Thamel Doner Kebab

I came here with my friends several times during our stay in nepal and we all really enjoyed the shawarma wrap and doner plate with pita bread. The shawarma is one of the best i ha e ever tried. The staffs are also very friendly i highly recommend this place for anyone who wants the taste of arab love from pakistan

We had the Halal Snack Pack and Shwarma Wrap. The snack pack was very flavorful and tasty, loved it. I liked the taste of the Shwarma it was good as well and a bit spicy. The seating space is a bit limited. And they have a parking for two-wheeler.

雞肉pita超好吃，很意外的驚喜，是聽網友介紹而來，沒想到這麼好吃，芒果汁也超好喝，是真材實料的現打芒果汁，超級濃稠好喝。 加德滿都必吃店家👍👍👍

每口都是雞肉，滿滿的餡料 雖然說名字裡有沙威瑪，但吃起來跟台式沙威瑪差很多 皮我是點flat pita bread(我不知道這是什麼)，有點像我們的潤餅皮但是厚一點。 餡也是烤雞肉，但是跟台式沙威瑪的肉屑差多了，是肉塊！每口都吃得到肉塊！ 其他的料就是蔬菜及醬料，好像有加鷹嘴豆泥，我另外有請他加辣。還是那句話，尼泊爾的辣就會是辣的，所以深得我心 付上一小碟泡菜，這樣一條不到台幣100，再叫杯lassi，適口充腸，食量一般般的我包你飽一天

Best falafel and hummus I have found so far in Nepal! The food is very fresh, and you can tell they prepare it that day (it takes a little while to come out but not long - so they’re preparing then and there, which I’m happy to wait for rather than microwaved food). Loved it so much I came back again :)

The Food is Good! They try to give out the Best Possible food for their Customers. I found about this place recently through Social Media and it didnt diappoint. They make their bread fresh. We ordered Chicken Doner Plate. The Chicken Amount in the dish was considerable. The Hummus was tasty.

Excellent doners, at the right price and a nice quantity. I ordered 2 diners, the chicken and the falafel. Both were excellent but the chicken takes the #1 spot. The size of the wrap, the sauce, the hummus, tahini and the veggies, and a good spicy level to that and you have an excellent chicken doner! Mostly a to go counter, but a few comfortable seats behind the counter down the alley offer a place to eat on the spot and enjoy. I might go back very soon to have more!

During my time in Kathmandu, not a single day passed without me eating here. This place has the best staff, the best food, and the best business owner. A lot of reviews in Kathmandu are fake, and some cafés are extremely overrated, but this spot is truly one of the best of the best. Go and try it, highly recommended.

A kebab that’s definitely worth a stop in Thamel ! I had the chicken döner, very good, fresh, and well-seasoned. The fries are spicy, which adds a really nice touch. It’s a great change from the local dishes you find in the area. Fast service, hearty portions, and fair prices. A very pleasant surprise!

Amazing quality halal food. Exceptional friendly service. Must try their chicken shawarma. It's a foot long shawarma. Never had such a big shawarma before. Full of meat.

I first visited this place 7 years ago, and I must say now everything is just as delicious as it was. The falafel is one of the best I’ve ever had — a perfectly cooked, well-balanced green mix (crispy and non-greasy!). They use real extra-virgin olive oil for serving hummus, which is very rare in Nepal. You can choose “plate” version of your meal or a wrap version. Also there is choice of regular flat bread or gluten-free (buckwheat). The chicken plate comes with a generous portion of meat. Great value for money — highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our sandwiches at Thamel Doner Kebab. They were huge, packed with generous and tasty fillings. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. And guys, you serve one of the most delicious mango juices we've ever had.

Great chicken shawarma! Enjoyed the spicy variety numerous times; was fantastic! Order right when you walk in, and there is cozy eat in dining as well!

Surprisingly good kebab. Huge portion and for me, enough to share with a friend. Small space to eat in. Additional sauces available on the table. Freshly prepared every order. Chicken is tendered and sufficiently marinated. Sauces full of flavor. Served with small portion of salad and pickles. A must try if you are in Kathmandu.

포장해서 숙소가서 먹었음 다 맛있었어요 특히 감튀~~~ 양념 살짝 뿌려줘서 더 맛있고 케밥이 진짜 맛나요 대신 시간이 좀 걸려서 시켜놓고 일보고 오거나 하면 좋을듯 !!

If you're a fan of shawarma, this spot in Kathmandu is a must-visit. It maintains good hygiene and offers a no-fuss, simple dining environment. The limited menu doesn’t disappoint—each item packs great flavor.

The seating of the restaurant is tugged in the corner and the ambiance is not quite good. Regardless, the food here is a must try. I had the falafel plate and it was really tasty. The hummus here is really good too. The service here is good but there are still some places that could be improved. Overally, this place is a go and i would come back here again.

One of the best places to go for shawarma, kebab and other Mediterranean cuisines. Its a genuine place where you can experience real taste of middle east cuisine. Highly recommended. Doner plate is one of the best food I've ever had.
