The Barn Café Rosenthaler Platz

Very nice place to have a coffee and chill. The staff was very friendly, the tables are clean and it’s comfortable to sit there. The coffee was good and they offer almond milk as a substitute for regular milk. The toilets seem to be available. Most staff are speaking English but German is not a problem. But you can only pay per card, which can be a bummer. I recommend it!

The Barn is a coffee lover’s dream! Their espresso is absolutely outstanding. Rich, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. Every sip is a delight. The café has a sleek, cozy vibe, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or relaxing for a while, it’s a top-notch spot. Definitely a 5-star experience for anyone serious about great coffee!

Been going to this Barn location for years. The coffee quality is always excellent, they’ve got a solid selection of pastries, and the baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a reliable spot whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso or settling in for a longer break. Even when it’s busy, the service is efficient and the atmosphere stays calm and welcoming. One of my go-to coffee spots in the city.

I live nearby and used to stop by The Barn from time to time back in 2022. After a long break, I came in again a couple of months ago — and now I’m here every week. The current team is incredibly sweet, and the coffee is exactly what I expect and love. You’re awesome, guys! ❤️🙏🏻 And if you haven’t tried the local apple pie yet, you absolutely have to🥰

A lovely coffee shop. Detail oriented, well explained, and thoughtfully prepared. Atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. Definitely more of a “coffee experience” type of place, rather than a grab and go.

Without a doubt one of the best coffees in town. Good place to get some yuppie work done lol. Just found the serving size in comparison to other cafes quite disappointing tbh…

Dependientes agradables, el cafe latte estaba rico y el matcha latte estaba muy bueno. También pedimos bizcocho de naranja estaba jugoso y con buen sabor.

El café está malísimo pero el personal es muy agradable y los dulces están bien.

Sehr großes Café mit einigen kleinen Frühstücksmöglichkeiten. Flat White war sehr lecker, hab nach den "fruchtigeren" (light roast) Bohnen gefragt. Mit Laptop etwas arbeiten ist generell möglich (es gibt einen großen Tisch), allerdings war das WLAN bei meinem Besuch fast nicht vorhanden und man konnte nichts groß machen.

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, und Kaffee und Kuchen waren auch sehr lecker!!

You get the same good food and amazing coffee like in other Tye Barns branches, but service here was really saving my mornings for the last 5 months, every day — it tells something, isn’t it. And a cozy but busy corner of Rosenthaler Platz with vibes of east Berlin and trams is really special.

Surprisingly calm coffee oasis in the middle of busy rosenthaler platz. Attentive and friendly staff!

The presentation of their drinks is just perfect. Photogenic Matcha and Latte. It also has a nice view to the street, great to chill and watch the bustling Berlin go about its business.

The Barn ist mein Go To Place, um guten Kaffee und Matcha zu trinken! Freue mich sehr über die neue Location und den großzügigen Sitzbereich. Zy und ihre Kolleg*innen sind sehr freundlich und wissen viel über die verschiedenen Kaffeesorten und -arten.

The coffee tastes wonderful! They have a wide range of beans to try there or buy to drink home, and help a lot to choose which one is best for your taste. The shop has many places to sit but is still very cozy.
