Thank you Aminesh for organising snd leading this wonderful travel and painting adventure. We had excellent painting sessions lead by Kevin Scully who is a very experienced talented teacher. During our holiday in India we saw and experienced so much at a perfect pace. Kerela is such an interesting and beautiful place. Plus the hotels were excellent and in fabulous settings. I loved the whole experience.

Visiting India for the first time was an amazing experience. Our travel guide, Aminesh, organised a varied schedule, tailor made for a group of artists looking for peace, inspirational scenery and time to explore the contrasting landscape, culture and sights of Kerala. Thr hotels were all comfortable and the staff very attentive to all our needs. I came home with a portfolio of photographs and the beginnings of new painting projects. It was great to try out the food, experience both the town and rural environments, make new creative friends and feel supported during our tour through Kerala. Thank you for a memorable, peaceful holiday Threka and Kevin Scully.

Our two weeks' tour of Southern India with Aminesh of Threka Tourism was spectacular. Aminesh was a joy to be with and he had put together a first class itinerary - great hotels and a wide variety of fascinating places to visit and people to meet. Thanks to him for a memorable trip - I would recommend him without reservation.

Just completed a 2 week tour of Kerala staying at Kumarakom, Periyar, Munnar and Kochi. It was epic, full of surprises, fabulous food (recommend the great, varied vegetarian cuisine), friendly people everywhere and a different experience in each of the 4 places. Our guide and coach drivers could not have been more attentive and caring of our needs and our safety. Thank you Aminesh.

THREKA Tourism organises the best holidays. I have just completed a 2 week trip in Kerala organised by the lovely Aminesh and his team. What a trip is was… Visiting the backwaters, spice gardens, tea plantations in Munar to Kochi itself. We did it all, culture, painting, eating, laughing whilst enjoying all the beautiful colour and scenery there was to see. It really was a special trip that was carefully put together and well thought out. Thank you so much Aminesh … a trip I will never forget !

Fantastic trip to Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala such varied places and experiences including wildlife and local culture. Aminesh even magicked up a tiger and leopard for us to see. Very well looked after on our travel and the food and accommodation were excellent despite the occasional wobbly WiFi. The sprawl and chaos of Bangalore was a bit of a necessary contrast to the beauty of India on our way back to the Uk but so many positive memories to take back thanks to our wonderful group and Aminesh and his teams’ calm and unruffled presence. Thoroughly recommended

It was a great decision to spend two weeks recently in Kerala on a Singing holiday with Faith Watson, organised by Threka Tourism and expertly managed by Aminesh Chamakala. His arrangements were tip-top: coach journeys, boat trips, tasty meals, hotel rooms ready for us, an excellent driver (who kept us safe in the face of other motorists who chose to throw caution to the Keralan wind), everything had been set up well for us. A programme of planned - and sometimes impromptu - events gave us a vibrant taste of Indian customs, culture, cuisine and land cultivation. We were warmly welcomed and fêted by our local hosts and by complete strangers of all ages, wherever we went. Aminesh found beautiful places where we could sing, he genied up snacks and coconut juice to break up longer journeys, gave gentle reminders as to When, What, Who, Where and Why - and he was patient in saying it all again when we forgot. It cannot be easy to steer a score of singing ladies across Kerala when they are scanning the horizon for metres of silk, wooden elephants and bags of banana chips. However, Aminesh did this with flying colours and, if I am not mistaken, his foot even tapped once or twice to our uplifting harmonies. Thank you Aminesh. Finally, Faith Watson was a brilliant leader and our lovely group of singers soaked up all the benefits that a singing holiday led by Faith can bring: a chance to connect and re-connect, a good laugh, a new direction, a complete break from the 9-5 or from putting the bins out, a shared joy in harmonising together. Whatever - it certainly worked for me.

I travelled through Kerala with Aminesh (tour leader) and Susanna (artist) in November 2017 on a painting holiday. It was such a happy two weeks for me. We visited so many beautiful atmospheric places. I experienced amazing views, bustling towns, delicious meals and friendly locals. It was a truly colourful journey, thank you!

Have just returned from two weeks touring south India with a group of photographers- Amanesh was a real pleasure to travel with. Always calm and quiet with a warm smile - no fuss, everything ‘just happened’. He repeatedly went above and beyond to ensure our trip was the best it could be and the one small problem I had with luggage misdirected by the hotel and a dodgy water pipe was magically resolved before I returned from getting a drink to my room. If I have the pleasure to return to India I would not consider using anyone else HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- thank you for all your careful attention to detail Amanesh 😊

Very well organised painting holiday by Threka Tourism. The hotel choices were very good. Flights had to be re-booked and so not the best timings we could have got, lots of time waiting at airports.

We have just returned from a two week photography guided trip to Southern India with the logistics looked after by Threka Tourism and their owner, Aminesh Chamakala. Such a well thought out programme and well researched hotels and photographic opportunities. Aminesh as well as being highly professional is a joyous person to guide you around his beautiful country. He managed all our check ins, travel and was available to help with buying things and teaching of the local language. He also makes great video. Nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant! January 2024 It’s now 2026 and from 1 Jan to 15 Jan I was on another tour with Aminesh and Threka Tourism. This time Jaipur, Bundi, Ramthanbore, Karauli, Agra and Varanasi. Another fantastic tour. As ever, all the qualities as with my first trip. Aminesh is always on hand and sometimes travelling off the beaten track so there is a feeling of safety. He thinks on his feet and sorts everything out for a seamless trip. As before, he’s also really good company. I am looking forward to my next trip with him in 2027.

We had a great time with our driver Faisy. He is very nice and helped us with a lot of planning during our Kerala trip. He was very accommodating and we appreciated him giving us info about things on the way. Highly recommend.

A fabulous two weeks in Kerala with a great group of people with a common interest.. singing.🎶 The organisation of our daily adventures worked seamlessly although Aminesh had quite a job of keeping us on track when a shopping opportunity arose.! Loved the food, the variety of locations and most of all the people. Just can’t get used to people not wanting me in their photos!! Thank you x

We recently completed a 6-day trip across Kerala, and having Krishna sir as our driver made the experience even more memorable. From the very beginning, he was extremely punctual, professional, and courteous. We truly appreciated the insightful information he shared along the way, which helped us understand and enjoy Kerala even more. What stood out the most was his willingness to accommodate our needs—whether it was finding good vegetarian restaurants or making impromptu stops, he was always helpful and flexible. His calm and safe driving also made our journey comfortable and stress-free. If we ever visit Kerala again, we would, without a doubt, choose him as our driver once more. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to this beautiful state!

We just returned from Kerala, and We were truly enchanted by the place. The vibrant culture, still so alive and deeply rooted, touched my heart. The lush greenery, the serene backwaters, and the warmth of the people made the experience unforgettable. Just returned from Kerala having had the trip of a lifetime. The sights, sounds, and aromas will stay with me for a very long time. Two fun packed weeks of wonderful experiences.
