Eine angenehmer kleiner Coffeshop von The Barn. Der Flat White war super und Pasteis de Nata ebenfalls. Die Preise sind sicherlich hoch, dennoch passt’s zum Konzept.

The Barn was fantastic as always—calmer than many Berlin cafés, making it perfect for a peaceful coffee break. The V60 I had was exceptional, and the barista was incredibly helpful in guiding my choice. I also tried the hazelnut cake, which was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect match for the coffee. Prices are a bit steep, but that’s expected from such a trendy spot. I absolutely love this roastery and always choose their beans when I can. A must-visit for any coffee lover.

4,5 Sterne. Echt leckerer Kaffee 👍 Die Kuchen / Gebäcke sind auch erstaunlich gut. PB&J cookie super lecker. Kuchen schön klietschig. Lage ist etwas klein für den Preis. Der Laden drin etwas eng (Bar zu den Tischen). Nicht besonders schön eingerichtet.

Paid €7 for what might be the worst matcha I’ve ever had. I decided to try out the Anjola matcha which is matcha with pineapple lemonade. What a terrible combination. I could barely taste the matcha, it was just overpowered by the pineapple lemonade. And for €7 it was a complete rip off - if I’m paying that much it has to at least taste good

Remember that hot looking person you thought so much of, only to feel the deflation of the reality, once their mask was removed? That's the story for me here. My radar is usually as accurate as a successful assassin. Here, I seem to have just shaved the ear of the intended. The place looks the part but the bitter brew was a real let down. The cake was ok, but overly dry and crumbly after a fault in the recipe or baking or storage. Frankly, after this coffee, it doesn't matter. The junior team member and barista isn't to blame for those who arrived after, with no concern for the people waiting. But the barista was as helpful as he was new. The chairs and tables are designed for nursery schools, not cafes. We come for 15 minutes, sure, but we want to literally fit. Second visit is slightly better, hence upgrade score.

Wahnsinn! Absolute Empfehlung: The Barn ist ein seltenes Fundstück und ein Geheimtipp. Wir haben ein Capuccino, ein Flat White und ein Schnitt vom Karottenkuchen bestellt. Die Konsistenz, der Geschmack, das Aroma ist nicht zu übertreffen. Die Heißgetränke waren vollmundig, cremig und ein wahres Geschmackserlebnis. Sie hat keine Bitternote und der Übergang vom Milchschaum zum Kaffee ist so genial geschmeidig, dass man sich fragt, wie hochgradig professionell der Barista sein muss, um diese Perfektion zu beherrschen. Uns hat die Atmosphäre und der Stil zudem auch sehr gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Locale molto curato, essenziale e pulito. Il personale davvero gentile e organizzato! La scelta per la colazione o una merenda è sicuramente di qualità! Il caffè ottimo, difficile trovarlo così buono a Berlino! Si paga solo con la carta. Consigliato!

I enjoy the coffee here. It may be difficult to find a spot (welcome to the standard in Berlin), but they do their best. The baked goods here are amazing and complement the coffee very nicely. I have tried them all with the exception of their carrot cake (next on the list). No complaints here. I will be back. Service is good and staff are very friendly. Let me suggest you give John a try. He makes some good recommendations and has travelled the world. Never forget to pick up a customer loyalty card (no need to register or anything!). It is a simple system where you simply give them the card you have and it counts the coffees you buy. The eighth is either free or gets you a free coffee (not sure which).

Due to miscommunication, I received a hot filter coffee instead of an iced one. Paid extra for ice, but instead of doing it again, the ice was just added to the carafe. It was still good though, even if diluted. Was expecting for it to be done again but yeah. The vegan banana bread was incredibly good. I’d come back just for that! We also got coffee beans to take home.

Fantastic latte and flat white. Carefully prepared and served. Delicious selection of cakes also. Will be back each day of the holiday for sure.

Sehr guter Kaffee und leckerer Kuchen. Das Personal ist freundlich, allerdings kommt man hier am besten mit Englisch weiter. Das man nur mit Karte zahlen kann finde ich sehr positiv. Ich kaufe hier auch regelmäßig meinen Kaffee für die aeropress zu Hause. Sehr gute Beratung zum Kaffee.

The Barn is a specialty coffee brand of worldwide renown and we have been meaning to visit one of their shops for a while. The advantage of Monday mornings meant we were able to find a seat and enjoy a great coffee before getting on the road, sightseeing.

Very cozy, modern-looking place, the barista was very nice and provided a great explanation about coffee beans and all the sorts they have. A bit too expensive (8.50€ for 200ml cappuccino and 1 piece of vegan banana bread), but so the other modern coffee shops are. Not so busy on Saturday

I don’t drink coffee but it seems like a very good quality! I bought a bag of coffee bean for my friend and the smell was amazing~ the staff was also really kind. I didn’t know which types of bean to buy so he recommended several. I also wasn’t sure whether i should grind or not and they grind the coffee when you come back to grind.

Great experience! I've been missing the coffee from back home in Australia. I told the very friendly barista and she carefully explained what I should order. Both coffees pictured were fantastic. I'll be back!!

Without a doubt the best coffee I had during my visit to Berlin. The barista was incredibly helpful. He knew that I showed interest in the coffee and it was no issue for him to detail all the coffees that had on offer. Had a fanatic Ethiopian coffee served via a v60. It was sublime. A highlight of my trip to Berlin.

The long black was a bit light, but it was fine. The croissant was nice. The price was quite expensive. They accept card only.

It’s a cute and fancy coffee place. Bring time as there’s usually only one barista and good coffee takes time. If you’re from Berlin, the barn is a polarizing topic among coffee hipsters. Had not visited in a while and must say: they’ve changed to the better. Looking at their menu, they definitely dropped the snob „pure coffee only“ policy. You will find Shakeratos, tonics, and rose coffees on the menu. Also, the barn seems to be among the very few restaurant concepts that does not let go of its principles with expansion. High quality drinks. All hand made. With patience, pride and slowness.

Vor kurzem habe ich das "The Barn Café" am Nordbahnhof für mich entdeckt, und es ist ein wahrer Geheimtipp. Im Vergleich zum Standort am Hackeschen Markt ist die Atmosphäre hier angenehm ruhig und weniger hektisch. Der Kaffee überzeugt durch seine Qualität – jeder Schluck ein Genuss. Besonders schätze ich die entspannte Art des Baristas, der sich Zeit nimmt, den Kaffee sorgfältig und mit Liebe zuzubereiten. Das Café ist ein vollmundiger Geschmack, der das gesamte Erlebnis abrundet.
