Government Teachers Training College, Dhaka (Govt. TTC, Dhaka) is a leading government institution for professional training of secondary level teachers in Bangladesh. It was established in 1909 and is located on Mirpur Road, New Market area. The college offers 4-year B.Ed (Hons), 1-year B.Ed (Professional) and M.Ed courses.

ঢাকা সরকারি টিচার্স ট্রেনিং কলেজ ঢাকার "সাইন্সল্যাব মোড় থেকে নিউমার্কেট" যাওয়ার পথে হাতের ডান পাশে অবস্থিত (ঢাকা কলেজ সংলগ্ন)। টিটিসির ভবনটি মোটামুটি সুন্দর, গোছানো। পড়ার জন্য দ্বিতীয় তলায় লাইব্রেরীও রয়েছে। এটা শিক্ষকদের জন্য দেশের অন্যতম প্রধান একটি সরকারি প্রফেশনাল প্রশিক্ষণ কেন্দ্র। এখানে ১ বছর মেয়াদি Bachelor of Education(B.ed), Master of Education(M.ed), ৪ বছর মেয়াদি Bachelor of Education (B.ed Honours) কোর্স রয়েছে। সারাদেশে আরো এ রকম অনেকগুলো টিচার্স ট্রেনিং কলেজ রয়েছে। এগুলোতে ভর্তির জন্য জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ওয়েবসাইটে ভর্তি বিজ্ঞপ্তি দেওয়া হয়। ভর্তির জন্য অনলাইনে আবেদন করে কাগজপত্র ও টাকা কলেজে জমা দিতে হয়। তারপর সবার আবেদন যাচাই করে কলেজ থেকে মেরিট লিস্ট প্রকাশ করে এবং ভর্তির তারিখ দিয়ে থাকে। সেই অনুযায়ী ভর্তি হতে হয়। ভর্তির সময় চাইলে হোস্টেলের জন্যও আবেদন করা যায়। তাহলে, প্রায় ভর্তির সাথে সাথেই হোস্টেল সুবিধা পাওয়া যায়। পুরুষ প্রশিক্ষণার্থীদের থাকার জন্য পুরুষ হোস্টেল ও ও মহিলা প্রশিক্ষণার্থীদের জন্য মহিলা হোস্টেল রয়েছে। যদিও হোস্টেলের সীট সংখ্যা প্রশিক্ষণর্থীদের তুলনায় কম। ১ রুমে ৪/৫ টি করে ছোট ছোট বেড। প্রতি বেডে ২ জন করে থাকতে হয় যা একটু কষ্টদায়ক। হোস্টেলে ক্যান্টিন রয়েছে, তবে খাবারের মান ভালো নয়। তাই,ছেলেদের ক্যান্টিন মোটামুটি চালু থাকলেও, মেয়েদেরটা খুব একটা চলে না। বন্ধ থাকে বেশিরভাগ সময়। তবে, ঢাকা শহরে তুলনামূলক একটু কম খরচে থাকার সুবিধাটা পাওয়া যায় কোর্স চলাকালীন সময়ে।‌ তবে, কোর্স শেষ হতে সময় লাগে। প্রতিষ্ঠানে সেশন জট বিদ্যমান। ১ বছরের কোর্স শেষ করতে ২-২.৫ বছর লেগে যায়।

The location of this institution is highly convenient and easily accessible from any part of Dhaka. The campus environment is well-organized and the staff is quite professional. However, a little modernization of the classrooms and labs would make it even better.

It was a good place. The university entrance exam was held there. I still remember some of the memories. However, they were not allowed to roam around too much and only had to take the test while maintaining the protocol.

It is well known and renowned institutions for training the teachers. It's mainly training the teacher that how they gain the proper skills of training. It is situated near the Dhaka college. The institutions takes a large area for the whole institutions. You can easily go there from the nilkhet or newmarket stand and science lab mor. Their campus is very nice, but their buildings are very old. Because this is one of the oldest institution of Dhaka. The campus premises is well decorated which must amazed you.

The environment is too good. In the field kids enjoyed it a lot.
