베를린으로 처음 여행 왔다가 분위기 좋고 따뜻한 카페 방문하고 싶어서 우연히 들어오게되었습니다~! 커피도 너무 맛있고 디저트도 물론 맛있었습니다! 일하시는 분이 한국분이 계셔서 더 반갑고 친절하고 좋았습니다~ ☕️🤍

초코렛 로스팅된 커피와 롱블랙커피를 주문했는데 개인적으론 롱블랙커피가 더 맛났어요. 매장이 크지 않아요. 매장내에는 랩탑도 할 수 없다는 표시가 있네요. 그리고 화장실도 없습니다. 직원분은 매우 친절하십니다.

The coffee shop The Barn is undoubtedly one of the best specialty coffee places in Berlin. You can see from the design of their cafés to the design of their coffee packaging that great attention is paid to every detail. They even organise coffee tastings, which create a sense of community and, of course, give you the opportunity to try new coffees. Some tastings are dedicated to special occasions, such as holidays, for example, Christmas. These gatherings are hosted by a passionate barista, Santiago, whose love for coffee and his work can be seen both on an ordinary grey day, whether you are just grabbing a coffee to go or sitting in the café, and during these tasting events. Once, he made my day brighter and sparked my curiosity about specialty coffee when I was simply picking up a coffee to go. While handing me my drink, he mentioned the flavour notes of the espresso that day, and I was amazed and genuinely excited to return to the coffee shop to try new espresso or filter coffees. It would be wonderful if there were more baristas like Santiago. Perhaps the world would be a better place if everyone did their job with such passion and devotion!

베를린 여행 중에 몸 녹일 겸 방문한 카페인데, 너무너무 따뜻한 카페였어요☺️ 롱블랙, 플랫화이트랑 크루아상 샌드위치, 당근케이크 주문했어요!! 롱블랙은 산미 있는 커피라서 제 취향에 딱 맞았어요. 미테 골목에 있어서 완전 현지인들도 많이 찾는 것 같아요. 바리스타 분도 친절하셔서 여행 중에 기분 좋은 경험 하고 갑니다 :)

Excellent coffee! The barista was so kind and knowledgeable and my husband and I both enjoyed our cappuccino, pour over and pastries. Definitely a hit for our last day in Berlin.

Cooles kleines Café, bringt die atmosphere des Kiezes zum Vorschein. Mandelkuchen ist sehr zu empfehlen, frisch und saftig. Der Kaffee ist nicht nur lecker aufgrund der eigenen Rösterei (sanft aber kräftig im Geschmack und absolut nicht sauer) zusätzlich zaubern die barista Kunstwerke im Kaffeeschaum.

Cafeteria pequena, mas super charmosa. Cafés especiais maravilhosos e, com certeza, o melhor cappuccino que já tomei. Quando eu estiver novamente em Berlim com certeza vou voltar para provar mais bolos e cafés nesse local. Atendimento rápido e simpático e bolo de amêndoas delicioso.

It is very important for me to have a delicious Coffee and nice service. This place exactly covers these criteria. Nice coffees, smiling and polite staff, and the vibe is definitely calming. Hope they can keep this level

A very cozy café. A friendly barista. If you come to Berlin, you must visit this café. On a cold winter day, their hand-drip coffee is truly comforting. ☕

Best coffee roaster! I’ve been coming here since almost 8 years, when there was only a couple of branches of the Barn. Great service, knowledgeable and kind baristas. Great food! Miss the smoothie bowls in the summer though. The coffee here never disappoints. Regardless if you are looking for a new flavor or coming back for your favorite one.

I loved the coffee and the atmosphere. The baristas here were all very friendly and nice. I’ve actually been here the last time I came to Berlin six years ago and I loved it then and I still love it now. Thank you for the nice memories! *Toygur was very helpful and nice, thank you.

Love this place—super cute and cozy, it reminds me of some of the cafes in Japan. The staff are so friendly and there’s a really cool, earthy vibe. It’s become one of my favourite coffee spots I found in Berlin! The matcha is incredible—made from a small pot and whisked right in front of you, which adds such a nice touch. Their coffee selection is great too, and the outdoor seating is a lovely bonus. Highly recommend!

very good oat milk cappuccino, but their product selection is so small I almost wanted to ask if that's truly all they've got. the cake was too dry and the sandwich soggy. and they don't have a restroom. if you offer eating in, you should definitively have one of those on site.

Is this the best coffee in the world? No—but it doesn’t need to be. I’m not usually a fan of freshly roasted beans for espresso, but they make it work—especially in milk-based drinks. Where this place really shines is filter coffee, which they consistently get right. The coffee is well-made, the space is beautiful, and it’s an ideal spot for a quick coffee and sandwich if you’re in Mitte. Solid, dependable, and worth a detour.

I’ve given this place many chances over time, but unfortunately, the takeaway coffee is often poorly made — so be careful. When we’ve stayed to sit in, everything was fine. But recently, we grabbed coffee to go, and it was honestly undrinkable: the milk was scalding hot, no latte art whatsoever, and the taste was just bad. It feels like once you’re a takeaway customer, they stop caring — you came and went, so there’s no incentive to do better. Also, the tipping system where you’re expected to decide on a tip before even tasting your coffee is really off-putting. I tipped out of habit, but after getting the drink, I was left with a bitter aftertaste — and not just from the coffee.

Loved this cafe! - friendly service - a perfect piccolo - smooth, rich and perfectly balanced. The cake was delicious and loved the board it was served on. A great place to chill and watch the world go by ☕️✨

James was the best! Lone wolf running the whole shop, making the coffee with love and attention, chatting with everyone to make sure things are perfect, cutting and serving all the delicious baked goods, and clearing tables all while entertaining the neighborhood doggos! Keep up the great work and charisma! We loved it. Hope the chocolates were delicious! Aloha from Hawaii!

The café was amazing, and the quality of the croissant and carrot cake was great. The vibe was very calm and pleasing. Even though I made a drama and had an argument with my mom, Jonas remained being nice and charming🫣😂 thanks! @Okaadok
