What an authentic experience. Everything here screams genuine. The menu is well thought of , expansive and intricate. Service is impeccable with the servers recommending switches, alternatives with the aim of ensuring a well balanced meal. We ordered the lunch bento, the Niki udon , the sengiri salad, and the seafood dumpling. Everything on point. A very classy yet non pretentious authentic experience. Will be back very soon!

I’ve visited Toki several times over the years, and it remains a pleasant, dependable spot for Japanese dining. The restaurant offers both standard table seating and traditional Japanese-style private rooms, which add a nice cultural touch to the experience. Service is consistently good — staff are attentive, polite, and quick to respond. The menu features a wide selection of dishes, though overall the food tends to be quite average in flavor. It’s enjoyable but not particularly memorable. If you do visit, I’d recommend trying the maki sushi, bbq corn and shrimp popcorn, which stand out among the options, but I’d skip the chicken dishes.

Essen war super lecker, preise sind sehr fair, ambiente ist Japan Like. Hier wird man als Tourist nicht über den Tisch gezogen. Personal ist sehr freundlich, Karte ist mit Bildern. Wir haben Sushi und Ramen gegessen das ist sehr zu empfehlen.

アブダビにある日本料理やさん。予約なくても大丈夫だった。開店は時間ぴったりなところも日本っぽい。 店内は和の雰囲気で、つい日本語で話したくなるところだけど、残念ながら英語しか通じない。 たくさん和食があるけど、今回は鰻丼を注文。 鰻の焼き方は関東風だけど丁寧に焼かれていて肉厚なふっくら鰻は美味しい。すき家とかの鰻よりは全然美味しい。 そうめんや茶碗蒸しもしっかり出汁が効いていておいしい。日本で高級な和食店のランチというクオリティで、これが中東で食べられるなんて素晴らしい。 日本食が食べたくなったらぜひ。 ちなみにトイレはTOTOのウォシュレットで、手動式ビデしかないUAEでは超貴重。

Very Japanese. If you look for fancy sushi, not for you. If you look for high quality Japanese classic offers, it's perfect. Ambience typical Japanese, too bad most of the waitress aren't Japanese and this ruins the effect. Beer and Bento at 68 aed is great!

Felt like I’m back in Japan! Not only the food but the music, and setting of restaurant is just like Japan. Menus are extensive and food is very authentic. The prawns were big and filled till the edge🍤 They also had sushi counters, keen to try next time❤️

The authentic Japanese food experience is guaranteed at this restaurant, which has been around for several years (I guess around 30 years). Seating arrangement is adequate and the quality is felt in every order we tried. Although we were a group of five, I liked the consistent and prompt service, coupled with the attention to customers. Also, I loved the fact that they serve the food fresh and prepared to order. A repeated visit is scheduled soon.

Best Japanese restaurant in Abu Dhabi 日本の味です。雰囲気も日本っぽくて掘りごたつの座敷とかあって落ち着きます。ドーハにはこんないい店ない。食後にアイス緑茶のサービスも嬉しい☺️

評価が良かったし、友人の勧めもあったので行ってみたが、がっかりした。 酒の肴に鮪納豆をたのみ、後からもらうつもりでちらし寿司丼（要するに海鮮丼）を頼んだのだが、お盆に一気に載せてまるで定食セットのようにして持ってこられたのには絶句した。 呑兵衛は、一皿一皿少しずつ持って来てくれるのが好きなのだが、そんな考慮は無く、一気にファミレス化してしまった。 私はきゅうりが苦手で、それを言い忘れたため、ばばん！ときゅうりがいた。 それは私の伝え忘れだから自分のせいなのだが、きゅうりをわきに避けておいたら「お嫌いでしたか？」と言葉をかけてくれることもなく、配慮が足りんと思った。 極めつけはわさび。 すべて気が抜けており、辛いも何もない。 これで本当に日本人駐在員に人気があるのか？ 期待した自分が悪かったのか、とにかく失望した。 紹介してくれた友人には申し訳ないが、このことをその友人にも伝えようと思う。

友人の勧めで初訪問。 店内の雰囲気がとても良く、掘りごたつの個室があるのも感激。料理はどれも美味しくて、まさにちゃんとした日本の味！お通しのポテサラコロッケも美味しかった。 お酒の種類もそれなり。焼酎は1種しかなかったけど、アブダビで緑ハイを飲みながら和食を楽しめるとは思ってなかったからちょっと感動。笑 いくつか料理を注文しましたが、どれも日本で食べるレベルで、このクオリティが中東で食べられるとは、、 入り口近くの本棚に日本語の漫画も置いてました。トイレはもちろんTOTOのウォシュレット。笑 ランチタイムは定食もあるそうなので、次回はぜひお昼にも行ってみたいです！

Experience genuine Japanese ambiance at Toki. I adore the private seating, and the cuisine is delightful. The staff takes excellent care of guests. On my birthday, they surprised me with such a cute cake, which I deeply appreciated. If you seek an authentic Japanese experience and flavor, do not hesitate to visit Toki!

Absolutely loved this Japanese restaurant! The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the service too. Authentic japanese atmosphere and great attention to detail. Definitely recommend for a delicious dining experience!

The restaurant was pretty quiet. The food was good and it was a great place to get away from the heat. The chicken Dim sum and the beef noodle dishes were my favorites. The dishes were all great without a single complaint. All of the staff speak English well, and the service was excellent. An extra free dish was given to me for tasting, and I was so happy to get it. I think the only thing missing is Wifi.

As someone who has lived in Japan for 10 years and knows quality Japanese food, I can confirm that TOKI is the place to go for authentic Japanese cuisine in Abu Dhabi. The attention to detail in both presentation and flavour is outstanding and reflects the sheer determination of the restaurant' efforts to replicate the true essence of Japanese dining.

Very good authentic Japanese food even though the tuna colour doesn’t look too natural in my tuna combo and some noisy Japanese customers were talking and eating loudly in different rooms. The section separation doesn’t stop the noise. The chef chose nice nori wrap for the sushi and maki but the rice was a bit messy as Japanese is usually better in presentation. The chicken liver was heaven and udon was of simple amazing taste

A big menu with delicious dishes to choose from. We had lunch and dinner on NYE over two days of visiting Abu Dhabi. Everything was prepared well and tasted fairly authentic. The complimentary drink/small bites was a bonus! The table service was excellent; they accommodated my kids needs and delivered the food without delay. The interior was clean albeit bit outdated. Need some kind of uplifting wall art or picture frames. In saying that, it wouldn’t be the reason of whether to eat there or not.

Amazing food, good location and amazing staffs! It was a wonderful experience for me dining in for my birthday in Toki. Food was authentic and the vibe of the restaurant makes you feel you are in japan. Me and my friends had so much fun! Well recommended

One of the best Ramen I ever had !! The Tantanmen is usually grounded pork, for the Halal options it’s made from chicken, it’s RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS (I ordered the Ajitama aside) !! I also ordered the Burikama Shioyaki, it’s a grilled yellow tail collar, portion was really good and the taste was amazing. Definitely coming back as there is so much in the menu that I want to try. Great restaurant 👌🏼

What a find this was! Toki is an authentic Japanese restaurant with a calm atmosphere and bountiful food choices. We tried five dishes and all were very good! Would especially recommend their otoshi, popcorn shrimp and spider roll. The service was great and all the waiters were willing to help with the choices. This is the place to enjoy your company and get some relief from the city's noizy and posh places (but without compromising food quality!).
