Wings were another highlight — tender, juicy chicken wings served on a smoking grill. The six pieces came sizzling hot, perfectly marinated, and packed with flavour. Main Course: For the main course, we had the Babycorn Mushroom Tawa Masala paired with Garlic Naan. The curry was rich, well-balanced, and had a comforting homestyle taste with the right amount of spice. The Garlic Naan was soft, aromatic, and buttery, complementing the dish beautifully. Desserts & Drinks: We ended the meal on a sweet note with the Badaam Pista Phirni, which was creamy, mildly sweet, and full of nutty goodness — the perfect finish. The Virgin Mojitos were refreshing and well-balanced, adding a light, zesty touch to the evening. The Masala Papad we ordered on the side was crisp, spicy, and the perfect crunchy starter to get things going. A big thank you to Mantu for his excellent suggestions and warm, attentive service. He took the time to understand our preferences and recommended just the right dishes. His timing, presentation, and genuine hospitality made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Tanatan – Dadar is a place I’d highly recommend. From flavourful food and creative presentation to impeccable service and a vibrant ambiance, it’s the kind of restaurant that makes you want to come back again soon.

If you’re in Dadar, you should definitely visit Tanatan at Shivaji Park. The ambience is modern with ample seating, and it’s quite popular even on weekdays. They serve proper Indian cuisine. I tried Bhuna Chaap and Banjara Murgh Tikka for starters — both were delicious. In main course, Prawns Biryani and Mutton Curry with Naan were top-notch in taste and quality. Don’t miss their French 75 cocktail with live music and end with dessert. Overall, a great dining experience. Must visit! ⭐️
